You will join a small, friendly team based in London’s famous West End theatre district, responsible for providing support of over £1.5M per year to actors and stage managers. Now, as we begin a new strategic direction, our case for support is more compelling than ever. It is an exciting time to be joining the charity - our new strategy, ‘Acting for Impact’, has a bold ambition to achieve meaningful change for the professional performing arts community - to help more people, in more ways - the Head of Fundraising will be central to achieving that.

This full-time role is based at our office in central London a minimum of three days per week, with some flexible working. Your role

We are seeking a Senior Fundraising Leader to secure funding from diverse sources to support our program and initiatives. The ideal candidate has senior-level fundraising experience at an NGO, organisation, or charity, a strong and established network of executive relationships in major foundations, and a proven track record of identifying and closing deals in the range of 1-5 million USD. The fundraising leader will develop relationships with potential donors, identify fundraising opportunities, and manage the grant application process.

Key Responsibilities

· Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective donors, program officers, and key stakeholders, serving as the main point of contact for grant inquiries, reporting, and communications. 

· Research: Identify and explore funding opportunities from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other potential donors whose interests align with our programs. Regularly monitor donor databases and other sources for announcements and opportunities.

· Applications & Fundraising Development: Lead the creation of high-quality grant proposals and letters of inquiry in collaboration with program staff, ensuring they are compelling, well-structured, and tailored to donor priorities. 

· Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all grants meet donor regulations, reporting requirements, and deadlines. Prepare and submit timely, accurate reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and financial impact.

· Monitoring and Evaluation: Track the success of fundraising efforts, monitor progress toward revenue goals, and use data analysis to identify trends and inform strategy, providing regular updates and insights.

· Events, Networking, and Representation: Organize fundraising events and oversee volunteer and partner teams. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration and boost resource mobilization.

The Brent Centre for Young People is the leading mental health charity for young people in Northwest London, helping over 700 young people a year with a wide range of issues. Fundraising at BCYP

BCYP has historically been very successful in raising funds from non-statutory sources, particularly trusts and foundations, and is grateful to hold a number of established relationships with grant- makers. We work hard to ensure that we submit excellent, data-driven applications and evaluations. Until now, applications have largely been submitted by our Fundraising Manager- Trusts & Foundations, with occasional support from a freelance bid-writer. We now want to recruit a new member of the team, to help us to grow our income stream in this area and help us to steward these key relationships.

In this exciting newly created role, you will be responsible for helping to grow our income from grant- makers to design and promote funding opportunities, and to steward relationships with supporters through the giving cycle. The role

The Senior Network Fundraising Manager is a new and vital role, created to maximise income generation across FareShare’s national team and 18 Network Partners. This role is integral to driving collaboration and establishing a strategic approach to fundraising across multiple sites.

1. Lead the development of a Network Fundraising Strategy, incorporating co-designed ways of working and objectives across FareShare Network Partners.

Every three minutes someone in the UK develops dementia: a progressive and complex condition that can be devastating for the whole family. One in two of us will be affected by dementia in our lifetime – either by caring for someone with the condition, developing it ourselves, or both.
Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family. Our specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, expert advice, support and understanding to help families care for their loved one. Purpose of the job/about the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Fundraising Team at Dementia UK, where you will help deliver our community strategy developing new opportunities and relationships with local groups and organisations.

As an experienced and dedicated Regional Fundraiser you will deliver excellent stewardship support, proactively managing and motivating volunteers to undertake fundraising and awareness activities, ensuring a sustainable, long-term revenue stream for Dementia UK.

Collaborating closely with both the Regional Fundraising team and the broader Community and Events team, you will champion our products engaging supports in challenge events, and campaigns across the region. Your expertise and insights will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, nurturing supporter relationships and creating stewardship journeys aimed at increasing the average gift and lifetime support across the Northeast, East Midlands, and East Anglia.

To be successful in the role, you will have a background in community fundraising or experience of working in relationship management or new business in a similar setting. You will have understanding of community fundraising across both relationship management and new business development with proven success of building and sustaining stakeholder relationships. Additionally, previous experience in planning and delivering projects as well as with a history of delivering impactful presentations, will be beneficial.

This role will lead the development and successful rollout of Aurora Nexus Fundraising and Engagement strategy, annual plans, generation income and key project work which aim to deliver significant net income growth and increase awareness by maximising local and regional support.

This is a new post within the charity created in response to an emerging need to diversify our income streams. We are seeking to appoint an experienced individual to deliver grant bid writing and to take the lead on the development and implementation of fundraising initiatives to maximise and increase income.

The successful post-holder will join and be an integral part of the Management team.

This post will support Aurora Nexus with its grant fundraising activity as an essential income stream for the charity, including managing and monitoring the bidding process to maximise the success rate of applications. The post holder will also monitor and undertake all reporting on funding to others both within and outside the organisation.

Job Description

• · To work with the Executive team to secure funding from grants.
• · To ensure that a database of funders, opportunities and grant applications is created and maintained to a very high standard.
• · To draft grant proposals to the highest standards to meet the requirements of the funder and the organisation in order to ensure successful bids.
• · To ensure applications are specifically researched and tailored in each instance, including addressing grant making priorities and /or requirements as specified by individual trusts, foundations or grant making bodies.

We are looking to appoint a Fundraising Officer to join our highly successful fundraising team. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your career in both fundraising and in the third sector. The role will provide vital support across our Fundraising Team, ensuring you develop the key skills required to become a successful fundraising professional in the years ahead.

The charity is in a period of rapid growth and will see our annual fundraising requirement increase from £12.5m to over. 
£16m per year, over the next three years. To achieve this we are adding capacity to the team to ensure we maximise the 
opportunities available within the university, corporate and philanthropic community. We have a remarkable track record in
securing major gifts from a diverse range of funding partners and this role will be key to ensuring we achieve our  fundraising targets.

We are a delivery organisation providing frontline educational services for young people. Our Head Office team is based on the site of our North Kensington centre in West London. We are an organisation with team members at different stages of their career, including many in their first roles: we are committed to nurturing talent and providing a developmental culture for all. Our Head Office team works in-person 4 days per week with 1 day from home.

What to expect in a fundraising role?

The Fundraising Officer role is a fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same.

A typical day will have different meetings, priorities and team projects. Corporate and University partnerships often involve supporting several different areas of a business or university with varying content, ideas and stewardship, including hosting supporters at our learning centres. Each fundraising area meets regularly to discuss challenges, new ideas and improvements, and the broader fundraising team meets monthly to reflect on progress to date and plan for the rest of the year ahead.

This role will also involve working with colleagues at our centres across the UK to organise workshops that are hosted and/or supported by our corporate and university partners, getting to know our different teams and helping thousands of young people to access vital learning and skillset opportunities each year.
