Age UK's Digital & Technology division is recruiting for an Asset and Dispatch Team Leader to join our customer-centric team. The Service Desk is embarking on an exciting time as we look to create lots of new processes, procedures and working practices. The Service Desk will become the Single Point of Contact for all IT related incidents and requests.

You will lead a team of Service Desk Analysts within the Warrington office, with responsibility for tasks related to operational performance and people management. You'll be involved in reviewing and updating Service Desk related processes and procedures, co-ordinating Service Desk Analyst coaching and mentoring. This role will focus on managing Age UK hardware assets across all sites.

The team will provide first touch support for all of Age UK's IT Infrastructure - including desktop, software and mobile device management and Telephony (includes Incidents, Requests and Changes). You'll work on operational and administrative activities associated with the Service Desk - including reports, account management, moves, adds, deletes and changes.

Passionate about providing a brilliant Customer Experience, you'll be proactive in monitoring call volumes, queues and data on a daily basis to help to ensure optimal ticket levels and responsible for ticket logging and allocation within the ITSM tool, setting an example on ticket management.

Data-driven, you'll carry out Service Desk reporting and trend analysis activities and play a key role in managing the Asset database and management process.

This role offers hybrid working, where you'll spend up to 3 days a week on-site in our Warrington office, plus ad-hoc cover as requested, working the rest of the time from home.

Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Our core hours are 08:00 until 19:00 with cover required on a rota basis across the Service Desk leadership team.

Must haves:

* Significant experience of operational management of a medium sized remote team on a busy Service Desk.
* Significant people management experience.
* Significant experience of working with and managing Incident Management and Request Fulfilment processes.
* Significant experience of managing hardware assets through their lifecycle (deploy, monitor, service, retire).
* Significant experience of working with an ITSM platform.
* Significant experience of working with a Telephony platform.
* Good understanding of effective Office 365 administration support.
* Good understanding of effective Active Directory/AAD support.
* Good understanding of Intune support.
* Passionate about providing a brilliant User Experience.
* Experience of working in an ITIL environment with a demonstrable knowledge of how ITSM processes are utilised to deliver an outstanding service.

Additional Information

This role is hybrid between home-based and your designated office(s) with up to 3 days a week on-site plus ad-hoc as requested by the IT Service Delivery Management team. You'll be expected to share management cover of the Service Desk 8-7 core hours rota with the Service Desk leadership team.

Occasional travel to other Age UK sites to enable performance of the duties and responsibilities and for the purposes of maintaining and updating professional skills and development.

CVAA UK is a membership organisation supporting not-for-profit adoption agencies across the UK who specialise in finding homes for children in care. Over 3000 children in the UK need adoption each year because they cannot remain at home or with family members. The CVAA Practice Programme delivers 30 or more online courses each year to those working in the sector, primarily social workers. The programme has developed a strong reputation for attracting a range of subject experts to deliver cost effective, engaging and useful training. The full programme is listed on the CVAA UK website and inlcudes topics such as LGBTQ+ parenting; therapy for children; identity formation; racism and anti-racism; parenting courses; theraplay and many more.

Due to a restructure of the team, we are now looking for a Training Manager who can oversee the administration and delivery of the programme. Initially fixed term, it is anticipated that this post will become permanent. We are keen to have someone joiun us as soon as possible.

The Training Manager will work with the Head of Practice Development to ensure that the courses are full, supported, delivered effectively and evaluated. Part of the role will also be to source new trainers and support the creation of the programme into 2025.

The CVAA team work remotely across the UK so location of the postholder is not a barrier to recruitment as long as long as they can travel occasionally and come into London for team days. o Ensure the CRM system is up to date with all Support Services information.

Support Services Events

o Lead on the development and delivery of three one day conference style events annually.  These will be held throughout the UK and will offer panel discussions and networking for our community. 

o In partnership with the wider team, occasionally represent The Foundation by running information stands, coordinating volunteers and preparing information for external events such as industry conferences.

o Where appropriate attend and present at external meetings.

o Support the management and delivery of the portfolio of online and in person events delivered by the Pituitary Foundation in conjunction with the wider team.

 Purpose of the job:

 This newly created HR Officer position will support the Head of HR in a busy HR function potential for a busy charity. The role will concentrate on the operational and administrative aspects of HR and will also act as a first line support to staff but will also provide administrative support to the Operations Manager.  There will also be an opportunity for the HR Officer to get involved in project and research work.

Our Strategy aims to enhance the effectiveness of nutrition policy and programming by improving knowledge, stimulating learning, building evidence and providing support and encouragement to practitioners and decision-makers involved in nutrition and related interventions.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the ENN team as our Management Accountant - Grants.  The role provides the opportunity to work across the spectrum of ENN’s projects, as part of the operations team. You will be based in our headquarters in Oxfordshire and will work closely with ENN’s Finance Manager and Projects Team.

 About You

Bringing your experience of third sector accounting to ENN, you will be able to communicate well with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. You will be comfortable supporting complex projects, tailoring financial management information and reports to enable decision making and assuring donor compliance and reporting requirements are met consistently.

Key responsibilities

 Grant compliance and reporting

• Financial compliance of grant spend in line with donor agreements ensuring no disallowable costs and that all allowable costs are reflected in the accounts correctly.
• Provide back up for grant financial reporting in the format required by donors for the projects team to review, collate and submit with the full donor reporting pack.
• Raise sales invoice to the donor with all back up attached and provide acknowledgement of funds letters upon receipt of cash in the bank.
• Work closely with the Finance Assistant and Projects team to ensure invoices are correctly coded to the right donor and project and complete month end reconciliations
• Input budget and quarterly reforecasts into the finance system (iplicit) and track grant performance against budgets on a regular basis providing variance analysis.
• Review and assimilate grant financial information for the Finance Manager and/or Project team as required which ultimately will be used as input in management reporting for various stakeholders (Technical budget holders, Management Team and Trustees).
• Support the organisation’s income generation ambitions, through the provision of advice, guidance and assistance, and in assisting with funding bids and budgeting and undertaking new funder/partner financial viability assessments as required.
• Maintain and update donor restricted fund balances/movements for year-end statutory reporting.
• Maintain project financial files and records for statutory audit and donor audit purposes.

Management accounting

• Prepare monthly income deferrals and income accruals and maintain month end trial balance reconciliations for management accounts.
• Capture any committed project costs to accrue.
• Apportion any interest earned from grant cash in the bank in line with donor contract terms.
• Work collaboratively with the Finance Manager on cash flow forecasting with regards to expected donor payments.
• As required by finance or the projects team, and working with iplicit, write reports in the finance system that would provide insightful and useful management information. For example, for grant monitoring and evaluation, trend analysis and assessing KPI’s etc
• Support the Finance Manager in capacity building and providing financial training to finance and non-finance staff.
• Provide ad hoc support to the Finance Manager with regards to specific financial projects, as required.
• Bank signatory for creditor payments in line with ENN’s Delegation of Authority Policy.
• Provide cover for the Finance Manager when necessary.

Essential requirements

• Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, would consider part qualified or qualified by experience)
• Experience of charity-specific accounting and grant reporting requirements
• Experience working with grant funded projects and ability to navigate and communicate compliance requirements
• Experience in developing, monitoring, and reporting against budgets
• Able to present and visualise data in different ways for different audiences
• Ability to manage a diverse and busy workload, prioritising effectively, and able to work both autonomously and as a member of a dispersed and diverse team
