As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Finance will take responsibility for day-to-day financial management, monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and strategic financial support to Huddersfield Town Foundation staff and its Board of Trustees. The role also includes taking responsibility for completion of financial returns to statutory bodies and funding partners and for driving good governance across the Foundation through review of policies, risk documentation and working practices.

We’re looking for a strategic thinker and inclusive leader — someone with senior finance experience, ideally within the charity sector — who can promote a culture of strong financial control and attention to detail and will inspire our teams, drive innovation, and embed our Terrier Spirit values in everything we do.

This role reflects our commitment to growth and impact. With a team of 26 staff and a turnover of £1.2m, the Foundation is entering a new chapter. The Board has ambitious plans, and we need resilient, imaginative, and values-led leaders to help us deliver on our mission to empower OUR TOWN to thrive.

About the Role

As Witness Service Head of Volunteering, you will:

• Create and deliver a Witness Service mobilisation plan delivering the mobilisation project outcomes within the Witness Service volunteering strand.
• Develop and implement a volunteering strategy aligned to organisational and mobilisation priorities inclusive of diversity and equity goals.
• Update operational frameworks and formal volunteer policies.
• Manage risks and issues related to volunteering.
• Communicate and engage with volunteers regarding the transition to Victim Support.
• Design and implement recruitment and onboarding strategies reflecting community diversity.
• Lead and manage the volunteering mobilisation team, providing strategic direction, coaching, and development.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and operational teams to embed volunteering into service delivery and organisational culture.

It's an exciting time to join the fundraising team at Prostate Cancer UK as we deliver on a new strategy. We've seen an upward trend in our fundraising income over the last decade and we're anticipating further growth in the next five years. We're introducing new roles to transform how we work and intentionally integrate our individual giving with our work across fundraising, brand and health awareness. The National Society for Education is seeking an inspiring and visionary leader to head its Growing Faith and Young Leaders workstream - a strategic post within our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The role of Head of Legal reports to the Director of Legal & Governance and you will assist them in ensuring the legal function of the organisation runs efficiently, smoothly and that we proactively identify and address legal risk and development needs.

Overview of the role

As the organisation’s Head of Fundraising and Marketing, you will be an experienced, ambitious, enthusiastic, and dynamic professional, who is passionate about fundraising and maximising income generation.

2. Fundraising and income generation

· Drive the development of diverse income streams, including major donor fundraising, corporate partnerships,                         individual giving, legacies, lotteries, community fundraising and events.

· Proactively seek new opportunities to secure long-term, multi-year funding through well-targeted funding applications           and corporate proposals.

· Build strong partner relationships with a focus on stewardship, retention, and growth.

· Monitor performance, analyse data, and drive continuous improvement.

· Chair the Fundraising sub-committee and contribute to the Data, Impact and Evidence Action Group

· Responsible for completion of all bids, grants and funding applications and ensuring that funders receive appropriate             ongoing feedback.
 

3. Marketing and communications

· Develop marketing materials and campaigns that effectively communicate the charity’s mission, vision and                             achievements to various audiences for both The Mix and 127 Trading Ltd.

· Lead the management of digital platforms, ensuring consistent and inspiring content across all channels, including the           website, social media, email and printed materials.

· Ensure that brand messaging is consistent, clear and aligned across The Mix and 127 Trading Ltd to enhance public             recognition and reputation.

· Grow awareness of the charity at a local and regional level, monitoring success through market research.

· Develop compelling narratives and stories of the charity’s impact to engage partners and encourage continued                     support.

4. Team leadership and development

· Lead and develop the Fundraising & Marketing team, fostering a collaborative and positive culture.

· Mentor and support team members in achieving their professional development goals, ensuring they attain business             objectives.

· Regularly monitor and review team performance to meet income generation and communication objectives.

5. Operational excellence

· Ensure compliance with data protection laws, fundraising regulations and ethical guidelines across all fundraising and           marketing activities.

· Review and improve the use of the website and develop systems to track donor engagement, monitor income and                 ensure data integrity and transparency.

· Work closely with finance and operations teams to oversee the management and monitoring of fundraising targets.

The Mix Stowmarket Ltd. is an established youth charity working with young people across Mid Suffolk. Overview of the role

As the organisation’s Head of Finance and Data, you will be an experienced, and trusted professional, who can bring strong financial and data disciplines to the organisation.

Working closely with our new CEO and committed trustees and staff, you will develop and implement The Mix’s financial and data strategies that are aligned to our vision to expand the reach of our crucial support of young people in Suffolk.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Partnerships and Development to lead and drive our growth, ensuring the long-term sustainability and expansion of our work.
