Here at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, we provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 babies, children, and young people living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as approximately 3,000 people, including families, siblings, and carers, across the East Midlands. Simply put, we’re here to brighten short lives and support families, wherever they are.
This vital work would not be possible without our dedicated Fundraising Team! Rainbows receives just seven weeks of government funding annually, and it is through the relentless efforts of our fundraisers that we’re able to remain open for the remaining 45 weeks each year.
As part of the expansion of our Fundraising Team, we’re excited to announce an opportunity for a Head of Public Fundraising & Supporter Experience to join us!
Location: Hybrid, home-based or hospice-based working. (Initially, this role will require regular presence at the hospice in Loughborough.)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week between Monday and Friday with the occasional evenings/weekends for Rainbows events.
About the Role
As the Head of Public Fundraising & Supporter Experience, you will play a senior role in our Supporter Relations Management Team and act as deputy for the Director of Income Generation and Marketing. This pivotal position involves developing and leading strategies to grow our income, engage supporters, and deliver an outstanding supporter experience.
Key Responsibilities Include:
· Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing, collaborative public fundraising team, delivering against ambitious growth targets
· Supporter Acquisition: Deliver on a dedicated Supporter Acquisition Strategy which delivers 5,000 new supporters over the next five years.
· Strategic Planning: Create and implement an effective public fundraising strategy, encompassing individual giving, lottery, in-memory giving, legacy marketing, and supporter journeys.
· Brand Collaboration: Ensure the integration of Rainbows’ brand and fundraising communications to maximise their impact, developing compelling content and case studies.
· Income Growth: Develop plans with the Income Generation and Lottery teams to grow support from regular givers, cash donors, lottery players, and new committed giving propositions.
· Legacy Fundraising: Maximise support from gifts in Wills through strategic planning and delivery.
· Supporter Experience: Act as the strategic lead for supporter experience across all teams, ensuring every supporter feels valued and engaged.

Requirements
· Significant recent experience in public fundraising that includes managing significant budgets

Head of Fundraising - Major Gifts
Hours: 37.5 per week. Flexibility will be considered working a minimum of 30 hours per week (0.8 full time equivalent). Salary and holiday will be adjusted accordingly.
Location: Hybrid / Wonderseekers HQ, Eastleigh with regular attendance at Winchester Science Centre, Winchester. For the right person we’re willing to consider flexible working whereby the postholder could work up to two days per week from home. This would operate on a flexible basis dependant on deadlines, internal and external meetings etc and it is likely that during the initial probationary period the post-holder will be required to work primarily onsite in Eastleigh/Winchester.

The Role
To deliver on our new strategy and exciting capital and activity Masterplan, Wonderseekers is growing its Fundraising Team. The Head of Major Gifts is a pivotal new role within this team: working closely with the Director of Fundraising and managing a small team of experienced Trusts & Foundations (T&F) fundraisers, to achieve an initial target of circa £3.5 million within the next two years.
Accomplished at assimilating and interpreting complex information to craft compelling, high-level funding proposals, the post holder will lead and coordinate project fundraising campaigns to achieve the individual project targets, ensuring the highest quality of funding approach and donor stewardship across the Major Gifts Team.
In addition to managing and supporting the in-house T&F Managers and freelance T&F fundraisers to secure five and six figure grants, the post holder will develop and manage their own portfolio of major T&Fs and high net worth individual (HNWI) donors contributing circa £1 million towards the overall initial target. Working with the Director of Fundraising, they will play a lead role in establishing a strong and loyal major donor base of organisations and HNWI for the Charity in anticipation of future funding needs.
The post holder will have impeccable interpersonal and presentation skills and be comfortable representing the Charity and engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders at the highest level.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior fundraiser to become an influential member of the Charity’s Leadership Team. Following achievement of the initial target, the Head of Major Gifts will play a strategic role in designing and implementing future fundraising campaigns (for “business as usual” and special projects) to support the Charity’s strategic plan and maximise its social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Charity to achieve its strategic goals by generating the fundraising income required to deliver core activity and development works

- Work with the Director of Fundraising, other members of the Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and the Charity’s Volunteer Leaders to develop and grow a HNWI funding pipeline, conducting contact mapping and other research, producing briefing notes, working with senior stakeholders to develop and implement cultivation plans and organising information / cultivation events

Role Description
The Head of Marketing & Communications is responsible for: providing strategic and creative leadership to build Clore Social Leadership’s profile and brand; achieving revenue and participant targets; and building engagement campaigns to support our work. This includes:
- Growing revenue streams and audience size and engagement by developing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns for our expanding range of leadership development programmes and products.

