This is an exciting opportunity to lead our social media team and help strategically shape the role of paid and organic social across Family Action’s channels, including those under the Relate brand. You will manage a team of two Social Media Executives and drive brand awareness, income generation and service marketing whilst also providing strategic insight around wider external engagement activity.

• Lead on the development and delivery of paid and organic social media activity across both Family Action and Relate brands.
• Refine Family Action’s social media strategy in line with key brand, income generation and service marketing objectives

Winston’s Wish is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. We have an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious Mass participation team as our Individual Giving Manager. This role plays a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our Individual Giving Fundraising. The Individual Giving Manager is responsible for creating, developing and delivering a fundraising plan to grow existing and new support for Winston’s Wish across our online and offline channels. This includes Direct Mails, Regular Giving, our Lottery, Legacies and In Memory giving income streams.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Lead on the development and implementation of our Individual Giving strategy, supported by the Head of Mass Participation and the Director of Fundraising & Marketing.
- Ensure all opportunities and future plans are in line with Winston’s Wish’s over-arching fundraising strategy to meet financial targets, organisational objectives and KPIs.
- Maintain an awareness of philanthropy trends, news, events and legislation in the UK to ensure that Winston’s Wish remains up to date on key changes which are likely to impact on individual giving.
Generating Individual Giving Income
- Lead on and deliver a plan to increase individual giving income from streams including, but not exclusive to, direct mail, regular giving, legacies, in-mem and our charity lottery
- Effective use of KPIs to ensure decisions are driven by evidence and real-time data.
- Continuously analyse our income and supporter data to measure effectiveness of activities and return on investment.
- Work alongside our design agencies and in-house marketing team to develop and manage direct mail campaigns, including segmentation to ensure campaigns will be carefully targeted and designed to maximise income.
- Explore and test new methods for donor recruitment and increasing donations.
- Seek every opportunity to increase awareness of legacy giving to Winston’s Wish and monitor the effectiveness of these activities over time.
- Manage a growing portfolio of legacy enquirers with appropriate contact and timely solicitation of prospective legators including hosting events and tailored stewardship.
- Manage the stewardship and development of our regular giving programme including uplift campaigns and solicitation of new donors to agreed targets.
- Work alongside the wider fundraising team to ensure effective cross-selling of individual giving products and vice-versa identify opportunities to introduce other fundraising products to our individual givers.
- Identify supporters who could provide compelling content which could be used by the wider Fundraising & Marketing team to inspire further support including suggesting key individuals who could feature in online and offline publications.
- Work with the Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager to ensure that potential major donors are identified and included in relevant activities.
Administration
- Diligently maintain records of all interactions with supporters on Salesforce.
- Ensure all activities comply with appropriate legal, regulatory and fundraising good practice and with Winston’s Wish policies and standards.
- Keep a close eye on incoming donations to ensure they are coded correctly and that supporter data is accurately recorded in accordance with GDPR.
- Effective management and control of expenditure across all projects and campaigns in line with agreed expenditure budgets.

Introduction to the Role
We are looking for a Research and Policy Officer (Maternity Cover) to join our expanding Policy and Research department, which also oversees the TDS Charitable Foundation. This is a pivotal role supporting our mission to improve standards in the private rented sector through impactful research, thought leadership, and policy engagement.
The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering our research programme, including overseeing flagship projects like the Voice of the Tenant and Voice of the Landlord surveys, and producing high-quality qualitative and quantitative research.
You will also support the smooth running of the Charitable Foundation’s grant-making and governance activities and contribute to our work influencing policy and practice across the UK’s private rented sector.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Research
1. Collaborate with external research contractors to deliver the regular ‘Voice of the Tenant’ and ‘Voice of the Landlord’ Survey.

3. Help identify research gaps and contribute to the development execution of new research projects or commissioning of external research.

