This programme of work, based in Southwark, works among Latin American (Spanish and Portuguese-speaking) communities. The work is aimed at increasing awareness, uptake and understanding of HIV & sexual health testing, condom usage, PrEP uptake, and HIV treatment adherence alongside improving people's general health and wellbeing. The work is sessional and ad hoc, but hours will be between 5-15 hours per month. Shifts will be offered on a rota basis, Monday - Friday, with the possibility of evening and weekend working. This post would suit applicants looking for a flexible work schedule. 

Terrence Higgins Trust is recruiting a Head of Public Fundraising to lead and grow our individual giving, legacies, community fundraising (including our shop), database and supporter care programmes.

You will drive supporter engagement, develop effective fundraising campaigns, and maximise income to help us deliver our mission. You will bring strong leadership and strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a track record of delivering results. Experience of using data to improve supporter experience and inform fundraising strategy is essential.

The Fundraising and Communications team source the vital income needed for the organisation to create impact and maximise that impact for our service users and beneficiaries. This team provides innovative ways to reach and engage our many stakeholders using the latest tools available. Made up of experts passionate about their chosen specialism (income generation, press & media, digital communications, marketing and policy), the Fundraising and Communications team engage our supporters, extend our reach, make our voice heard and create real change for our many beneficiaries.

OPERATIONS AND FINANCE OFFICER, POLITICAL STUDIES ASSOCIATION (PSA)

Contract type: Fixed-Term (initial 12-months, potential for extension)

Hours: Part-time, up to 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE). We are open to these being flexibly worked over the week.

 Location: Camden, London (Hybrid working - 1 or 2 days in the office per week) 

Salary: £32,000 pro rata, £25,600 per annum

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Operations and Finance Officer to join our small but dynamic team. This is a varied, hands-on role providing day-to-day support across finance, operations, HR, and governance. You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations & Finance and CEO to help keep everything running smoothly.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in, or a strong interest in developing finance and digital administration skills. We welcome applicants with a solid background in operations or administration who are keen to grow their knowledge of finance systems, bookkeeping, and compliance in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

In this vital post, you’ll take the lead on day-to-day operational administration, including office management, managing payments and maintaining accurate records in systems like Xero.

 You’ll also:

• Support HR administration and payroll processes
• Manage office contractors and supplies
• Provide excellent service to our tenants and shared workspace users
• Ensure good data management and GDPR compliance
• Assist the CEO and Head of Operations & Finance with admin and logistics
• Contribute to PSA operations and adapt flexibly to changing priorities

We support flexible working arrangements, but the ability to work from our Camden office when required, including on our regular team day (Wednesday) is essential.

This is an exciting senior policy role in our committed policy team leading the fight to end child poverty in the UK. The development of a UK-wide child poverty strategy in government means this is a great time to join CPAG as we look to influence to influence policy makers to adopt our evidence-based policy solutions to child poverty.

We are looking for someone to take a lead role in developing evidence-based policy positions to support CPAG’s influencing and campaigns work. You will have knowledge of political processes and how external organisations can effect change. You will have a track record of producing high quality research and analysis, including policy briefings, on social policy issues. You will enjoy working collaboratively to identify policy issues and develop solutions, working closely with colleagues across the organisation as well as externally.

The postholder will be working in a fast moving, high profile and complex policy environment and will need to balance short term priorities with long term objectives. Current priorities include influencing the development and implementation of the forthcoming child poverty strategy, sharing analysis and expertise as part of the DWP’s review of universal credit, and monitoring the development of the green paper on the changes to disability benefits, and the white paper on employment.
