We are looking for a dedicated professional to lead the Programme Department in Ukraine. As Head of Programme, you will shape strategic direction, oversee technical sectors, and ensure the design and delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions across the country. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will represent DRC in key forums and contribute to programmatic excellence that reflects the evolving needs of displaced populations and affected communities.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Programme Department, including sector leads and deputies (10 direct reports).
- Lead the development and implementation of technical strategies and donor-aligned funding plans.
- Oversee program quality through technical support, capacity building, and standard-setting across sectors (Protection, Shelter & Settlements, Economic Recovery, Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding).
- Drive DRC’s localization and partnership agenda, ensuring collaboration with national actors and authorities.
- Engage with donors, coordination forums, and humanitarian stakeholders to position DRC as a credible and effective partner.
- Guide proposal development, business development, and advocacy efforts, ensuring that evidence and learning inform strategic priorities.
- Support programme integration and promote inter-sectoral approaches where contextually appropriate.
- Ensure strong coordination between Programme, MEAL, Communications, and Grants through effective management and delegation.
About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to have at least 7 years of experience in humanitarian or development programming, with at least 4 years in the roles with people management responsibilities. Moreover, we also expect the following:
Required
- Experience managing program operations at the senior management level, preferably at country-level
- Proven leadership skills and a competence in people management
- Experience with proposal development, budget development, program implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Experience with effectively coordinating with national partners, local/government authorities, NGO partners, donors and other relevant stakeholders
- Strong technical knowledge in at least two of the DRC core sectors (Protection, EcRec, Shelter & settlement, HDP)
- Full professional proficiency in English; working knowledge of Ukrainian is a strong advantage

Role purpose
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Head Fundraiser to lead efforts in securing financial support to continue our vital humanitarian work. From organizing community-led events and securing grants to managing fundraising campaigns, the Head Fundraiser will play a key role in ensuring our mission thrives. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Identify and apply for at least two grants each week to support Madina Mercy's charitable projects.
- Develop and implement online marketing campaigns for fundraising, collaborating with the marketing team and volunteers.
- Expand the volunteer base by reaching out to communities and identifying new recruitment opportunities.

About the Role
This is a newly created leadership role responsible for developing and embedding the governance infrastructure and strategic partnerships that will position Charity Right as a credible and competitive organisation for institutional funding. The Head of Governance and Institutional Relations will be responsible for cultivating relationships with institutional funders, multilateral agencies, and foundations, while also leading internal governance and capacity-building efforts to ensure Charity Right is fully prepared to secure and deliver such partnerships.
The role will build and oversee the development of international branch offices where appropriate, ensuring alignment with partner eligibility requirements and regulatory frameworks. This role is cross-functional and high-impact, sitting at the intersection of compliance, strategy, fundraising, and programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Institutional Fundraising & Relationship Management
- Identify and engage potential institutional funders and foundations both in the UK and internationally.
- Lead the full lifecycle of institutional donor relationships—from prospecting and due diligence through to application, stewardship, and renewal.
- Build a comprehensive pipeline of funding opportunities aligned with Charity Right’s mission and delivery capacity.
- Work closely with Programmes, Finance, and Fundraising teams to coordinate compelling funding proposals and aligned delivery models.
Organisational Governance & Capacity Building
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of Charity Right’s governance framework to meet international standards for institutional funders.

The Protection Consortium, led by DRC in collaboration with 3 other national and international organizations, aims to deliver a comprehensive, locally led protection response across Ukraine. The project strengthens access to specialised protection services for conflict-affected and marginalised populations while bolstering national systems, service providers, and local organisations.
The Chief of Party (CoP) will provide strategic direction, managerial oversight, and representational leadership for the Protection Consortium. Under the supervision of the Head of Operations and in coordination with consortium partners, the CoP will ensure effective coordination, donor compliance, and delivery of protection outcomes.
Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:
Representation & External Coordination
- Represent the Protection consortium to donor, Steering committee, local authorities, Partners and coordination mechanisms.
- Promote the Consortium’s collective vision, with a focus on localisation, inclusive protection, and sustainability.
- Coordinate joint advocacy and visibility efforts aligned with strategic protection priorities.
Compliance & Grant Management

About you

You bring a deep commitment to locally led responses and have demonstrated experience in supporting and strengthening the capacity of local actors — through mentoring, technical support, or tailored accompaniment — to enable sustainable and impactful programming.

- Minimum 5 years of experience managing humanitarian or protection programming, preferably in complex/conflict settings.
- At least 2–3 years in a senior coordination or leadership role, preferably within a consortium or multi-stakeholder framework.

- Demonstrated experience engaging with government actors, donors, and humanitarian coordination systems.

JOB PURPOSE
You will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy, CEO, trustees and international colleagues to steward and cultivate key donor relationships and continue the development and implementation of the strategy to grow the major donor pipeline. As a Senior Manager, you will take ownership of the overall Major Donor Strategy, and budget and provide strategic insight into how we grow and improve our programme.
You will be confident in navigating complex environments with multiple stakeholders and in negotiating internally as well as externally, championing the major donor programme to ensure a strong enabling environment for the growth of the programme. You will enjoy developing strong relationships, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and will be adept at managing donor and prospect pipelines as well as crafting compelling donor communications.
This role will be responsible for managing the Philanthropy Manager role and will provide support, mentorship and coaching to help the development of this role.

