About the role
Reporting to the Director of Housing, we are looking for a Head of Maintenance and Estates to lead on the effective delivery of an efficient and customer focused maintenance and estate service across our properties within SIG. Managing a small team, you will focus on management and leadership activities to empower staff to achieve high quality results in the service. You will take oversight of the Maintenance and Estates function, to ensure the smooth running of upkeep and repair operations, working with various teams internally and externally to build sustainable working relationships.

About you
We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in managing similar repairs and estates services and who is able to lead a team to be empowered to provide a high-quality service. You will be able to to develop and implement maintenance plans, strategies, and procedures, and have confidence to take ownership of your department, making key decisions.
- Management and leadership experience, including with direct line of reports and indirect
- Experience in developing and implementing formal maintenance plans, strategies, and procedures with a key eye to detail
- Experience in directing and delivering customer service functions, ideally in a repairs and maintenance or cleaning context

Reporting to the Director of Property Services, you will lead multiple improvement projects across our diverse housing stock. Additional responsibilities in the role of Head of Reinvestment and Sustainability:

Centre Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business centre, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained, compliant, and running smoothly.

About World Physiotherapy: World Physiotherapy is a leading international professional association and UK Registered Charity. The role: World Physiotherapy is seeking a dynamic and experienced development programme manager to lead and manage our portfolio of development projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term projects or a series of long-term projects, with the aim of advancing global physiotherapy practice.
Key responsibilities:
· Project leadership: Plan, manage and evaluate international development projects (25–40% travel)
· Cross‑functional collaboration: Align programmes with events and membership activities; partner with marketing, finance and HR
· Fundraising and reporting: Draft grant applications; compile narrative and financial reports to funders
· Risk and compliance: Conduct risk assessments; ensure adherence to internal policies and donor regulations
· Communications: Develop project updates; represent World Physiotherapy at global forums
Requirements:
· Degree in public health, international development, social sciences or related field; project management qualification desirable
· 5+ years’ experience managing international development or capacity‑building projects
· Strong grant‑writing, report‑writing and stakeholder‑management skills
· Proven ability to multi‑task, work under pressure and drive cross‑team collaboration
· Familiarity with donor compliance, risk management and low‑resource contexts
· Fluent English; additional language (eg French, Spanish) a plus

Turn2us is a national charity tackling financial insecurity and its structural causes. We work with co-producers and partners to provide people in financial crisis with the means and agency to get back on their feet, build resilience, move forward with their lives and thrive.
Turn2us and its partners have secured £1.5 million from The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver an ambitious and innovative new programme that will support charities in England and Scotland to empower diverse and marginalised communities to respond to climate change and to get their voices heard in environmental policy and media debates.It will focus on Disabled people, those facing financial insecurity and people from ethnic minority communities. These voices are often the least heard from in national and local debates on our environment. This new work aims to change that.
As part of this programme, The National Lottery Community Fund have funded the creation of an Engagement Manager post at Turn2us to work with those facing financial insecurity. The Engagement Manager employed by Turn2us will deliver activity with smaller charities and grassroots organisations supporting those facing financial insecurity that:
- Increases awareness of the impact of environmental change and related policy on different communities
- Listens to people in these communities to find out what actions they want charities and local government to take
- Develops shared local environmental policy priorities and empowers these organisations to advocate directly to local and national policy makers
- Identifies actions that these organisations can take to support communities to respond to climate change, and helps organisations to implement them
- Identifies people with lived experience to receive hands on training in order to act as diverse champions to media and policy makers
They will work closely with Community Engagement Managers employed by Disability Rights UK, and Race Equality Foundation, focussed on reaching organisations supporting Disabled people and people from ethnic minority communities.
We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month on a weekly basis.
Some roles may be required to be in the office more often than others and this will be agreed with the hiring manager upon starting at Turn2us.

In this key role, you’ll work with local teams to plan, manage and oversee both proactive and reactive maintenance projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, professionally, on time, and within budget. You’ll also advise and support colleagues with property-related matters, from compliance and safety to improving sustainability and service delivery.
You’ll manage contractors, support health and safety compliance, lead minor refurbishments, and oversee maintenance budgets. Where appropriate, you’ll also line manage site-based facilities staff and play an active role in driving improvements and ensuring our estate presents the best face of Blue Cross.
We’re looking for someone with strong project management skills, sound technical knowledge of building maintenance and compliance, and the ability to build positive working relationships across a dispersed organisation. You'll be customer-focused, well-organised, budget-conscious, and motivated to make a difference to the environments where we care for pets and people.
You will be needing to occasionally travel to our veterinary hospitals in Victoria, Hammersmith, Merton and Grimsby.

This will enable the further implementation of Salesforce as the charity’s CRM, focusing on the project management and finance functions of operation, transforming efficiency and reducing administrative strain. This will be achieved by creating the position of Technical Project Lead to project manage and oversee implementation of Salesforce; increasing capacity in the finance team by appointing a Finance Manager; and implementing new cloud-based financial accounting software to work alongside Salesforce. The Director of Finance & Operations will direct, administer and coordinate the financial, governance, HR, IT and operational activities of the charity in accordance with company policies and the Strategic Plan established by the Chief Executive (CE) and the Board of Trustees, and to assure the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the planning, delivery and reporting of these activities.
Salary: £46,000-£51,000 per annum depending on experience.
