We are looking for a Rent and Housing Administrator to join our small, dispersed Rent Team within Housing and Property Services.

In delivering this role, you will provide a highly responsible administrative service to our colleagues who manage property payment (rent/arrears) collections, lease/housing management and compliance delivery within the organisation.

You will ensure that all internal systems hold accurate and up to date for;

• Rent/former arrears accounts
• Lease and Housing Management information
• Resident information
• Property and Compliance data

This is a dynamic role where you will work closely, building effective communication links across the Asset and Housing Management Team and the Finance Team to enable proactive and effective information posting and up to date property/compliance information.

In addition, you will support the wider Asset Management Team within administrative and system related tasks and work flexibly where necessary to attend team meetings and liaise with colleagues which may include traveling to YMCA DLG sites.

The Independent Living Medication Support Service (ILMSS) in Lambeth is a community-based floating support service designed for adults with primary mental health needs and often dual diagnoses.

The service aims to help individuals stay well, avoid hospitalisation, and live independently in the community. The service provides one-to-one support in customer's homes to build awareness, routines, and skills for medication management. Furthermore, it aims to support customers with housing, benefits, and social issues through short-term interventions.

As Service Manager for the Lambeth ILMS service, you will lead a dynamic team delivering floating support to 105 customers and medication support to 35 customers across the borough. Leadership and competence development in direct reports is a key responsibility of the role. Post-holders may also carry client group specialism responsibilities, linking in with other Managers and Head of Services to ensure focused integration of specialisms across the whole organisation.

The working pattern for this role is primarily Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional requirements for weekend and out-of-hours work to meet service needs.

The Operations Administrator will work closely with the broader Operations team to provide centralised communication and administrative support, and effective coordination across all aspects of the work of the Operations team.

Key responsibilities:

Communications:

Centralised administration:

About You

The Role

You will also work to increase the availability of protective factors and support networks through encouraging and supporting participation in education and activities.  This will include working with existing youth provision to develop and deliver session plan around healthy relationships, honour-based violence and safety planning to embed knowledge and skills within our young people.

About this key role

As our Caseworker, you will provide a comprehensive and holistic assessment which links arrest to accessing community support, bringing police custody and community together in collaboration to support and or divert women from further offending.  This will involve delivering an outreach service that includes advocating on behalf of women, providing a practical service that will include supporting access to drug and alcohol treatment services, health services, community services, learning support and addressing the importance of healthy relationships. 

We will also rely on you to provide consistent intensive support that positively enables women to engage effectively with other community-based professionals to build a wider diverse support network and to undertake assessments and produce action and risk management plans for clients. Developing effective relationships with all relevant agencies, building an understanding of key referral routes, actively promoting good partnerships, and sourcing and developing joint working opportunities at all levels of the project is also a key duty.

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Volunteer Co-Ordinator to support, inspire and empower our volunteers, branches, and affiliated groups to take action for nature. This role requires someone who is a people-person, great at building relationships, an excellent administrator, and confident with IT.

This is a flexible, hybrid role with at least one day in the office in Shrewsbury each week and travel within Shropshire. 

The Volunteer Co-Ordinator is responsible for ensuring that volunteers have a fulfilling and rewarding experience during their time with SWT. They will look after the whole volunteer journey; helping volunteers find the right role, building their skills and knowledge, celebrating their achievements, and ensuring they feel like a valued part of the team.

We’re looking for those who have:

·Confidence with IT, especially Microsoft programmes, and are comfortable picking up new systems.

·Excellent administration skills, have worked with databases, and have great attention to detail.

·A personal connection to nature and believe that connecting others to nature plays a key role in addressing the climate and ecological crises.

·Experience managing volunteers throughout their journey, including recruitment, onboarding, ongoing training and development, and a good understanding of health and safety requirements.

·A good understanding of what motivates people to volunteer and how to create a great volunteer experience.

·A proven ability to build and nurture working relationships with a wide range of people and personalities.

·Strong communication, able to get your point across clearly, and have difficult conversations when needed.

What You’ll Do
This role enables the DEC and our 15 member charities to effectively respond to humanitarian emergencies and provide timely, quality, community-focused assistance.

As an Accountability & Learning Officer, alongside your efforts to contribute to our learning and growth, you will shape our work to influence key policy agendas. You’ll be working across such areas as climate adaption, flexible funding for humanitarian action, and locally led humanitarian responses.

Overseeing our monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities, you will support the set-up of projects, build relationships, and co-ordinate activities in all our current operational theatres.

Specifically, your role will involve:

- Assessing humanitarian crises for DEC appeal eligibility
- Maintaining and improving reporting templates
- Setting up and overseeing key learning activities over the appeal cycle
- Overseeing our Collective Initiatives and Shared Services portfolio
- Supporting a range of DEC research and learning projects and reviews
- Helping members to achieve their climate and environment targets
- Leading the design and set up of regular learning events and workshops
- Acting as the key focal point for members’ and partners’ queries
- Acting as deputy for the Accountability & Learning Manager

What You’ll Bring
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience with monitoring, evaluation, and research design and/or implementation
- Experience in the international humanitarian/development/charity sector for an NGO, UN Agency or similar
- A strong understanding of humanitarian crises globally
- Detailed knowledge of humanitarian principles, programming, and how the sector operates
- A good understanding of Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks and methodologies used to monitor programmes and measure outcomes
- An understanding of and interest in key policy areas within the humanitarian system
- The ability to thoroughly check and clean large datasets and analyse quantitative and qualitative data
- A degree-level qualification (ideally a post-graduate level qualification) in a relevant discipline

About the Role

Inclusion Coordinator will design and deliver creative arts activities for young people, overseeing the programmes for the Sensory Room and Duty Management of the Sunday Beyond Session. As well as this, you will provide line management support, coaching and development for arts sessional workers in their areas. This role requires a minimum of 55% of working hours spent face to face with young people.

In the first 6 months, you will have:

• Supported the Youth Zone to achieve 1000 visits by young people a week, inspired by the continually changing & vibrant offer.
• Collaborated with the delivery team to ensure a vibrant & engaging programme is in place every session, planned 3 months in advance with input & co-creation with young people.
• Grown, recruited, developed & led the sessional inclusion youth work team to provide a supportive, safe, inclusive, and ambitious environment.
• Developed strong local SEN/D partnerships which result in direct benefit to the borough's young people.
• Introduced the OnSide Evaluation Framework alongside young people's feedback to enhance the quality of the support given to help young people's progression.
• Created progression pathways for young people to build on our 'practice, perfect and perform' model.
• Ensured volunteers & young leaders are well managed and supported.
• Helped to deliver an engaging Beyond session with up to 60 young people attending per session; ensuring that our members with additional needs are supported with our "All About Me" forms.

About You

With a relevant qualification in SEND or Youth Work Essential Evidence of ongoing professional development (for example Safeguarding, health & Safety, Management), you will have experience of delivering SEND activities to young people in-line with relevant guidance and good practice.

You will have essential, proven experience of working with young people aged 8 to 19 (up to 25 for those with additional needs) in a range of settings and experience of engaging vulnerable, disengaged or hard to reach young people in activities. We are also looking for someone with experience of managing a staff team, ideally including volunteers and with a strong commitment to safeguarding children.

We need someone with a willingness to work evenings and every Sunday morning and to cover events, holidays and staff absence
