Job Purpose

The role of the central charity is to facilitate member support and the successful operation of the charity, lead strategic projects that work to ensure the longevity and sustainability of the global movement and to support the delivery of impactful work in communities that meet our aims.

Like many membership organisations, we need to focus on turning membership decline into membership growth. This role evolved from and is an integral part of the “Reimagining MU” project, where we looked at opportunities to secure the future of the movement.

The post holder will work directly with members and across the charity leading campaigns and programmes that help and support the communities in which we serve, drive membership growth, increase valued engagement and income opportunities, promote Mothers’ Union within the Anglican Church, and build effective relationships with external partners and organisations.

This role will lead the implementation of a suite of existing and new Britain and Ireland programmes which include domestic abuse, social justice, and family issues. Also, to look at new programmes and to manage continual programme reviews. These Mothers’ Union National Programmes are being adopted as best practice frameworks for successful community outreach projects by members in the communities in which we serve. It is envisioned that in resourcing and standardising existing work, these robust programmes will serve as vehicles for volunteer and member recruitment in dioceses in Britain and Ireland and be able to secure strategic partners and external funders to support our work.

Main responsibilities

Programme Development, Implementation and Review – Britain and Ireland

1. Work with the Director of Membership on the continued development, implementation and review of a member-informed national suite of Mothers’ Union programmes.

2. Research, review and develop new member resources, packs, and policies and manage access.

3. Work with the wider Membership team on the design, implementation, and delivery of new membership growth models.

4. Work with the Communications team on campaigns and programme branding and promotion.

5. Procure and manage relationships with programme strategic partners and funders.

Membership Engagement and Support

1. Manage relevant Communities of Interest (representative membership groups) for the different programmes.

2. Contribute campaign materials, articles, written printed and web content as required.

3. Support the membership by overseeing programme enquiries, and delivering resources, communications, webinars, podcasts, and events as required.

4. Working with the Membership Engagement Manager to ensure membership growth is reflected in the programme frameworks as an intended outcome.

5. Working with the Director of Membership and the wider membership team to deliver annual and regional events and conferences including the Annual Gathering, Provincial meetings, networking, and celebratory events.

General 

1. To manage existing national programmes; and to successfully framework and resource new MU campaigns and community outreach work into standardised, resourced and branded national programmes that are adopted and utilised by members and attract strategic partners to enhance successful outputs and increased income for the charity.
2. To work across the charity on supporting the incorporation and delivery of membership and income growth targets and initiatives in the outputs of relevant areas of work.
3. To produce and provide reports and resources as required for the Director of Membership.
4. To undertake any other duties as requested by the Head of Membership.

Homelessness continues to rise across the UK, and for many individuals experiencing it, their pet has been a vital and integral part of their life, often long before they lost their home. The bond between a person and their animal can be profound, offering emotional support, companionship, and a sense of purpose. Accessing veterinary care while living on the streets, sofa surfing or living in a hostel or temporary accommodation provider can be incredibly difficult. That’s where StreetVet comes in. We are an award-winning national charity and a registered veterinary practice with the RCVS, providing free, accessible vet care to pets belonging to those experiencing homelessness across the UK. Our dedicated team of volunteer veterinary professionals deliver essential services where support is needed. We take our experience out of the consulting room and onto the pavements to provide the same first opinion vet care you would expect to receive in a practice. 

StreetVet also works to remove barriers to accommodation and homelessness service through our Accredited Hostel and Day Centre Scheme, which helps hostels, day centres, and hubs implement positive pet policies and become pet-inclusive. This includes free veterinary care for registered pets, staff training, essential pet supplies, and access to virtual vet consultations via our telemedicine platform. The scheme empowers hostels to welcome pet owners without forcing them to choose between a roof over their head and their beloved companion.

