We’re on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Events Coordinator to join our growing team. As an Events Coordinator, you’ll support the planning and logistics of our events, working closely with the Events Manager and the wider team to ensure every detail is covered. From liaising with venues and suppliers to managing travel arrangements and volunteers, your organisational skills and ability to keep things running on time will be essential. You’ll also have the chance to work directly with participants, ensuring their experience is top-notch from start to finish. The role will involve some travel, so a full UK driving licence is a must.

This is a hands-on role that requires you to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changing needs. You’ll be involved in every stage of event planning, from the initial idea through to the final delivery. Managing budgets, overseeing logistics, and ensuring all event materials are organised and ready will be key elements of your day-to-day work. You’ll also be a key point of contact for volunteers and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations to guarantee the success of each event.

You will be contracted to our London hub, Haig House. We’re Rethink Mental Illness, a leading charity provider of mental health services in England. We support tens of thousands of people through our groups, services and advice and information. And we train employees, employers and members of the public on how best to support someone affected by mental illness. All of this work guides our campaigning for the rights of people living with mental illness and their carers.

Over 850 dedicated people work for Rethink Mental Illness, across our operations directorate, external affairs and our corporate services. Working from offices, services and homes across England all colleagues are central to our mission. Our small internal communications team plays a critical role in ensuring that all colleagues are aware of, brought into and engaged in contributing to the values and direction of the charity. Influencing skills and the ability to promote great internal communications practice across the charity form an essential part of this role.

Role Summary

The Conduit Foundation harnesses the power of convening, collaboration, and catalytic funding to advance innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. We are in rapid start-up mode, having recently begun accepting our first grants and moving quickly to build our operating model. This is a pivotal moment for the Foundation: we are ready to translate our mission and vision into a fully functioning philanthropic engine.

This will be the first full-time hire into the Foundation, working hand-in-hand with the Board of Trustees and the Chief Impact Officer to operationalise our mission, establish systems and processes, and set the stage for ambitious, high-impact fundraising, grant management, programme delivery, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Leadership

Translate the Conduit executive leadership and Foundation Board’s vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

Collaborate with The Conduit’s Impact team to integrate Foundation initiatives into broader Conduit strategy.

Identify and cultivate opportunities for funding, partnerships, and programme innovation.

2. Grants Management

Oversee the full grant cycle – from prospecting to evaluation - managing relationships, projects and budgets.

Ensure all grant activities meet legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, including England & Wales charity compliance.

Develop robust processes for impact measurement and reporting.

3. Board Development & Governance

Strengthen the governance set up, bolstering policies and procedures to establish best practice and managing legal and regulatory requirements for the Foundation.

Serve as the principal contact for the Board of Trustees, preparing materials, facilitating meetings and owning resulting actions.

Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing engagement of Trustees.

Advise the Board on trends and opportunities in philanthropy and social impact.

4. Fundraising & Corporate Engagement

Build and maintain relationships with corporate, institutional, and high-net-worth partners.

Identify and secure grants from funders that align with Foundation strategic priorities.

5. Programme Design & Delivery

Lead the design, launch, and management of the Foundation’s first in-house programmes.

Ensure programmes are innovative, impactful, and aligned with strategic priorities.

Set up systems for monitoring, learning, and continuous improvement.

6. Organisational Integration

Manage the relationship between the Foundation, Conduit Holdco, and The Conduit Club London.

Foster a culture of alignment, transparency, and shared mission across entities.

Skills & Experience

· 8–10 years of proven, hands-on execution experience in the UK charity sector, including setting up and implementing systems.

· Track record of delivering complex projects from start to finish with excellence and attention to detail.

· Strong experience and expertise in grants management, board engagement and governance.

· Proven success in fundraising from corporates, trusts, foundations, and major donors.

· Experience designing and delivering impactful programmes.

Operations Director
Oasis Community Partnerships (Youth and Community)

Permanent, full-time post, 40 hours per week, inclusive of breaks 

Starting salary: £51,960 per annum (plus London Weighting for London based staff)

 At an exciting and key stage in our journey we have the opportunity for an Operations Director to join the Oasis Youth and Community national leadership team supporting local Oasis community charities across the country.

With accountability to the CEO the Operations Director will be responsible for three key areas of work:

1. Lead key elements of policy and systems ensuring the Youth and Community function remains safe and compliant, and that local leaders and other key staff are effectively supported (including line management of People Services).
2. Oversee the effective governance oversight for all local charities through a cycle of professional guidance and monitoring.
3. Lead the national framework for monitoring and evaluation across activities.

The role

St John’s Foundation is looking to recruit a Finance Director.

As Finance Director, you will sit on the Executive team at St John’s, along with our CEO and our Director of Operations and contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation whilst embedding our values and embodying a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

About the role

The role of Fundraising Assistant offers an exciting opportunity for a strong administrator with an understanding and appreciation of donor value and contribution, to support Sightsavers Ireland’s Individual Giving team and lead on the administrative tasks that support fundraising efforts.

Flexible working

The Fundraising Assistant needs to work from our office in Dublin at least three times per week, to support key operational activities that need to be completed in person. About the Role

As Content Writer and Editor you promote the work and mission of the charity through digital and printed content production, including the editorship of All the World online magazine.

