About you

You have a  passion for nature conservation and want to see more scaled up and urgent global action for plants and fungi. You will have some level of botanical knowledge and experience in the global conservation or environment sector, with the ability to work cross-culturally and effectively engage with key stakeholder and partners. This will include working with our existing partners and those in the Global IPA network (GIPAN).
You will be able to demonstrate good programme development and management skills, have some knowledge of capacity building through e.g., training and knowledge and skill sharing, and can confidently build a programme of work that integrates locally led action into conservation activities.
This role offers the opportunity to develop and implement a programme of work that has a critical role in protecting and restoring wild plants and fungi and to promote sustainable and ethical conservation practices globally.

About the role

Plantlife pioneered the development of the Important Plant Area (IPA) criteria to identify the best sites of international significance for wild plant diversity – there are now 3,000 globally. These sites have rare and threatened plant species, exceptional botanical richness and threatened habitats. Once identified, IPAs help to target conservation actions and sustainable management of plants.
Plantlife has continued to be a proud advocate of the IPA programme and expanding the network of IPAs and increasing the delivery of management and actions at these sites are now key priorities of the Global Programme’s five-year plan. This has created an exciting opportunity to join the Global team in a new role – Global Important Plant Area Manager – to shape and oversee the strategic development of the IPA programme.
Working with the Head of Global, the postholder will be responsible for strengthening and expanding the IPA programme, building capacity (e.g., through training) and working with partners (e.g., Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew) to increase the number of IPAs identified. The role will also help to support the global plan of delivering more conservation action across IPAs, focusing on a “whole of society” approach.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Capital Project Manager to play a pivotal role in the transformation and development of our school estate. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated estates team and drive the delivery of our ambitious three-year strategic priorities, ensuring exceptional service and outcomes for our schools.

Reporting  to the Head of Estates and Projects, you will lead the planning, procurement, and execution of capital developments across our estate. MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Your responsibilities will include

• Project management of the priority, delivery, and budgets of the School Condition Allocation (SCA) projects from inception to end of defects.
• Project management and supporting the management of the condition and maintenance of the school estate, including the asset management processes
• Project management of the capital elements of academy conversion projects
• Planning, implementation, procurement, and delivery of a high-quality service in relation to all estate and projects work
• Managing and monitoring external technical advisors, and third party suppliers and consultants employed directly by Harris Federation
• Managing H&health and safety through the lifecycle of all projects
• Managing the consultations, admissions, branding, marketing, FF&E and uniform of all new schools
• Providing professional services to the individual schools and ensuring the Federation complies with relevant property legislation, regulations and guidance
• Assisting with the development of policies and procedures concerning the Harris Federation estate
• Assisting with the framework for all estates related statutory elements, including oversight of the implementation and reporting of audits

We have three refuges in Bexley, which provide emergency accommodation to women and children fleeing domestic abuse and sexual violence. We are there for women at a time of crisis and help families take their first steps to freedom and recovery.

We exist to end the harm done through gender-based violence. Our aim is to work to prevent violence and abuse, as well as providing services to meet the individual needs of survivors, particularly women and children. Our work is holistic and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives, free from abuse.

About the Role

You will provide advice and support to women who have experienced domestic abuse in a refuge setting, across two sites. You will carry out risk and needs assessments, develop support plans and carry out key work with women survivors. You should have a minimum of two years’ experience of working with this or a similar client group. An in depth understanding of the needs of women and children from a diverse background is essential.

As part of both roles, one of the job posts will be located in one refuge, with the other job post located across three refuges.

About You

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support to victims of domestic and sexual violence.

You will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan and support them in linking with other agencies.

You will have a working knowledge of the available legal remedies, housing and welfare benefits, as well as experience of providing workshops.

Outside of this, you will have excellent administrative and time management skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload.

We’re looking for a Carer Assessment Service Manager to lead our countywide team in delivering statutory and preventative assessments in line with the Care Act 2014. You’ll provide leadership and day-to-day support to your team, oversee assessment allocations, and manage referrals through our internal CRM and West Sussex County Council’s systems.

You’ll also deliver staff supervisions, attend management and partner meetings, contribute to training, and support service development projects. The Role

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising (2 days per week)

Trusts, Foundations and Statutory Funding

• Conduct research and develop profiles on prospective trusts and statutory funders

• Draft briefing notes and maintain an up-to-date prospect pipeline

• Assist with preparation of Arts Council England reporting

Collaborating closely with internal teams, external partners, and academic institutions, the Evidence and Impact team drives continuous improvement, innovation, and organisational learning. They also build data literacy and analytical capabilities across the organisation through training and professional development initiatives, strengthening Rethink’s evidence-based approach to improving mental health outcomes.

How you will make a difference

This role supports the organisation through a strong focus on business intelligence, data collation, and analytics. It plays a critical part in ensuring contract compliance through the development of effective systems and supporting quality improvement. The role involves contract reporting and the preparation of PowerBI dashboards, apps, reports, and presentations to inform strategic decision-making.

Key areas of focus include Criminal Justice, Peer Support Groups, People Analytics, Fundraising, Finance, and Risk and Governance. The postholder will work across these domains to provide clear insights and contribute to organisational learning and development.

Working hours for this role are flexible. It is a home-based position, but we value in-person collaboration, so some travel will be required to main office locations (primarily London) and occasional visits to services across the UK.

• To provide support to the HR People Partners on broader ER issues, if necessary, such as absence management/OH referrals, performance management/PIPs.

• To develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures and guidance documents, ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
• Manage the appraisal process including launch communications, monitoring completions and reviewing forms for any ER issues and logging training needs.
• Lead the annual staff survey launch and collation and analysis of data.
• To cover for the Director of HR and other team members as required.
