Job Purpose
Money Minded is a new service designed to support adults (18 years and over) in Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with the West London NHS Mental Health Teams, operating within the tri-borough area.
The service provides support with welfare benefits, accessing debt support, housing and well-being. The role of the Mental Health Information and Advice Officer will be to provide advice, guidance and customer representation to tri-borough residents living with Mental Health difficulties. Advice issues may include housing, welfare benefits, council tax, accessing debt support, signposting etc.
The successful candidate will deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals, as agreed with the Service Manager. In addition to advice casework, the Mental Health Information and Advice Officer will also be expected to assist onboarding referrals to the service, as and when needed.
The successful candidate will work closely with the West London NHS Mental Health teams and project volunteers, ensuring adherence to the Advice Quality Standard framework (AQS) and Mind's policies and procedures.
Due to the nature of the work, if successful, you will need to have an up-to-date DBS check completed, prior to undertaking unsupervised client work.

Place of Work
The Mental Health Information and Advice Officer will be required to work within the West London NHS Mental Health team offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals as agreed with the service manager

Person Specification
Knowledge & Experience
- Substantial experience of delivering advice in a similar position, preferably to individuals with Mental Health needs
- Knowledge and understanding of Mental Health problems and how they are impacted by social issues
- Experience of delivering advice, information and customer representation
- Experience of managing complex cases
- Experience of working with multiple agencies
- Experience of delivering desired outcomes in a timely manner

We are seeking an organised, proactive and diligent Membership and Engagement Coordinator to lead on the administrative support for our members and the wider Engagement team. The post holder will be responsible for providing a seamless experience for members wanting to join the ESU or for those renewing their membership. Bank Support Workers have the ability to accept any shifts available on an ad-hoc basis across from all of Look Ahead's specialisms including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Homelessness and Young People. Bank Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices. Within Learning Disability services, this will include providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care. Within Mental Health and Homelessness services they will enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package. While carrying out activities, Bank Support Workers should deal with all customers, visitors and staff in a professional and appropriate manner and report to Look Ahead staff and management any observations relating to customers' welfare.

The role of an IDVA is to address the safety of victims and survivors at high risk of harm at point of referral into the refuge.
IDVAs work with their customers within the refuge from the point of crisis by safety planning and risk assessing using the DASH to ascertain the level of risk to the victim.
The post holder will be required to work alongside refuge staff to support customers with complex needs who have been referred into the refuge.

About the team
Shelter’s mature fundraising team has seen continuous year on year growth. The directorate generates over £65m gross income, of which a high percentage is unrestricted, giving us an exceptional level of investment flexibility. This particular role sits within our High Value Partnerships division, which includes Philanthropy, Trusts & Foundations, Legacies, and Corporate Partnerships fundraising specialists. It will also see you work closely with colleagues in a Retail team that’s responsible for a network of 80 charity shops and boutique stores that are the face of Shelter on the high street.
About the role
An ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in corporate fundraising or charity retail, you’ll play a key role in developing Shelter’s retail presence and raising vital funds. You’ll be responsible for enabling stock donations from major retailers, and helping research and develop new relationships with businesses to generate stock and secure their expertise on a pro-bono basis. Hounslow is an innovative young person's service. The service is spread over 6 sites in Hounslow and supports a broad range of service users including Looked After Children, Care Leavers, Teenage Parents as well as other young people being referred in for multiple support needs.
The service works closely with statutory services to provide wrap around support for each customer within the service. Support is provided by a large and skilled workforce with specialist roles including a therapist and mediation worker, as well as an enhanced frontline staff team of 16 day support workers and night support workers, an apprentice, peer mentors and night concierge across a number of sites.
This service support those with medium to high/complex needs to achieve the very best outcomes including tenancy sustainment, ETE, learning and enhancing life skills, managing mental health and emotional wellbeing and a successful move on from the service with greater independence, confidence and resilience.
The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day to day management of the service, including line managing the relevant front line staff. You will lead and develop the skills of the team and will work closely with the contract manager to ensure that the service delivers on all targets.

Oaklands & St Kilda is a pair of 6 unit supported accommodation mental health rehab services working with young people between the ages of 18-25 who may have experienced a mental health related hospital admission to gain and develop skills for future independent living. The service will support individuals transitioning from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to Adult services.
The service forms part of a pair of services supporting up to 12 individuals at any one time across the sites, providing a welcoming and supportive environment for young people across London on a spot purchase basis.
Support workers will manage a number of young people to help them to identify, plan and achieve their goals, develop relationships meaningful to them and achieve greater independence by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package.
This role consists of consists of day time working patterns including early shifts from 8am and late shifts from 2pm. Shifts are 8 hours long and 5 days a week.

About You

- Guiding and case managing lawyers/law students on applications for leave to appeal/set aside to the Upper Tribunal/Judiciary, (from the Lower Tribunal). Full training will be given
