Overall job purpose

Our Health and Safety Officer will help us embed, maintain, and develop high standards of Health and Safety, across CCT’s whole estate and its people. They will work closely with our small Health and Safety Team to create, implement, and establish our Health and Safety policies and procedures, in accordance with current legislation. They will advocate for, and set an example around, best practice in Health and Safety.

We have recently published our TRUST values, which outline the behaviours and expectations that act as our foundations at CCT. We have attached the pack, outlining each value, which we will also be using as part of our shortlisting and interview process to find the right candidates that align with our values.

This hybrid role means that you’ll not only benefit from the collaboration and teamwork that comes from working in our city-centre based Bristol office but also combine this with the flexibility and focused productivity of home working. The modern regional office is located within a eighteenth century church and is only 10mins walk from Bristol Temple Meads.

We are looking for a proactive, compassionate, organised and collaborative individual who has a passion for supporting and empowering women in their employment journeys.  

The South London Service Delivery Executive will play a key role in both the South London Centre and the wider Service Delivery Team across London. They will support with the smooth running of our service, create a welcoming atmosphere for all clients, volunteers and visitors and ensure that there is strong consistency and quality across every aspect of the service we deliver. 

The Service Delivery Executive will often be the first point of contact a client will have with Smart Works, providing administrative, phone and booking support for clients across London and beyond. The role requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication skills and a drive to ensure all women who visit us have the best possible experience.

About the role:

Do you enjoy being the welcoming face of a service, keeping things running smoothly and creating a safe, organised environment for young people? We’re looking for Day Concierges to join our Young People’s Accommodation Pathway in Lewisham and Greenwich, supporting young people aged 16 to 25 to settle, grow in independence and move towards their next home.

This is a key front of house role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, visitors and partners, helping to create a calm, professional and supportive atmosphere across the service. Working closely with duty staff, you’ll play a central role in the day to day running of the building, from managing access and handling enquiries to keeping things safe, organised and welcoming for everyone who walks through the door.

In our Greenwich services, you’ll work across multiple sites within the pathway, moving between services as needed and building strong relationships with different teams and clients. You’ll also take the lead on health and safety, voids and maintenance processes, helping to ensure our spaces are safe, well maintained and ready for young people to move into.

The Greenwich role follows a rolling rota of 9am to 19:30pm, across 3 to 4 days per week, including weekends every other week.

We’re looking for a talented Challenge Events Fundraiser to join our team in delivering our ambitious events strategy. This role is vital as we continue to develop incredible relationships with new and existing supporters helping them to network, influence and fundraise via challenge events. 

Through excellent supporter care and stewardship, the Challenge Events Fundraiser is required to increase income for our challenge events portfolio. Working with the Challenge Events Manager, the post holder will deliver the events strategy as well as contribute to its ongoing development.

To succeed in this role you’ll need to:
• Develop and grow networks of event supporters, volunteers and community organisations to increase participation in fundraising events and generate sustainable income for the charity.
• Deliver an effective supporter journey, providing high-quality stewardship which motivates and enables supporters to complete successful fundraising activities within their communities.
• Support the delivery of the charity’s event fundraising strategy, working closely with the Challenge Events Manager to achieve agreed income targets.
• Plan, coordinate and evaluate key challenge events within the fundraising calendar (e.g. Abseil, London Marathon, Great Birmingham Run), ensuring successful delivery and supporter experience.
• Act as a visible ambassador for the charity’s events programme, building and maintaining strong relationships with supporters, community groups and partners.
• Ensure all fundraising activity is delivered in line with relevant legislation, including UK charity law and Fundraising Regulator guidance.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the charity and wider organisation, providing support and cover where required to ensure the effective delivery of fundraising activities.
• Work with internal teams to develop and deliver engaging fundraising products and events, ensuring effective donor stewardship and supporter engagement.

Job Location: Belfast (Hybrid)

Concern UK operates a flexible hybrid working policy, which can be a mix of home and office working. However, due to the nature of this role, the post‑holder may be required to attend the Belfast office more frequently and travel to meet corporate partners, donors, and attend networking or external events.

Our Belfast office is located in an historic building in a lively area, close to the Ulster University Belfast campus, cafés, restaurants, shops, and excellent transport links. The building is full of character, blending historic charm with modern, flexible workspaces designed for collaboration and creativity.

Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the UK at the time of application.

Belfast: £46,140 to £51,267, based on full time hours (35 hours per week)

New employees will normally start at the minimum of the pay band, with scope for progression over time.

The successful post holder will be required to complete a criminal records self-declaration form and a Basic AccessNI check.

Location: Multi-Faith Centre, University of Derby. 
Salary: £40 000 (full-time equivalent or prorata according to agreed hours).

About the Role 

The Head of the MultiFaith Centre provides leadership, and operational management to ensure the centre is an inclusive, welcoming, and impactful space for people of all faiths and none.

This is a leadership role with genuine ownership. You will shape long-term direction, safeguard financial sustainability and represent the charity with authority, working closely with Board and Committees.You will oversee the operational delivery of the centre, ensuring plans translate into measurable progress.

Community partnerships are integral to the Multi-Faith Centre, and you will be required to maintain, strengthen and build partnerships across communities. To further the work of the Multi-Faith Centre, you will develop initiatives that promote spiritual wellbeing, interfaith connection and respectful dialogue.

A key element of the role is securing sustainable funding. As Head of the Multi-Faith Centre you will plan, identify and lead on bid writing, grant applications and income generation activities.

The breadth of the role requires energy, sound judgement and disciplined prioritisation. You will move confidently between strategy and execution, diplomacy and decision-making, commercial focus and sector representation. The role is visible and carries real responsibility and offers meaningful and lasting impact. 

Key Responsibilities 

Leadership 

• Provide direction for the Multi-Faith Centre, ensuring alignment with organisational values and priorities. 

• Enable effective governance through strong relationships with the Board, Committees and key stakeholders. 

• Develop and implement annual and longterm business plans. 

• Foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and collaboration across all faith communities. 

• Act as the public face of the Multi-Faith Centre, representing it at events, networks, and stakeholder meetings. 

Operational Management 

• Oversee the delivery of multifaith activities, events, pastoral support, and educational programmes. 

• Ensure the Multi-Faith Centre remains a safe, well-managed, and welcoming environment for staff, volunteers, and visitors. 

• Lead the recruitment, development, and supervision of staff and volunteers. 

• Maintain effective governance, compliance, safeguarding, health & safety, and risk management practices. 

Partnership and Community Engagement 

• Build strong, trusting relationships with faith leaders, community organisations, university students, staff, and external partners. 

• Promote interfaith dialogue, understanding, and collaboration through events, workshops, and outreach initiatives. 

• Represent the Multi-Faith Centre in local, regional, and national networks relating to faith, wellbeing, and social impact. 

Funding, Bid Writing and Income Generation 

• Lead on researching, writing, and submitting high quality funding bids to charitable trusts, foundations, and public bodies. 

• Identify new funding opportunities to support strategic initiatives and longterm sustainability. 

• Develop income generating activities aligned with the Multi- Faith Centre’s mission. 

• Monitor grant compliance, reporting, and impact measurement. 

• Build strong relationships with funders and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and accountability. 

Financial and Resource Management 

• Strengthen financial sustainability and support the continued success of the Multi- Faith Centre. 

• Drive revenue growth and secure funding opportunities. 

• Manage the Multi-Faith Centre’s budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. 

• Lead on procurement, contracts, and financial reporting. 

• Ensure excellent stewardship of all grants and donations. 

Person Specification 

Essential Skills and Experience 

• A strategic thinker, you will have strong leadership and people management experience, setting clear direction and maintaining organisational alignment. 

• Financial literacy, including budget planning and monitoring. 

• Demonstrable success in grant writing/bid writing and securing external funding. 

• Strong understanding of multifaith engagement, inclusion, and community cohesion. 

• Excellent communication, relationship building, and stakeholder engagement skills, inspiring trust and partnership working. 

• Report writing and presentation skills to different audience groups, spanning community groups and board level.

• With proven experience of leading programmes or services you will take a collaborative approach within community, faith-based, educational, or wellbeing setting. 

• Empathetic, culturally sensitive, and respectful of diverse faith traditions and worldviews. 

Desirable Skills and Experience 

• Experience working in charitable and/or higher education sectors. 

• Knowledge of safeguarding, wellbeing, and pastoral support frameworks. 

• Experience delivering community-led programmes or social impact initiatives.
