Job Summary

Learning Support Assistants support PiP’s Development Workers to deliver a flexible programme of learning and development opportunities; ensuring that students can actively participate and engage in sessions, giving student’s maximum opportunity to learn and develop. 

PiP’s programmes focus on four learning pathways:

- Independent Living Skills

- Creative and Performing Arts

- Health, Wellbeing and Happiness

- Employment and Vocational Skills

The role incorporates session delivery, recording and monitoring student progress, key working responsibilities such as liaising with student’s support networks and involvement in PiP’s wider work.

SEL Mind are working in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the Bromley Mental Health Hub (BMHH), as part of the ongoing transformation of mental health services in the London Borough of Bromley. The service integrates the expertise of local primary, secondary, and voluntary sector providers to offer flexible, holistic and person-centred support for adults experiencing mental health difficulties.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Peer Support Manager to join the BMHH team on a one year fixed-term basis. During the fixed-term period, the post holder will lead on reviewing, strengthening and developing the peer support pathway. You will play a key role in shaping support for our clients that enhances quality of life, choice and opportunity. You’ll be integral in leading the pathway to achieve its objectives to help clients improve confidence and resilience, reduce social isolation and encourage independence and integration into their local community. 

In addition, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of peer support in the BMHH, including line management of a Senior Peer Support Coordinator who oversees delivery of both one-to-one and group-based peer support, delivered by the wider peer support team. The role also holds responsibility for supporting the team in dealing with risk and safeguarding matters that may arise. Occasional out-of-hours work may also be required to support the team in their group delivery outside of core office hours.

The role requires excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a commitment to recovery-focused practice, and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with SEL Mind colleagues and within a multidisciplinary team in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. You will have strong line management experience and experience of delivering peer support services, including experience of working with people who have complex or heightened needs. You will also possess a strong understanding of the principles of peer support.

This is a new role within the Bereavement Support Service proactively engaging bereaved families with the support service, respond to bereavement support digital enquiries, working in a team to deliver and ensure anyone seeking advice and support on bereavement is given a high-quality service in a timely way.

The aim of this post is to provide consistent, high-quality emotional support via digital channels to bereaved families who seek support from the Lullaby Trust.

Main duties and responsibilities

1. Proactively engage bereaved families with the support service, respond to bereavement support digital enquiries, working in a team to deliver and ensure anyone seeking advice and support on bereavement is given a high-quality service in a timely way.

· Assist with the setting up of new digital channels to be used by the Lullaby Trust to answer and respond to bereaved families.

· To be the primary contact for the bereavement support digital services including WhatsApp, text, webchat and other social media channels.

· Proactively engage with bereaved families through social media and other online platforms.

· Ensure any safeguarding concerns are actioned in accordance with the organisations Safeguarding policy.

· Send materials to bereaved contacts, including bereavement packs and follow up emails and ensure all documents and databases are updated with each contact in line with the department guidelines, including Raiser’s Edge, Excel databases.

· Cover and answer the bereavement support helpline and online enquiries responding within the set guidelines and KPIs for the department.

· Ensure any messages on Bereavement Support Facebook Groups are monitored and advice is given via befrienders where appropriate.

· Attend face to face events for bereaved families including family days and memorial events when needed.

· Work with Income and Engagement Team around social media bereavement support content/posts.

2. Deliver and run live bereavement themed sessions on social media

· Run monthly live sessions on social media on bereavement topics/themes, responding to comments and messages during and after the sessions, ensuring anyone seeking ongoing support is responded to and referred to relevant services .

· Work with the Engagement Team to promote live session.

· Facilitate monthly remembrance sessions.

3. Ensure the bereavement support services are promoted to those bereaved and to professionals working with bereaved families

· Assist with the recruitment and facilitation of Bereaved Families’ Panel.

· Keep up to date with the bereavement support world including joining National Bereavement Alliance, Child Bereavement Network and research around grief and bereavement.

· Attend events as required to represent the Lullaby Trust’s bereavement support services.

4. Maintain accurate records throughout all services, complying with the organisation’s recording and reporting requirements

Maintain ongoing knowledge and training on the Lullaby Trust’s advice and the scientific knowledge behind this advice.

Collate statistics, as required on areas of work within the support services team.

Assist with the services’ evaluation and impact processes.

Provide other administrative support to the team as required.

Attend and participate with external supervision sessions, managerial supervision and team and organisational meetings.

About Us

Amaze is a Sussex-based charity that supports families with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Amaze’s fundraising is growing. We used to fundraise mainly through trusts and foundations. We still receive a large portion of our income from statutory funders (such as councils and the NHS). In the last 18 months we have begun work to increase our income from other sources. We are launching a big and exciting art-based fundraising project that will take place in autumn 2026. In this project we will work closely with artists, businesses, schools and members of the public. As our Community and Events Fundraiser, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks. You will help plan fundraising events, organise our presence at community activities, and support our wonderful volunteers. In this role, you will be responsible for organising events, liaising with schools, youth groups and artists, supporting volunteers and supporting community fundraisers. You will be a mix of office and home-based, with some days at events and activities within Brighton & Hove.

The HR Manager plays a key leadership role, working on, and closely with, the management team to ensure effective HR support across the organisation. As a Navigator, you will be assisting veterans who are furthest from employment to engage in meaningful activity as they look to gradually progress back towards work. Based at your home, with regular travel, including some overnight stays at our Richmond offices. The Navigator is a non-clinical role focused on supporting Veterans with mental or physical health conditions. The role aims to support them to overcome various factors impacting their lives, to achieve improved well-being and reduced social isolation. Job Profile

CAFOD’s work in the Catholic community of England and Wales is to inspire and resource Catholics to participate in the Church’s mission to overcome poverty and injustice in partnership with CAFOD.

