As a senior member of the Philanthropy Operations team, you'll lead the charge by embedding intelligence-led thinking across the directorate-driving innovation, performance, and long-term donor engagement. From prospect development and portfolio management to deep analytics and strategic planning, your leadership will be instrumental in delivering transformational gifts and campaign success.

This role also plays a central part in delivering our ambitious £400 million More Research, Less Cancer campaign-accelerating life-saving cancer research and unlocking transformational gifts for Cancer Research UK.

What will I be doing?

• Provide strategic leadership to the Prospect Development and Insight & Reporting teams, shaping their direction, plans, and delivery.

• Deliver proactive insight, analysis, and intelligence to inform decision-making and strengthen strategic development.

• Oversee the annual business planning process, ensuring robust monitoring, delivery, and evaluation frameworks.

• Partner with fundraising leadership to support portfolio and performance management, including oversight of top donor relationships.

• Partner with senior leaders across the directorate to develop, refine, and implement strategic plans, ensuring intelligence and insight are embedded throughout.

• Oversee and champion the directorate-wide embedding of the new CRM (Salesforce), ensuring business readiness and alignment with future growth.

• Support the development of infrastructure to enable international fundraising expansion in line with CRUK's evolving Global Strategy.

Night Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.

Lumos is an international children’s charity founded in 2005 by the author J.K. Rowling to end the harmful practice of institutionalisation of children. JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Advisor, PPLE is a key role responsible for successfully delivering Lumos’ strategy on safe and meaningful engagement of children, young people, families and caregivers. Considering the cross-cutting nature of participation, the post-holder will work across teams to ensure PPLE is mainstreamed throughout the organisation, strengthening Lumos’ internal capacity and approaches to meaningful participation. They will ensure that Lumos programmes demonstrate innovative and transferrable approaches to participation, and that people with lived experience are meaningfully involved in national, regional and global advocacy and campaigning, as well as within Lumos’ internal governance.  

The Senior Advisor will oversee implementation of Lumos’ newly-developed PPLE Strategy – working in partnership with people with lived experience, PPLE Focal Points in Lumos’s four country offices, and other key colleagues. They will supervise and guide the work of PPLE across country teams and Lumos’s central function to develop and deliver high-quality and effective projects that achieve the objectives of the PPLE strategy.  

The post holder will also work with Global Advocacy, Communications and Fundraising colleagues and country teams to ensure that people with lived experience are well represented in national, regional and global campaigns and initiatives that inform child rights and care reform policy and programming. They will identify and cultivate relationships with relevant stakeholders in the care and related sectors, including with existing national, regional and global networks of care-experienced children and young people, to strengthen partnerships and collaboration around PPLE. The post holder will work hand-in-hand with safeguarding colleagues, acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the PPLE workstream, to ensure Lumos has, and is implementing, appropriate systems to facilitate safe and ethical PPLE that is compliant with data protection protocols. The Senior PPLE Advisor will contribute to fundraising, participating in proposal development, reporting to donors and other related activities. 

KEY OBJECTIVES

• Provide technical leadership on PPLE and oversee the implementation of Lumos’ new PPLE Strategy – working in partnership with people with lived experience, PPLE Focal Points, key staff including in Lumos country offices and external partners including participatory networks and associations. 
• Strengthen Lumos’ internal capacity and approaches to meaningful participation of children, youth, parents and caregivers 
• Ensure that participation of children, young people, parents and caregivers is embedded as a cross-cutting priority throughout the organisation’s projects and programmes 
• Develop an annual strategic plan for PPLE for 2026 and ensure PPLE is included and aligned across the plans, strategies, and projects of other Programmes teams 
• Provide supervision, coordination and capacity-building to the PPLE team, which comprises PPLE Focal Points across Lumos’ four country offices, including setting and implementing objectives, deliverables and KPIs that will motivate the team and achieve ambitious results, and monitor and track progress 
• Ensure coordination and engagement between PPLE Focal Points and organisational leadership 
• Lead on the development of country programme PPLE strategies in line with Lumos’ 2024-7 strategy, alongside PPLE Focal Points and programmes teams.
• Manage the PPLE budget to ensure objectives are met, high quality deliverables are achieved, and budgets are utilised effectively; potential of managing future PPLE grants and programmes depending on priorities 
• Collaborate with the fundraising and Programme teams to develop all project proposals with the Participation of People with Lived Experience embedded throughout, including direct engagement of People with Lived Experience in drafting proposals when appropriate  
• Develop high-quality reports, quarterly, annual, or other for both internal and external audiences, including donors, in collaboration with relevant teams and support positive relationships with stakeholders 
• Represent PPLE at a senior level internally and externally, including in meetings, working groups and committees as needed
• Build and nurture relationships with relevant stakeholders in the care reform and other connected sectors, to secure opportunities for the participation and meaningful involvement of people with lived experience 
• Oversee training and capacity building of people with lived experience so they can participate in care reform implementation initiatives and in decisions that affect their lives 
• Work with advocacy and communications colleagues to ensure that people with lived experience are well represented in regional and global campaigns, events and initiatives that inform child rights and care reform policy and programming. Advocate for and facilitate their inclusion in a meaningful, genuine and non-tokenistic manner 
• Co-ordinate the planning and delivery of external and internal participation events and activities, at national, regional or international level, for example Lumos’ participatory groups, working closely with Advocacy, Communications and other relevant teams.  
• Promote opportunities for young people to be more actively and meaningfully involved in all areas of Lumos’ work, including organisational governance, in line with Lumos’ strategy 2024-27 and the PPLE Strategy. Lead on the coordination of a Lumos Global Youth Advisory Board in close collaboration with the PPLE Focal Points and other relevant teams.
• Lead the development of training and capacity building to teams across Lumos, including ELT, to promote and enable a mainstreamed approach to PPLE 
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the participation function, working closely with safeguarding colleagues and PPLE Focal Points, to ensure Lumos has, and is implementing, appropriate systems to facilitate safe and ethical PPLE that is compliant with relevant organisational policies, including the Safeguarding Policy and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Policy, and with relevant data protection protocols

SLRA is a well-established local migrant support organisation working with and for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants who are at risk or in crisis because of immigration issues. We provide specialist immigration advice as well as a broad range of practical, social and therapeutic support services. We also campaign for a fairer immigration system, involving local people with lived experience in influencing local and national policy and practice.