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES
- Manage the philanthropy manager role through coaching, and by motivating and supporting them to reach their annual target.
- Build on a warm portfolio of donors to achieve current income targets and spot opportunities for growth and deeper development of philanthropic relationships
- Monitor and deliver annual philanthropy budgets and KPIs, assessing ongoing performance, proactively managing risks and providing accurate reporting.
- Own and drive the Major Donor strategy in collaboration with the Head of Philanthropy.
- Support on intermediary strategy and growth in this area.
- Work as part of the Philanthropy Team to grow opportunities within the major donor funding stream in line with UK4U’s fundraising strategy
- Lead on the growth and development of a robust prospect pipeline working with the corporate team, individual giving team, trustees, prospect research team, philanthropy team and other key stakeholders.
- Work with the wider international organisation to identify the most appropriate funding propositions for donors and also the internal technical experts and leadership colleagues who can help support and drive forward opportunities.
- Craft compelling propositions and proposals for major donors and ensure quality and timely reporting on donations made.
- Establish a strategic and tactical response to selected prospects and existing major donors in the event of humanitarian emergencies.
- Work independently and with the prospect researcher to gather up-to-date and accurate information on existing and prospective donors.
- Maintain accurate records on Salesforce, for income recording and earmarking.
- Work with the wider team to deliver bespoke activities including virtual and in-person events
- Support wider PPH strategic initiatives: helping identify and implement enablers to help the organisation secure and grow more multi-year partnerships, including at transformational levels.
- Help to position and raise awareness of UK4U’s role among peers, donors and other audiences by participating in sector networks and representing UK4U at events, as appropriate.
- Work within UK4U’s due diligence policy and GDPR policies and processes.
- Support the philanthropy team in other activities, as requested.

About the job
The Grants Management Manager (GMM) is responsible for leading the Programme Support Unit (PSU). As a key member of the Programme Department, the GMM oversees programme development and the ongoing management of the country grant portfolio, proposals and implementation are high-quality, evidence based and conducted in accordance with donor and DRC regulations. This includes overseeing timely reporting, overall accountability to donors and supporting the implementation of DRC’s localisation strategy. The position reports to the Head of Programme and collaborates closely with Support Services Managers, Technical Coordinators, the Senior Management Team and Area Offices on all grants-related matters, donor compliance, and partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Programme Development and Fundraising
- Develop a Country Programme Funding strategy and updated donor mapping, keeping abreast of funding trends and donor strategies, paying special attention to diversifying the funding portfolio.
- Develop donor engagement strategies, working closely with the HoP, Programme team and with input from the area offices.
- Support the HoP in maintaining active and regular communication with donors, ensuring timely response to communications and coordinating with relevant country team members on high-quality feedback.

The Area Manager (AM) is responsible for the coordination, management, development, and representation of DRC programming in the North or South of Yemen. S/he will oversee program implementation according to DRC strategies in Yemen and ensure that operations are implemented within DRC’s regulations, procedures, guidelines, and strategy; enable a productive and accountable relationship with beneficiaries, communities’ leaders/representatives, relevant governmental authorities, regional coordination teams (RCTs), sub-national clusters, donors, national and International NGOs and UN Agencies. Job purpose: We are seeking a motivated, experienced Communications, Community Development and Support Officer to join a dynamic team to deliver WA-UK’s objectives.
The appointee will develop and manage WA-UK’s Communication & Community Development strategy in coordination with the Fundraising Officer, the Programmes Officer, and in partnership with Taawon. We’re looking for a team player who will devise communication strategies and produce content that informs and inspires multiple audiences including supporters, donors and other stakeholders. Duties & Key Responsibilities
Communications, outreach and community engagement
Guided by WA-UK’s objectives and strategic priorities and working in collaboration with its key partners:
· develop and lead on implementing WA-UK’s communication and community development strategy;
· produce content that informs and generates knowledge for the benefit of multiple audiences including supporters, donors and stakeholders; and utilise different mediums through which to disseminate that content;
· set outreach targets and grow and diversify the charity’s audience;
· devise and manage campaigns (offline and online) to advance WAUK’s objectives;
· regularly update website content (including quarterly e-news), WAUK Facebook page, X, Instagram profiles, LinkedIn;
· liaise with Taawon to coordinate messaging and appeals as and when necessary;
· maintain and update mailing lists;
· with the fundraising officer, promote the charity’s public profile (directly and indirectly) including through participation in multiple fora and with other stakeholders, charities, NGOs operating in the humanitarian space;

Administration

About us
The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of humanitarian crisis overseas. This role will require you to lead on organic social media as part of the DEC Communications team, working closely with the Digital and Innovation team in Fundraising, collaborate with social leads across our 15 member charities and public figures through our talent agency. During appeal launch periods it will also involve managing a small social media team of volunteers.
All roles at the DEC are based in our London office. We operate a hybrid working model, with some non-negotiable office attendance. Just over a year ago, Children Not Numbers was founded in response to the unprecedented crisis facing Palestinian children in Gaza.

What’s the role about?
This is a great opportunity to join us as the new Chief Finance Officer. As the Depaul Group continues to experience growth and increases its impact, you’ll lead the effective financial and governance support provided by DPI to its subsidiaries. You’ll be the leading interface between the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees and other corporate bodies and subsidiaries. You’ll provide financial advice to the Group CEO, Board and other senior management colleagues, including modelling best practice in financial management, overseeing the financial management in the subsidiaries, setting financial standards for the group and providing support to enable the subsidiaries to meet those standards. You’ll also be leading and supporting the development of a new governance structure for the Group.
What will ideally support your success?
You’ll be a CCAB qualified accountant with experience of strategic financial leadership and management experience and the ability to solve complex problems. It’s important that you also have experience of current financial reporting requirements and financial management practices, including consolidated financial reporting.
