Location: Based within our Central Office which is in Islington, with home working possible and regular visits to services which span across London, Brighton, Luton, Bedford, Kent, and Liverpool. You may also be required to work at other locations as per required. Please note that our central office and some of our other services do not have step free access.

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00

About the Role

This is an exciting new opportunity to join our Business Development team as a Business Development Officer, reporting to the Head of Business Development!

You will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth, reach, and expansion of the services in which we deliver at Social Interest Group (SIG). The role focuses on identifying new funding and tender opportunities, preparing submissions, managing documents, and supporting with our Marketing efforts. Some of what this role entails includes:

• Leading on developing processes and procedures for approvals and submissions of grants and tenders
• Supporting with Marketing Communications including the intranet, social media, and merchandise management
• Conducting research and analysis to identify fundraising and tender opportunities
• Completing competitor analysis data to monitor trends and opportunities
• Taking the lead on drafting responses for small tenders and fundraising submissions for smaller bids and applications
• Preparing budget sheets for tenders and grants

About This Job

This is an exciting role in Army Cadet Headquarters which provides administrative support to the functional delivery areas of the syllabus. In this role, you will:

• Lead on developing and delivering innovative integrated, digital first PR campaigns that achieve impactful national, international, local and digital coverage, to support our fundraising and public engagement activities, build WaterAid’s profile, and align with wider organisational aims 

• Manage our media around our high-profile strategic partnerships to deliver media projects that meet shared objectives and help our partners become influencers in their sector to drive change 

• Work with the Celebrity and Influencer team to develop effective ways to work with high-profile supporters to build awareness of WaterAid and our work

We’re currently recruiting a Finance Officer for a leading UK charity focused on gynaecological cancer research. This is a permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week) with hybrid working, typically one day per week at their London Bridge office. The salary is £27,000 per annum.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will support the smooth running of finance operations within the charity. This includes processing income and expenditure, managing the purchase ledger, preparing BACS payments, assisting with payroll, supporting month-end reconciliations, and contributing to audits and governance activities. You will also provide ad-hoc finance and administrative support to the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and record income from fundraising sources.
• Liaise with the fundraising team to ensure donations are coded correctly.
• Manage the purchase ledger, including invoices, staff expenses, and supplier payments.

The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. We work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together we have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. We also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse. 

In July of this year the Home Office announced a £53m investment over the next four years to enable the Drive Project to roll out across England and Wales. To end domestic abuse, we must address the source of the problem - the perpetrator.  This funding will make a huge difference to our efforts to support survivors, by holding perpetrators to account, stopping them from causing further harm and giving them the chance to change. 

Reporting to the Drive Director we are looking for a Drive Deputy Director to contribute to the leadership and management of the team in addition to building and nurturing strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as individuals, corporate partners, public sector organisations, and charitable trusts.  Your remit will also include working collaboratively with the Head of Programmes and Managers, to develop a growth and business development strategy for each of our four core areas of work.
