Battersea is undergoing a significant transformation programme (known as Launchpad) to deliver real change in the way we work with, utilise, and learn from data. Our new approach will enable smoother animal, customer and supporter journeys and will help us embed a truly data and insight-driven approach to decision-making at Battersea. Once the programme has been completed, this role will then be responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance needs for the new Salesforce Lightning CRM and other related applications as they are launched.

The Role
As a Marketing Officer (copywriting and content) you will build brand awareness and help to ensure the Yorkshire Cancer Research brand is accurately and consistently presented at all times.
Supporting the the Marketing Manager you will ensure consistency in brand messaging, tone of voice and visual brand representation. You will extend the charity’s reach across Yorkshire by supporting the delivery of integrated marketing and fundraising campaigns. We are embarking on an exciting new project to support and empower people to start and stay on their osteoporosis medication and live well with their condition. This supports our strategic goal of closing the care gap and to prevent broken bones. The Royal Osteoporosis Society has received funding to deliver a digital programme to support patients with high quality information and services to feel more confident in their decisions about their bone strengthening medicines.
We are looking for an experienced partnership lead to join our team and play a key role in embedding both this programme and the wider ROS service offering, within the NHS and key healthcare partnerships to ensure this support is accessible to as wide a range of people as possible.
The Role
As the Clinical Partnerships Lead, you will be responsible for building on existing relationships with Fracture Liaison Services and developing newer relationships and leading pilot activity within primary care settings, to firmly establish referral pathways to the programme from within the NHS clinical pathways.
This role sits within the Services and Influencing directorate and supported by the Head of Clinical Engagement as part of a project team which includes a Programme Manager, a content designer and an external service design agency who will be building the programme itself.
Do you have experience of working with the NHS and healthcare professionals – and a thorough understanding of NHS systems, pathways and processes?
Do you have proven experience of strong partnership development, ideally within NHS or statutory structures?

The Bone Cancer Research Trust strives to provide a supportive network for all primary bone cancer patients to limit their feelings of isolation and anxiety. Given the rarity of the disease, patients can often go through their entire treatment and recovery without meeting another patient, so external support is vital.
Over the last 4 years, our Support & Information Service has seen significant growth, and developed to become a leading source of support for patients, family members, siblings and friends of patients. Our Support & Information team provide enduring support and ensure that this can be accessed at any point in a primary bone cancer journey and by anyone affected.
Our aim is to increase the reach of the service further, ensuring that all patients diagnosed in the UK have the opportunity to access our Support & Information Service. The Support & Information Officer will play a pivatol role in achieving this through building lasting relationships with both patients and families and healthcare professionals.
They will assist in all aspects of the Bone Cancer Research Trust's Support & Information Service, including the organisation and delivery of virtual support groups, the administration of the Charity's financial grants, the distribution of information resources and the administration of our digital groups. They will also have the opportunity to lead on the delivery of our regional in-person ‘Get-Togethers’, which bring the primary bone cancer community together to gain peer to peer support.The successful candidate will also play an important role in the continuous development of the Service, ensuring that impact is measured and feedback is acted upon.

The Role

This role will oversee and develop the charity's community fundraising and trade revenues, with a target of £266,000 for 2024. While fostering significant engagement with community supporters and fundraisers, you will lead a dedicated team of two within the Community and Trade team. The role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our small yet ambitious fundraising and communications team at Cherry Trees as Fundraising Assistant. Whilst support and administration are at the heart of this role, you will play a key part in supporting the team with sight and activity across all fundraising areas and could be a great opportunity for someone looking to take their first steps into fundraising.

Key responsibilities
1. Fundraising
- To be the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries that come in by telephone, email, and post.

- Provide support to the events and individual giving teams and their programme of activity.
- Supporting the Head of Fundraising with partnerships, community groups and club activity.
- To develop a good understanding of our fundraising activity and to maintain the processes behind registration and online giving platforms such as JustGiving.
- Monitoring and replenishment of office supplies.
- Help to actively promote participation in our fundraising events and activities.
- Other general fundraising and administration duties, as and when required to ensure the smooth running of the department including assisting in other team projects when they arise.
- To represent Cherry Trees on occasion at community events or other activity, and being flexibility and willing to travel and attend events outside normal office hours (time off in lieu given).
- Support the Community and Events Officer in volunteer recruitment and management.
2. Stewardship
- Provide excellent support and stewardship to our supporters, challenge event participants, individual givers, community supporters and volunteers.
- Build, manage and maintain rewarding relationships with existing and new supporters and colleagues and teams across Cherry Trees with a ‘friendly-face’ approach.
3. Information Management
- Using the fundraising database (Donorfy) ensure all activity and correspondence is recorded accurately, as well as supporting our team’s financial processes and data export needs (training will be provided).
- Be responsible for ensuring all records are maintained/updated on the fundraising database.
- To develop an in-depth knowledge of the database to be the go-to person, and identify opportunities to support your own activity and that of the team.
- Continuously aim to improve the efficiency of administration processes necessary for the smooth running of the fundraising department.
- Ensure that data processing is in accordance with GDPR compliance.
4. Finance and other
- To ensure all donations are processed and on the fundraising database, correctly, and supporters are thanked in a timely manner.
- To process the weekly fundraising income and financial reconciliation, with the support of volunteers (training will be provided).
- To undertake other reasonable activities as required by your line manager.

About the role
As The National Partnership Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development function for Scotland.
