This is a hugely exciting opportunity to join Gloucester Cathedral as it enters a key period of development. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and highly skilled individual to oversee our small but busy fundraising function, helping to develop and implement our Fundraising Strategy and deliver Cathedral’s Development Plan. You will oversee the depth and breadth of our Fundraising and Development activities, which includes the day-to-day running of the team, delivering our ambitious In Tune Campaign, leading on the development of future capital campaigns and looking after a portfolio of high value donors. You will also play an instrumental role in further developing new relationships with major donors.

We’re looking for a high performing team player with great communication skills, adaptability and an innovative approach to achieving ambitious fundraising targets of circ. £1.5m per year. You’ll be working closely with teams across the Cathedral - including our Music Team, Clergy, and Learning & Participation team - so the ability to form positive relationships with various stakeholders is crucial.

· At least five years’ experience of working in a heritage or visitor attractions leadership role, with a proven track record of securing and growing income, delivering large scale fundraising campaigns and working with major donors

· Experience of line-managing and leading a staff team at a senior level

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Events team at The Not Forgotten as a hands-on operational Events Manager. Your Role: As an event professional, ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience gained in an event coordination role and be ready to grow into a role with greater responsibility and autonomy. This is a hands-on event coordination role in a small team. Having a diplomatic and friendly manner with strong verbal and written communication skills, will be essential towards building relationships both internally and externally and while communicating with volunteers and beneficiaries. Event management/coordination skills are a key priority within this position, (especially delegate/beneficiary and event administration), combined with a meticulous, accurate and disciplined approach to work with strong IT and data management skills. Being able to prioritise a varied and busy workload and deliver to deadlines. Due to the nature of this exciting position within the charity, there is a requirement to attend events and meetings outside of normal working hours (including weekends) and travel as necessary, along with a relationship with beneficiaries, supporters, and gatekeepers.

One in seven people in the UK experience tinnitus.  This role will positively and proactively innovate, manage and improve Tnnitus UK's services and build on the reputation of Tinnitus UK to date.  This role leads Tinnitus UK's efforts in providing direct support to Tinnitus through multiple channels including telephone, and online.  In addition liaises with regional support group leaders in the provision of support, face to face and locally.  Given that Tinnitus UK is the only charity in the UIK to provide such services delivery of these services at the highest standard is essential and consequently enhances the reputation of the charity,

The position is responsible for the development of the strategic and annual plans associated with the provision of these support services, and has direct day to day responsibility for implementing them through multiple channels (helpline services, support group and volunteer programme, events) nationally in Tinnitus UK.

This role provides strategic oversight and management of the services portfolio (helpline services, support group and volunteer programme, events) nationally in Tinnitus UK.  The post holder works with the Chief Exeutive and the rest of the Leadership team to deliver services, ensuring that goals are achieved through effective management practices, that staff are motivated and supported to build sustainable services to meet the needs and expectations of the tinnitus community and work closesly with research to remain up to date on the latest understanding of the issues that cause tinnitus and solutions that help address and mitigate the challenges facing sufferers.  The role ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with statutory requirements, quality standards, information governance requiremens and organisational policies.

This role will maintain and develop Tinnitus UK's digital offerings, ensuring these are delivered in ways that help and encourage people to access our services now and in the future.  This will include maintaining and monitoring existing services and developing, testing and embedding new ones.

Main Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement our services strategy

• Strategic and operational oversight of all Tinnitus UK's services to the tinnitus community, optimising both digital and traditional models and ensuring relevance and quality

Founded in 1996, Railway Children has dedicated over a quarter of a century to developing outstanding practice and services for street connected children. With projects in the UK, India and East Africa, we aim to reach these children as soon as they are in danger and intervene before an abuser can.  As we embark on our new strategy to 2027, we have ambitious plans to ensure no child is left behind, wherever we work.

Tinnitus UK is the only registered charity in the UK supporting the one in seven adults who have tinnitus!  The charity has recently renamed and rebranded.  All part of the ambitious plans fo the charity to raise its profile and relevance even further, to reach and help more people than ever.  We are looking for a Fundraising and Events Administrator to provide administrative and operational support to the Fundraising Managers (Corporate, Major Donor, Legacy, Individual Membership, Trusts & Foundations) and to the Head of Services by administering donor and supporter records and assisting with events and general operational duties.

Main Responsibilities

Fundraising General (65%)

• Organizing and maintaining membership and donation data in the CRM database (Donorfy)
• First point of contact for supporter enquiries (email/phone)
• Taking telephone donations when required
• Flagging contact/donations to relevant team members
• Printing and posting thank you letters for offline donors

Events (20%)

• Monitor the events@inbox
• Monitor event bookings and process invoices as required
• Liaise with speakers, attendees and sponsors as appropriate

• Ensure website and Eventbrite accurately reflect current and coming events are upto date including event details.

General (10%)

• Monitor Tinnitus UK email info@ inbox responding to emails or directing to colleagues as necessary
• Stationery and mailroom stock checks and replenishing of stock as required
• Assist the Office Manager with office administrative tasks
• Work across the Tinnitus UK team and assist in all areas of work
• Attend internal and external meetings, events and training
• Assist the office manager with bookings of meetings/conference venues for Trustee Board and other meetings/training days
• Organise travel and accommodation as and when required
• Undertake training (In-house and external) as required
• Be flexible and carry out associated duties that may arise, develop, or be assigned in line with the broad remit of the post

Stewardship (5%)

• Provide a basic level of stewardship to event fundraisers - (thanking, providing publicity materials, passing stories to communications colleagues)
• Administering JustGiving and other fundraising platforms

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

• Good basic education to GCSE standard or equivalent (GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English)
• Entitled to live and work in the UK
• Experience of database administration (CRM desirable)
• Fundraising admin and stewardship
• Events admin and support
• Handling phone, digital and postal enquiries
• Experience of using a number of different IT systems including Microsoft Office 365 - such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word & Powerpoint

Desirable

• NVQ level 2/3 in administration or other secretarial qualification
• experience in an office environment providing administrative support to multiple teams
• Experience of using client management databases such as Donorfy (full training provided)

We are seeking an experienced community engagement professional with a demonstrable track record of team leadership, inspiring education and engagement outcomes and successful grant fundraising.

The Head of Engagement will provide maternity cover for approximately 13 months and work as part of the Senior Leadership Team at SERT to drive how we influence, engage and empower people and communities to value and protect rivers in the South East.

You will bring passion for our cause and demonstrable experience in delivering inspiring outcomes from education and engagement projects and programmes. You will drive the further development of our Engagement Strategy with innovation and creativity, securing external funding to deliver against the Trust’s strategy and ambition.