Our specialist Youth Service provides holistic, one to one casework and a programme of activities and trips. Dravet Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a small independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that affects around one in every 15,000 people in the UK. As well as experiencing severe, difficult-to-control seizures, children and adults with Dravet Syndrome have varying degrees of intellectual disability and a spectrum of associated conditions (known as ‘comorbidities’), which may include autism, ADHD, behaviours that challenge and difficulties with speech, mobility, eating and sleep.

The charity was founded in October 2008 by a small group of 30 families. Today, DSUK is a registered charity helping over 550 families with support, education, and research programmes, underpinned by a world-class Medical Advisory Board.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Animal Equality’s campaigns have driven Parliamentary debates, legal victories, policy shifts, corporate commitments, mainstream media coverage, and inspired thousands of individuals to change their diets.

We are seeking a creative, driven, and strategic Campaigns Coordinator to deliver our current high-impact campaigns with a view to exposing the cruel animal agriculture industries, influencing decision-makers, and mobilising the public to create lasting change for farmed animals.

Working closely with team members, the Campaigns Coordinator will design and deliver imaginative campaigns while working in alignment with the organisation’s wider mission: to end factory farming. The role requires initiative, creativity, tenacity, and a solutions-focused mindset, as well as the discipline to execute projects effectively and professionally.

The Campaigns Coordinator will report to the Campaigns and Public Affairs Manager and work closely with others across our UK and international teams. You will play a key role in coordinating and inspiring volunteers and external stakeholders.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Campaign delivery: Drive Animal Equality’s high-impact campaigns, bringing the plight of farmed animals into the public consciousness. Plan, coordinate, and implement imaginative and effective campaign actions that influence policy-makers, businesses, philanthropists, and the public. Produce clear, compelling, and engaging campaign resources.
• Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, experts, regulators, allied organisations, and members of the public to strengthen campaign outcomes.
• Volunteer mobilisation: Grow and energise our Animal Protectors network through training, regular newsletter communication, and opportunities for online and in-person action.
• Peaceful protest coordination: Organise creative, non-violent demonstrations and direct actions that advance campaign objectives and attract media coverage.
• Research and uncovering malpractice: Conduct desk-based research, including FOI requests and collaboration with academics, to uncover questionable industry and regulatory practices, and inform evidence-based campaigns.
• Uncover scandals through desk-based research: Using Freedom of Information requests, conducting research, working with academics, and liaising with concerned members of the public, support the release of exposés that demonstrate the reality of animal agriculture.
• Media generation: Work with Animal Equality’s Marketing and Communications teams to design noteworthy content, ensure strong campaign narratives, and maximise media exposure.

Assist with the development of content for our website, social media, YouTube and other platforms to successfully share plans and updates in relation to Animal Equality’s campaign priorities.

About the role:

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Drive Data Team Manager and Senior Managers within the Drive Partnership to ensure data and reporting remains rigorous and robust, and informs recommendations across the Drive Programme and partners. You will do this by taking a lead role on the ongoing data collection, analysis, research design and delivery of our work across the Drive Programme workstreams.  The Senior Data Analyst will also act as a liaison between data teams within Respect and Safelives where there is identified workstreams that cross over. 

The Senior Data Analyst will manage the Drive Data Analysts to ensure high quality data collection, reporting, quality assurance, analysis, and maintenance of Drive programme data, including data collected via the projects Case Management Systems you will use data and information to influence policy and inform practitioners, commissioners, and government about the sector. • Experience of analysing and drawing meaning from large quantitative data sets, including the advanced use of Excel

This is a new role at Befriending Networks, as we seek someone who is up for the challenge of fundraising to support the continuation of our work in supporting the network of befriending organisations and ensuring that meaningful social connection is available to all.

The role will work closely with the CEO to deliver a fundraising strategy, which will focus on trusts, grant-givers, and corporate collaborations across the UK.

Role Purpose:

The Helpline Advisor will be the first point of contact for individuals reporting incidents of anti-Muslim hate. The role requires delivering empathetic, confidential, and high-quality support to callers, as well as accurately recording reports and ensuring all relevant procedures are followed.

Helpline Advisors will support service users via multiple channels—phone, email, SMS, online chat and web form, by listening actively, offering appropriate information, and making referrals to specialist services where required. They will work closely with the Helpline Supervisor and participate in debriefs and reflective practice after each shift or reported incident.

Advisors will also play an important role in ensuring accurate data capture, safeguarding procedures, and upholding the values of compassion, non-judgement, and confidentiality.

Role Responsibilities: 

• Answer incoming calls from victims of hate crime with empathy and professionalism.
   

• Provide support to service users using a variety of methods, including telephone, email, SMS, online chat, online forms, and other written reports.
   

• Provide clear, appropriate advice, support, and information to service users, using a non-judgemental and person-centred approach.
   

• Keep accurate, detailed electronic records of each contact, including advice given, support offered, and agreed referrals.
   

• Understand when it is necessary to seek support from more experienced colleagues or external agencies and take appropriate action.
   

• Make referrals to other agencies when necessary, including child and adult protection concerns, on the advice of senior staff.