The In-House Content Writer and Editor (Maternity Cover) will be responsible for:

• Research and procurement of stories that promote the organisations mission and ministry ideals
• Write printed and digital content for publication on social media, web and internal platforms and printed works
• As Editor of All the World online magazine, the planning and commissioning of relevant content to be published a minimum of three times per week and that informs, inspires, nurtures and challenges readers about the life and work of the global charity. and impact of the magazine
• Draft additional content such as, but not limited to, International News Bulletins; update reports in a timely manner for website publication and social media platforms

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Have a degree in English, journalism or an equivalent related field
• Demonstrate significant experience as an in-house write and editor at mid-seniority level
• Be willing to adhere to in-house writing style and branding guidelines
• Have excellent written and spoken English, as well as a professional presentation
• Have significant experience in writing and distributing news stories, sometimes under time constraints
• Be proficient working in a Microsoft 365 (Word, Teams, etc) environment
• Demonstrate well-developed inter-personal, organisational and time management skills
• Be confident in recommending new concepts for communication methods
• Share empathy and a willingness to advance the mission, values and objectives of charity

The Role

As a Generalist Adviser you’ll be part of our friendly advice team, helping people in Southampton navigate the challenges they face. You’ll provide high quality, generalist advice across a wide range of issues — including benefits, housing, debt, employment, energy, and more.We would also like the postholder to work towards becoming an immigration specialist.

You’ll play an important part in our work to support vulnerable people, including contributing directly to our immigration service where advice needs overlap with immigration-related issues. 

You’ll be based in our central office and at community outreach locations across the city, ensuring our service is accessible to everyone who needs us. Advice will be delivered face-to-face, over the phone, and online. 

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check which will be applied for when the role is offered and accepted.

You will be a good communicator who is comfortable talking with people from all walks of life in a non-judgemental and supportive way. Rowans Hospice Charity provides free care and support to adults and their families living in the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire region who have a life-limiting illness. Established in 1994, our income is generated by ongoing support of the local community, donations, legacies, fundraising and through our retail shops.

Many people think that hospices are all about dying, but through our many different services, we support people to live as well as they can with their illness. From the moment of diagnosis through to bereavement support. Our Living Well Services put an emphasis on living with a life-limiting illness and patients and carers can drop in and gain advice and support to maintain individuals’ resilience.

The Hospice is also supported by an assembly of volunteers, from various backgrounds and ages who are crucial in supporting the teams to ensure people live well to the end of their life and attain a good death within a caring and compassionate environment.

The Role

To provide high-level, proactive, and confidential administrative and executive support to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees. This role ensures the efficient coordination of meetings, communications and strategic initiatives by managing schedules, preparing documentation and facilitating effective information flow. The EA acts as a key point of contact between internal and external stakeholders, supporting the governance and operational effectiveness of the Charity at the highest levels.

You will be the lead administrator for governance, ensuring all statutory and regulatory obligations are met, whilst also supporting the effective running of executive meetings, day-to-day leadership functions and education placements.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to – see Job Description for further information)

• Provide PA support to the Chair, Deputy CEO, Company Secretary and SLT, including diary management, correspondence, travel, and meeting coordination
• Provide efficient and professional support to the Board of Trustees and delegated committees, including scheduling, producing annual meeting calendars, preparing agendas, circulating papers, taking accurate minutes and following up on actions
• Provide administrative and logistical support for Doctors and Nursing Student placements
• Develop and maintain efficient systems and processes for executive administration

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role ideally in a charity
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Professional and confident interpersonal manner
• Ability to draft high-quality correspondence and reports
• Experience in formal minute-taking and senior board level

What the job involves

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and it’s harming too many lives. At Prostate Cancer UK, one of our top priorities is funding research that leads to real change. It’s vital we do our best to make sure this research makes a meaningful difference to men’s lives, and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Research Officer to help us deliver our funding schemes and patient and public involvement work.  This role sits in the Research Funding Team and will provide us with additional support during an exciting time while we implement a new grants management system. You’ll work across all our grant funding schemes, ensuring we are following best practise in research funding.

You’ll take responsibility for a small portfolio of active research grants, providing support and guidance to the researchers leading them. You’ll be a main point of contact for grant applicants, supporting them as they apply to us and will be responsible for running peer review. Using your understanding of research funding and administration, you’ll help make sure our funding schemes run smoothly and to time. You’ll work with colleagues to support patient and public involvement in research both in our review process and through our Patient Representative Network who help researchers make sure their work is focussed on the needs of men with prostate cancer.

This role is a fixed term to cover an internal secondment for 12 months.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a Senior Research Officer who is passionate about research and has a desire to develop knowledge of prostate cancer. You’ll hold a biomedical degree (or a degree in a related subject), or with equivalent experience gained in research funding, administration or the wider research sector.

You’ll already have a good grasp of how grant funding works and, ideally, some experience of research administration and peer review. Confidence in interpreting complex scientific information is important, as you’ll be using this knowledge to find the right people to peer review the grant applications that are submitted to our schemes.

You're also an accurate record keeper with a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills. You're assured and clear in your communication, both written and verbal, and you're able to respond to a wide range of inquiries from researchers while always adhering to data protection and confidentiality best practices.  Experience of using Symplectic’s Grant Tracker would be an advantage but is not essential.

LEF is recruiting for an external member to join its Grants Committee, supporting the delivery of a bold new five-year strategy. This is a unique opportunity to influence how legal tools are used to drive social change, especially at a time when human rights in the UK face significant challenges.

We are particularly seeking individuals with lived experience and expertise in:

We're looking for someone with:

• A track record of community-based activism or organising
• Experience mobilising local groups around housing, education, welfare or equalities.
