We are now seeking an experienced, solution-focussed Head of Finance and IT to join our Senior Management Team. This role oversees the financial operations and drives the development of our integrated IT strategy, ensuring first-class financial and IT service across the organisation.

In this role you will ensure timely and accurate management and financial reporting across the organisation, fostering a culture of financial accountability and ensuring that all stakeholders have a sense of co-ownership of this; working closely with the senior management team you will support grant applications to ensure that the terms and conditions of these grants are understood and complied with. You will also manage our cloud-based IT services to support the delivery of our strategic plan, ensuring best value IT across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CIPFA) with a solid understanding of IT systems management. They will have proven experience in both financial and IT leadership roles, working closely with senior managers and collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders at senior levels. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to present complex financial data to diverse audiences to ensure the organisation's financial sustainability. Experience in the charity sector and in developing financial strategy is essential for this role.

We are seeking a new Head of Business and Operations to play a crucial role in supporting the Head to review and drive continuous improvement.

The Head of Programmes is a critical role for the organisation, responsible for ensuring DEC funded programmes meet programmatic standards, are fully traceable, routinely monitored and comply with organisational procedures and institutional donors’ requirements. Communication and Collaboration

The Group Finance Director holds a key role in the executive team in the Foundation Office of the Charity.  They are accountable for all matters relating to the UWGCF Charity finance, including the oversight of school income, endowment investments, loans, subsidiary companies, VAT, and the leadership of the Foundation finance team.  To succeed in the job, the post holder needs to build effective working relationships with independent school bursars and finance teams and link effectively with the Business managers in the state funded academies.

Purpose of this role YMCA Thames Gateway offers support and accommodation to young people in need and children in care. The service aims to help young people develop the skills and knowledge to be able to live independently and improve their life chances. In 2022, IMO decided to develop deep and focused youth employment programming
to address the significant need in our community. To deliver this, we are partnering
with Impetus. The new programme supports young people from South Asian
backgrounds to bolster their opportunities for sustained education, employment and
training (EET) by providing 1:1 mentoring, family engagement and practical experience.

We are excited to recruit a leader for this programme, to develop it beyond the initial
pilot phase into a long-term, sustainable provision, build and manage local
partnerships, work with others to develop a long-term funding model, and ultimately
to support young people in securing and sustaining employment.

This is an exciting and new type of work for IMO Charity, and we are looking for

• Build and contribute to a culture of impact management by:

        - Maintaining and monitoring systems & KPIs to facilitate regular impact management reviews

We are looking for an experienced project and people manager to oversee our exciting, community-embedded health and climate programme at Paddington Development Trust, a dynamic place-based charity that has been working with communities in North Westminster for over twenty years.

The successful candidate will also have a strategic outlook, excellent organisational skills and experience of managing multiple projects and people.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled project manager to apply their skills and experience to a senior role, including becoming part of PDT’s Senior Management Team.

PDT’s Health and Climate Programme consists of a staff team of 22 covering four Community and Maternity Champions projects in Queens Park, Harrow Road, Westbourne and Church Street, Westminster Maternity Champions, North Paddington Climate Champions and a team of Community Health and Wellbeing Workers in Church Street. The Head of Health and Climate will oversee the delivery of these projects through managing a high performing team of project managers and having oversight of budgeting, monitoring and strategic partnerships for all the projects.

·Do you have experience of implementing a fundraising strategy in line with the ambition of an organisation? 

·Do you have knowledge about fundraising in the arts sector, including best practice, trends, opportunities and challenges? 

·Do you have experience of working collaboratively with colleagues across different areas of an organisations operations i.e., finance and education? 

·Do you have experience of working with a CRM system to support your workflow and track progress as well as record financial data? 

·Do you have previous experience of writing successful Trusts and Foundations applications? 

·Do you have knowledge of GDPR, data protection and fundraising compliance?

Role Requirements

The Head of Health & Safety is the lead and designated “competent person” for all health and safety matters, including fire safety at The Children’s Trust underpinning the three key work streams: “safe care,” “safe workplace” (including occupational health and well-being), and “safe retail and (fundraising) events”. The role holder has the authority to require the immediate cessation of any unsafe working practices.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.