Role Description

The Hostel & Day Centre Coordinator (North) will work closely with the Hostel and Day Centre Manager and the Coordinator (South) to ensure the effective administration and smooth day-to-day operations of the StreetVet Accredited Hostel & Day Centre Schemes. This role plays a key part in welcoming and onboarding new hostels and day centres into the network and supporting the ongoing engagement and success of existing partners. By fostering strong relationships with hostels, day centres, suppliers, and sponsors, the post holder will help build a connected and responsive community that ultimately supports more pets accessing hostels and day centres. Acting as a central point of contact, they will collaborate across internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure queries are addressed efficiently and support is delivered consistently.

As Finance Director, you will work closely and collaboratively with Amit Sharma (Artistic Director/ CEO) and Iain Goosey (Executive Director), supporting them as they lead Kiln Theatre through a period of transition and growth. NAPAC (the National Association for People Abused in Childhood) is entering an important period of growth. We are seeking an experienced Charity Administrator (Maternity Cover for CEO) to provide continuity and ensure the smooth running of CURE UK during our CEO’s maternity leave. This is a caretaker role: you will be the charity’s sole staff member, responsible for day-to-day operations, donor communications, and ongoing fundraising projects. • Part-time (c. 20 hrs/wk): The role would focus on communications, fundraising, and donor care. Finance, accounting, and governance tasks would be handled by our external Accountant partner.

Main Purpose of Role:

The Programme Support and Administrative Officer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of CFAB’s programmes and organisational functions. This role supports executive coordination, training delivery, family support administration, international social work logistics, and general office management. We’re looking for a hands-on senior infrastructure and security manager to lead and manage Breast Cancer Now’s IT infrastructure and security operations.

You’ll be responsible for migrating systems from on-premises to Microsoft Azure, modernising our infrastructure to ensure it is secure, scalable and cost-efficient. Alongside this transformation, you’ll manage day-to-day infrastructure and security operations across our hybrid environment.
In addition, you’ll also take ownership for the delivery of key governance activities including risk assessments, audits, compliance checks, vulnerability management and cyber incident response.
Working closely with the Head of IT, you’ll support the development of long-term plans while taking full ownership of technical delivery. You’ll mentor and guide engineers, but remain fully embedded in the hands-on work needed to build and maintain secure, high-quality infrastructure services.

About you

You’ll be an experienced infrastructure professional with strong hands-on expertise in designing, implementing and managing:

• Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, compute, security and monitoring)
• Networking technologies (firewalls, VPNs, LAN/WAN, DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, virtualisation)
• Enterprise security tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, XDR, MDM, IDPS)
• Backup, replication and disaster recovery solutions
• Microsoft services such as Windows Server, Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, Defender, Exchange and SharePoint

You’ll have proven experience of building infrastructure solutions end-to-end, delivering transformation projects, and maintaining secure, resilient and cost-efficient environments.
You’ll be confident working with security governance frameworks, with direct experience putting in place the day-to-day processes, controls and compliance activities needed to keep an organisation secure.
Alongside your technical skills, you’ll bring strong leadership and communication, with the ability to mentor colleagues, collaborate with stakeholders, and explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

The Opportunity 

As our Senior Evaluation Coordinator you’ll drive forward how we measure and share our organisation’s impact.

You’ll own our monitoring and evaluation framework and use this to design smart and robust ways to measure how our work creates change.

You’ll lead our annual data collection processes and cycles, collaborating with other teams to collect and share key outcomes data, both internally and externally.

From crafting data methodologies to generating insightful reporting for stakeholders, this role is ideal for someone who loves delving into data, analysing and communicating trends and working with others to make a difference.

• Shape evaluation questions and themes to explore, design the methodology, and consider data required to conduct robust analysis

• Manage the yearly impact evaluation to further the organisation’s understanding of its effect across our three interventions:

About the role

As an Experienced Practitioner, you will provide direct support and care for our young people who have complex emotional and mental health difficulties (such as trauma and loss) and can struggle to regulate their emotions.
