The Head of Corporate Partnerships will join at an incredibly exciting time for the charity and corporate partnerships programme. Sitting on the Fundraising SLT and leading the team of four, the Head of Corporate will bring a new business lens to the portfolio, driving new brand and commercial, strategic and charity of the year partnerships. My client is a nation leading, medical, charitable organisation that provide support to individuals and their families suffering from this disorder, while also funding vital research. The Finance department is a valued part of the organisation and you will become part of a diverse and dedicated team, working in an environment where you can collaborate, be respected and thrive. You will be responsible for effective strategic financial management and planning, providing services of the highest standard and ensuring long-term financial viability. Working with the Head of Finance and the business partnering team to develop stakeholder engagement processes.
Key areas of responsibilities;
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the charity, its activities and how the finance business partnering team can support the achievement of our strategic objectives
- Alongside the Head of Finance, manage the budget and forecasts process for the charity
- Provide strategic business partnering directly to the research department and other teams
- To support the Head of Finance in the development of the financial plan in line with the Group’s operational plan and targets.
- Build financial capability and confidence across the charity helping to identify risks and opportunities
Who are we looking for?
- A formally qualified Accountant with relevant experience of financial accounting gained in a large, complex organisation (this could be commercial, Not-for-Profit or practice)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills both written and oral, able to communicate effectively with finance professionals, senior management and trustees, and non-accountants to achieve cooperation and results
- Ability to manipulate data, analyse information, identify anomalies and extract pertinent information. Excellent attention to detail

Salary: £42,000 Pro Rata

About the role
You'll help develop and drive organisational strategy forward, ensuring that services are sustainable, accessible, evidence-based, inclusive and survivor-informed, as well as fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels they belong by celebrating and investing in the team.
About you
You've got significant experience of leading, motivating and developing service delivery teams, ideally with responsibility for small - medium staff teams. Whilst you don't need direct experience in the sexual violence space, it's important to come with substantial experience with skills that are transferable (experienced in complex needs and trauma).
To provide the team with the right support, you'll also need:
- Resilience, great organisational skills and desire to put staff wellbeing and development at the heart of decision-making.
- Excellent communication and line management skills
- Well-developed finance skills, able to manage multiple complex budgets.
- Proven track record of business planning and managing a diverse range of services.
- Ability to produce written and statistical reports to a high professional standard, with an understanding and appreciation of the value of data for impact.
- Creative, curious, and flexible approach with a willingness to adapt and change priorities accordingly.

We’re looking for a skilled, innovation-driven fundraiser to lead the Community Events & Engagement strategy within a high-performing team. Key duties include:
· Delivering a community fundraising & engagement strategy, inspiring action and giving from the Tommy’s community.
· Overseeing the delivery of 3 bi-annual children’s activity fundraising events – the Splashathon, Danceathon and Senseathon, with a focus on recruiting and onboarding new partnerships for the future.
· Leading on the development of new mass participation events and products, driving a culture of innovation within the Community Events and Engagement team.
We’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
· Demonstrable experience of success in community fundraising income development, managing high-level partnerships and events at a six-figure level.
· Excellent track record of working with senior stakeholders to deliver successful fundraising events including partners, agencies and other third parties.
· Experience of developing and implementing successful new fundraising products and events, including mass participation events and ‘in memory’ events.
· Experience of establishing and leading community and events fundraising strategies.
· Experience of successfully leading a team.

The Head of Legacies and In Memory will work with the Associate Director of Fundraising and Marketing to build and develop the vital legacy and in memory programme. The role will include the development of innovative and engaging marketing strategies - including recruitment and stewardship across legacies and in memory. Furthermore, you will investigate new audiences and channels to increase engagement and use your excellent budgetary management to produce detailed income forecasting.
Key elements of the role include:
- creating and implementing multi-channel campaigns to recruit new legacy supporters from warm audiences and increase the number of legacies notified from these sources
- developing excellent stewardship plans for legacy enquirers, intenders and pledgers and for all in memory and tribute donors
- introducing new transformational projects and exploring new avenues and audiences for legacy and in memory giving beyond our existing audiences
- creating and implementing a detailed in memory and tribute fundraising plan based on analysis of donor sources, income and activity
- providing accurate, regular activity and income updates and forecasts to our Senior Leadership Team
To be considered for this position the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate;
- Proven experience and a successful track record at a senior level in legacy fundraising, including the creation, development and implementation of strategic fundraising plans.
- A credible senior professional with good influencing skills and a can do and hands on approach.
- Demonstrable ability to deliver against agreed financial and performance targets, timescales and objectives.
