To perform this role, you’ll need the following skills:

Technical operational MEL

• Deep expertise in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) methodologies, frameworks, and global best practices.
• Advanced skills in results-based MEL design, including theory of change, indicator development, baseline assessments, impact measurement, and logframe development.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, with experience extracting insights from large datasets (e.g., DHS, PMA), and translating findings into actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
• Proficient in statistical software (e.g., STATA, R) and Excel, with applied experience in techniques such as Interrupted Time Series Analysis and multilevel regression.
• Skilled in using MEL platforms, digital data collection tools, and data management systems to ensure efficient and high-quality data capture and reporting.

 Sector expertise

• Deep knowledge in sexual and reproductive health programming/women’s health
• Understanding of complex programme delivery across multiple channels (clinical services, digital health, advocacy etc. )
• Knowledge of proposal development processes and MEL component design for competitive funding

Strategic analysis & Communication

• Proven ability to distil complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and country programme teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and their strategic implications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at tailoring messages for technical, operational, and executive audiences.

Strong project management

• Strong coordination and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables and effectively prioritise a dynamic workload.

Learning and capability building

• Skilled in institutionalising knowledge through repositories, evidence libraries, and learning platforms.
• Proven ability to facilitate cross-programme learning exchanges, communities of practice, and peer learning networks.
• Experienced in developing practical learning products—such as case studies, practice briefs, and toolkits—that drive programme improvement.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and ability to design effective knowledge transfer and capacity-building mechanisms.
• Experienced in organising and facilitating learning events, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Team Leadership & capacity development

• Exceptional ability to cultivate learning cultures that prioritise evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement.

To perform this role, you’ll need the following experience:

• Minimum of 8 years' experience leading evidence generation in global health—with strong insight into service delivery and programme implementation.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and manage complex, multi-country research initiatives and strategic partnerships, ensuring methodological rigour and relevance.
• Recognised thought leader, with a track record of evidence dissemination, donor engagement, and influencing global SRHR discourse.
• Strong background in team and project management, including budgeting, delivering high-quality outputs under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience in building institutional knowledge systems—such as evidence libraries, learning platforms, and embedded learning practices.
• Skilled in moderating virtual and in-person communities of practice and facilitating knowledge-sharing environments.

Formal education/qualification

• Advanced degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or related fields is essential.
• Additional qualification or formal training in research design or impact evaluation desirable
• Proficiency in French is highly desirable (please state level in application)

BACCH Education and Training Administrator

The BACCH Education and Training Administrator is a newly created role supporting the British Association for Community Child Health (BACCH), a specialty group of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. This role will take the lead on setting up and delivering educational courses and events for clinicians working in Community Child Health, including webinars, regional events, and the BACCH Annual Scientific Meeting.

Reporting to the BACCH Executive Officer, you will coordinate the development of a structured education and training offer, manage logistics for online and in-person courses, and support initiatives such as trainee-led learning and paid short courses. You will also support BACCH’s six affiliated specialist groups with administrative and event coordination as needed.

The role requires a highly organised and self-motivated individual with experience in event planning, digital platforms, and administrative systems. You’ll also maintain contact databases, filing systems, and internal procedures, while providing occasional cover for the wider team.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting educational events or working in professional membership organisations, along with strong communication, planning and IT skills. A background in healthcare, training, or children’s services and knowledge of website or budget management is desirable

The Head of Services is a senior role that plays a vital part in shaping and delivering MSDP’s mission. You will help lead the day-to-day delivery of services, ensuring they are effective, inclusive, and high-quality. Working alongside Service Managers, you’ll coordinate projects and contracts to meet the needs of the people and communities MSDP serves. You’ll help ensure services are delivered with integrity, impact, and compassion.

Key responsibilities

• Operational Leadership and Service Delivery: Oversee the effective day-to-day running of services, ensuring compliance, quality outcomes, confidentiality, and accurate record-keeping.
• People and Performance Management: Supervise and support Service Managers and teams, set performance standards, promote staff development, and ensure safe and effective recruitment practices.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing operational services in health, social care or charity sectors, with strong project management and delivery experience. You will also have a strong track record in staff supervision and team leadership with excellent leadership and team motivation skills. You will understand safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection (DPA, GDPR) with knowledge of service performance frameworks and contract compliance. A strong communicator, you will be able to create reports and presentations and be able to analyse data and derive insights. You will have budget and resource management skills with strong planning, organisational and risk management experience. You will be able to work independently and manage time effectively with a flexible, adaptable and problem-solving attitude. A willingness to learn British Sign Language (BSL), if not already proficient, is essential.

You may have experience working with or in Deaf or disability services and familiarity with Deaf culture and BSL. The ideal candidate would have experience in tender writing and funding applications, experience of contract management and reporting to commissioners and funders, and knowledge of adult social care commissioning, but these are desirable criteria. A willingness to learn British Sign Language (BSL) if not already proficient is essential.

Being part of the MSDP team is hugely rewarding, and what makes MSDP different is their culture and specialisms. Most of the staff team are Deaf and they have frontline staff who are able to communicate in British Sign Language and Deaf-Blind Manual/Hands on. New staff will benefit from learning about deafness, the inequalities that exist in access to mainstream services and the impact of those barriers on our beneficiaries. This is a brand new role, supporting the Head of Safe Ground with the strategic oversight and delivery of our programmes. Safe Ground has been at the forefront of designing and delivering innovative arts-based, therapeutically informed interventions within the criminal justice system and in communities across the UK. As we approach our 30th anniversary this year, we remain dedicated to challenging systematic injustice through the programmes we run and the partnerships we build. Using theatre arts, and culture, we design initiatives to support those impacted by the criminal justice system in gaining deeper insights into themselves, their relationships and their behaviours. • Oversee the development of new creative ideas and programmes as well as programme adaptations and redesigns. Ideas could be linked to theatre productions in and out of custodial settings, short films, live events, symposiums, but may also include new art forms and working with new artists
• Development of a local / national facilitator network
• Create and deliver engaging high-quality programmes which support rehabilitation and reintegration for participants
• Design and deliver innovation arts-based high quality training and quality assurance support to management and delivery teams across the SIG network - focusing specifically on relationships, culture and communication, conflict resolution, storytelling, power-sharing and co-production
• Lead on the development of creative ideas for Safe Grounds 30th anniversary, including; relationship building and partnership development, advocacy and networking, idea development - radio / stage / film etc

About you