Safer Waves was set up in 2019 to provide support to merchant seafarers who have experienced sexual assault, sexual harassment or gender discrimination on board.
Safer Waves provides an anonymous email support service, run by volunteers who are trained in responding to disclosures of sexual violence, and who understand the specific challenges experienced when these events happen onboard a vessel.
We work with shipping companies, industry leaders, law enforcement and maritime training providers to raise awareness of sexual violence within the maritime industry, and to improve the support that is available to seafarers who experience it.
Job Purpose
For the first 5 years, Safer Waves has been a volunteer-led organisation. We are now in the exciting position of being able to recruit a CEO, and we are looking for an individual who has the passion to see this new organisation thrive in the maritime welfare sector.
As the head of a small and rapidly developing organisation, the CEO role will be extremely varied, with the opportunity to shape the organisational structure as needed. The CEO will work closely with the trustee board and Operations Manager to deliver the strategy, improve sustainability and financial resilience, manage risk and deliver high-quality services to our beneficiaries.
We are a growing organisation, and this is a unique opportunity to grow and innovate with the organisation and to contribute to our future success. Responsibilities & Accountabilities
The CEO reports directly to the Trustee Board and is responsible for the following:

Strategy: Shape and deliver the charity's strategy over the next five years, whilst also ensuring the day-to-day running of the charity remains effective.

Job purpose
This role sits in our Direct fundraising Team within the Individual Giving department. The key purpose of the job is to:
- Support the Associate Head and Senior Fundraisers to continue to grow and develop face-to-face direct recruitment and telephone fundraising activity at the NSPCC.
- To work with Senior Fundraisers and Associate Head within the Direct fundraising team to deliver agreed campaigns in line with business requirements.

Key responsibilities
Fundraising and business development
-
Write compelling funding proposals and cases for support, from £5000 to £100,000s
-
Own and grow Trusts and Grants pipeline, identifying and researching new funding opportunities

Cultivate and steward relationships with new and existing funders

Represent Trust at programmes, events, funder meetings
Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential funders

Ensure effective communication with funders, providing high quality reports and updates

Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure funded projects deliver maximum, demonstratable impact in line with funder expectations
Managing systems and processes

Create a calendar of opportunities for grant submissions, ensure application deadlines are met

Maintain accurate and up to date funder records in Trust’s CRM system, Salesforce

Maintain efficient systems for tracking applications and reporting

Work closely with Senior Finance Manager to ensure restricted income is accurately forecasted and updated accordingly

About the role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Internal Auditor for our Internal Audit Function reporting into the Head of Internal Audit. You will support the Board and executive management to protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of WWF-UK by providing independent assurance that risk management, governance, and internal control processes are operating effectively.
Day-to-day, you will collaborate with colleagues across the organisation and international network to manage the timely delivery of the International Audit Plan, while following agreed audit processes. This will involve travelling to WWF funded sites abroad. Depending on work requirements you may travel internationally for up to 8 weeks a year. You will lead, plan, organise and carry out audit engagements as well as collaborate with our Network Internal Audit Group to improve the standard of Internal Audit across the network. We will look to you to build relationships with key audit stakeholders and communicate results. You will advise management on systems of internal control and risk management too. Important will be the ability to make recommendations, monitor managements’ response and implement agreed actions. You will also oversee fraud monitoring, investigations and reporting in accordance with our fraud response plan.
We’re looking for someone with:
· CIA, CCAB or equivalent qualification.
· Substantial experience in leading complex internal audit reviews.
· A good understanding of risk-based internal auditing of both financial/non-financial systems.
· The ability to independently undertake audit engagements from planning through to reporting and close out.
· The ability to analyse complex information and translate this into impactful advice and value adding solutions.
· Effective communication, presentation & relationship building skills
· Strong documenting and report writing skills that can be adapted to different audiences.
· International travel experience preferred with the flexibility to travel internationally.
Benefits, rewards & location
The salary for this role is £48,000 - £52,000 pa. We also offer a full benefits and rewards package including:
· Annual leave starting at 26 days a year, rising one day each year to a maximum of 31 days plus bank holidays