Hours and place of work
This is a full-time role to be fulfilled over a 35-hour week, within core working hours (Mon-Fri, 10am–4pm UK time), with flexibility as required.
This is a hybrid role with one day a week in our shared office space in London (Better Space, 127 Farringdon Road, London EC1R 3DA), the travel costs of which must be covered by the individual. We are open to discussing this arrangement further to accommodate individual needs and preferences.
Further UK travel will be required on occasion, the costs of which would be covered by Clore Social Leadership.
Terms, pay and benefits
- This is a permanent contract.
- Salary for this role will be £45,000 - £50,000.
- The post holder is entitled to 25 days of annual leave, in addition to UK statutory holidays.
- The office is closed for one week during the winter festive period (25-31 December), providing an additional three days of annual leave in addition to the above allocation.
- You have the option to join our contributory pension scheme. The employer's contribution is 3% with a minimum employee contribution of 5%.

About this role
Smart Works is looking for an experienced and motivated fundraising professional to join our dynamic team on a maternity cover for one year. We work with high profile and prestigious global businesses and this role sits at the heart of the Partnerships Team, reporting into the Director of Partnerships.
We are coming to the end of our 3 Year Plan, which saw us double the number of women reached from 5,000 per year to 10,000 per year and raising income from £3M to £5M. Key Responsibilities:
39th World Conference
• Responsible for overall project management of the in-person 39th WAGGGS World Conference in 2026, ensuring that the event fulfils the objectives and is delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate the relationship with the host Member Organisation, the Girl Guides Association of Cambodia. Ensure communication is smooth and that WAGGGS’ input to the event is provided within agreed timelines.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding with the host Member Organisation.
• Management of the World Conference budget.
• Build and manage relationships with WAGGGS staff, volunteers, partners and Member Organisations, including working closely with volunteers involved in the delivery of the Conference.
• Coordinate the World Conference programme in collaboration with the World Board, WAGGGS staff and volunteers.
• Responsible for developing and monitoring the risk assessment and contingency plan for the World Conference, including ensuring appropriate Safeguarding processes and procedures are in place.

Role Overview:
The post-holder will be working closely with other members of the Fundraising Department to gain exposure for the charity and the fundraising campaigns run throughout the year.
The Events and Volunteer team is essential to the growth of Muslim Hands both in raising awareness via our events which host thousands of people throughout the year, increasing awareness of our work and generating donations. The post-holder’s role will be central in expanding this and helping further the reach of Muslim Hands.
Main Responsibilities:
· To be the first point of contact for enquires in volunteering and events for post-holder’s local area.
· To support, manage and supervise the recruitment of volunteers.
· To equip head volunteers with the knowledge, motivation and understanding to carry out their role within the community on behalf of Muslim Hands.
· To work closely with key volunteers and groups to maximise Muslim Hands’ presence and work in the local community.
· To support our flagship events including Gaza Winter Walk, Ramadan activities and a range of outdoor and international events.
· To organise and be responsible for local events in post-holder’s area in order to maximise Muslim Hands presence and raise funds for various projects.
· To arrange and attend masjid collections and make announcements to the congregation in the masjid.
· To build relationships with key groups and businesses in post-holder’s local area such as schools, scout groups and supermarkets.
· Ensure that all practices of the work carried out is clearly planned, monitored and evaluated in.
· Ensure all activity is conducted within up-to-date policies including health and safety and data management.
· To work closely with the Events and Volunteer Assistant Manager and the broader Fundraising team.
· To engage schools and universities to fundraise for MH.
· To undertake (/progress towards undertaking) all tasks and duties in an effective, efficient, transparent, and wholly accountable manner.
· To undertake any reasonable responsibilities as required by line manager.
· To promote and adhere to all Muslim Hands’ Policies and Codes of Practices.
· To demonstrate Muslim Hands’ values and ethics in own working practices, approach and conduct
· To support with other Fundraising activities from time-to-time, committing to partake in approximately Live-TV-Appeals during our peak periods.
· To undertake any reasonable responsibilities as required by Line Manager
· To promote and adhere to all Muslim Hands Policies, Procedures and Professional Practices
· To be available to work weekends and some evenings for events, this will be available to claim back as TOIL.

About the role
Join us, and you could soon be responsible for leading on the design and delivery of Anti-Racism, Equity and Inclusion (AREI) development plans and the management of change in support of Shelter’s strategic and operational plans. Along the way, you’ll get to work with a variety of Directors and Human Resources colleagues, as well as a number of key stakeholders across Shelter to operationalise programmes and interventions which will help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives. Providing strategic oversight and professional advice on AREI matters, supporting best practice development, facilitating regular workshops, training programmes and events and providing regular reports to inform Equity & Inclusion I decision making – these are just some aspects of this high-profile role.
About you
An excellent leader and project manager, your career to date will need to include extensive experience of mobilising teams to support the development of measurable initiatives to drive and embed cultural change and inclusion within an organisation. We’ll particularly be looking for a pragmatic and proactive approach, with a history of co-designing and delivering Equity, , and Inclusion (E&I) initiatives that resonated with an organisation’s core values and were pivotal for driving forward their ambitious goals. A flair for turning concepts into actionable plans is essential too, as are strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organisation. In short, you’re a strategic thinker with a values centred approach, E&I expertise and proven experience of leading and managing others.