The main purpose of this role is to inspire and increase the participation in CAFOD’s work of Catholic parishes, schools and the broader Catholic community within the Plymouth Diocese. CPCs are accountable for delivering CAFOD’s annual participation plans locally across England and Wales. As well as growing the number of parishes and schools participating to address global poverty and express solidarity with our global family, we aim to increase the breadth of their engagement, participation.

This will be accomplished partly by the recruitment and support of a team of committed, inspired and well-resourced volunteers working in parish and school communities to enable and equip Catholics to give, act and pray. The work will also involve meeting important church-based stakeholders, advisers and networks within the diocese to build fruitful and positive relationships.

The post reports to the Community Participation Manager for Wales & West Region (The dioceses of Lancaster, Liverpool, Salford, Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Cardiff-Menevia, Clifton, Birmingham, and Plymouth)

The Community Participation Coordinator (CPC) is part of a regional team working across a group of dioceses and whilst having a primary focus on one diocese, is responsible for the results of the regional team plans in relation parishioner and school participation and volunteer recruitment and retention.

The role will be home based, although the post holder will be mobile and flexible to meet volunteers, clergy and other stakeholders and contribute at events as required.

The role requires a willingness to be adaptable to support the work of the regional team, deploying skills, knowledge and at times activity in other parts of the regional team area. This is likely to require some additional travel (which would be reimbursed by CAFOD). The post also requires weekend and evening work for which time off in lieu (toil) can be claimed.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering participation plans

• Share accountability for delivery of annual participation plans for the region (a group of dioceses) with a primary focus on one diocese, and for fundraising, education, campaigns, and other targets, as delineated by the participation plan for the region. It is usually anticipated that the role will have an 80% focus on parish communities and a 20% focus on school communities
• Contribute to the development and delivery of a regional plan across a number of dioceses in support of the annual participation plans and appropriate for local contexts
• Achieve targets for increasing parishioner and children & young people participation primarily through recruitment and retention of volunteers and working with clergy, religious, diocesan and parish advisers and administrators etc.
• Monitor and share information around community participation and recruitment, activity, development and retention of volunteers
• Closely monitor parish participation activity

Managing volunteers

• Be the local volunteer manager in a specific diocese or dioceses
• Hold the relationship with, and coordinate the work of, a number of volunteers in order to achieve the annual participation plan in the region

Job Profile

CAFOD’s work in the Catholic community of England and Wales is to inspire and resource Catholics to participate in the Church’s mission to overcome poverty and injustice in partnership with CAFOD.

The main purpose of this role is to inspire and increase the participation in CAFOD’s work of Catholic parishes, schools and the broader Catholic community within the Portsmouth Diocese. CPCs are accountable for delivering CAFOD’s annual participation plans locally across England and Wales. As well as growing the number of parishes and schools participating to address global poverty and express solidarity with our global family, we aim to increase the breadth of their engagement, participation.

This will be accomplished partly by the recruitment and support of a team of committed, inspired and well-resourced volunteers working in parish and school communities to enable and equip Catholics to give, act and pray. The work will also involve meeting important church-based stakeholders, advisers and networks within the diocese to build fruitful and positive relationships.

The post reports to the Community Participation Manager for the East Region (The dioceses of Portsmouth, Arundel and Brighton, Southwark, Brentwood, East Anglia, Westminster, Northampton, Nottingham, Hallam, Leeds, Middlesbrough and Hexham & Newcastle)

The Community Participation Coordinator (CPC) is part of a regional team working across a group of dioceses and whilst having a primary focus on one diocese, is responsible for the results of the regional team plans in relation parishioner and school participation and volunteer recruitment and retention.

The role will be home based, although the post holder will be mobile and flexible to meet volunteers, clergy and other stakeholders and contribute at events as required.

The role requires a willingness to be adaptable to support the work of the regional team, deploying skills, knowledge and at times activity in other parts of the regional team area. This is likely to require some additional travel (which would be reimbursed by CAFOD). The post also requires weekend and evening work for which time off in lieu (toil) can be claimed.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering participation plans

• Share accountability for delivery of annual participation plans for the region (a group of dioceses) with a primary focus on one diocese, and for fundraising, education, campaigns, and other targets, as delineated by the participation plan for the region. It is usually anticipated that the role will have an 80% focus on parish communities and a 20% focus on school communities
• Contribute to the development and delivery of a regional plan across a number of dioceses in support of the annual participation plans and appropriate for local contexts

About the role: 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Learning Content Specialist to join our Sector Support team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and managing engaging digital learning experiences through our Learning Management System (LMS). You will be responsible for creating online learning content and the day-to-day administration of the LMS.

About you: 

• Proven experience working with Learning Management Systems (administration, user management, content upload) 
• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, H5P) and multimedia content creation 
• Experience with SCORM, xAPI (Tin Can API), or other e-learning standards 
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory, and UX principles for digital learning design 
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design practices 
• Commitment to meaningful anti-discriminatory practice, and equity, diversity and inclusion

You will act as the lead worker for each individual, supporting them in developing life skills like budgeting, self care, and cooking while helping them access vital services such as mental health support, housing advice, and employment opportunities. Your role will be crucial in motivating and coaching young people to take ownership of their futures, helping them navigate their journey to independence with confidence.
