An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Housekeeping Assistant to join our Housekeeping Team. Role Requirements
Site wide general housekeeping service – ensure that the housekeeping services is of an acceptable level and is consistent across site.
- Carry out a cleaning service in allocated buildings/rooms/areas ensuring that daily tasks are completed according to the standard operating procedures in relation to the cleanliness/hygiene standards.
- Follow infection control procedures whenever carrying out duties and ensure procedures are followed should there be an infection control outbreak.
- Liaise with the Housekeeping Supervisor and House Staff on a daily basis – carrying out special requests in relation to Housekeeping.
- Ensure safe storage of cleaning materials and equipment and sufficient stock is maintained – informing the Housekeeping Supervisor of stock requiring ordering.
- Assist in the cleaning of communal areas on a daily basis and cleaning of carpets, curtains and high dusting on a rotating schedule.
- Ensure that any repairs required to fixtures and fittings are reported to the designated Facilities Helpdesk as soon as possible and any issues are reported to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Assist in routine housekeeping audits as outlined in the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure any works are to agreed service levels.
- Prioritise work to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Assist other members of the Site Services and Facilities teams as required.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.

Responsibilities
Digital Campaign Delivery:
- Working closely with the Commercial Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and logistics of various commercially focused campaigns ensuring deadlines are met and key milestones and metrics are achieved.

Where someone is a survivor of human trafficking they benefit from HBF’s counter-trafficking programme of support. The Foundation’s expertise is renowned in the field.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Client Services Team which operates within HBF’s vibrant, multi-disciplinary team. The duties of Client Services Administrator are two-fold 1) is to host our busy reception area and friendly waiting room; welcome clients and visiting professionals to the Helen Bamber Foundation and attend to any needs they might have and 2) to oversee the booking of appointments between clients and staff/volunteers across the organisation; liaising with third parties and clinicians in relation to Initial Assessments; booking and managing doctor’s diaries for our Medical Advisory Services and the booking of interpreters across the organisation. Since our launch in 2019, we've seen impressive growth, and now we need a talented account manager to help keep our clients happy and thriving. From NHS trusts and hospices to corporates, like Aviva and Deutsche Bank, you'll work with a diverse range of clients, so flexibility and tailored approaches are key.
We're after someone who can build strong relationships and think strategically to meet our clients' needs. You'll need to spot opportunities for growth and collaboration while ensuring our clients get the most value out of our programme. You don’t need to come from a wellbeing background, but we are looking for someone who is interested in this area and who shows a willingness to learn.

The Team:
We are a team of three that sit within the wider Income Generation and Grants directorate. The Compassionate Employers team includes the Compassionate Employers Programme Lead, Corporate Development Manager and the Compassionate Employers Executive.
Working together, we aim to support employers who need our workplace services, ultimately raising funds for hospices throughout the UK.
The Compassionate Employers programme and this role sit within our Corporate Development Team, within Income Generation and Grants. Compassionate Employers is a key part of Hospice UK’s Income Generation strategy.
Our Corporate Development Team works closely within and across the department. The focus in the team is on building partnerships with businesses, through commercial activity, fundraising or strategic support. Current corporate partnerships include several ‘charity of the year’ relationships, conferences and events, sponsorship, cause-related marketing partnerships, a supplier directory and a jobs board. As well as driving positive change for people affected by terminal illness and bereavement in the workplace, Compassionate Employers is an important income generation stream and ‘door-opener’ for Hospice UK.

Hospice UK is the national charity for hospice and palliative care. We provide support, leadership, expertise and advocacy for over 200 member hospices across the UK.
Our membership offer for hospices and their staff teams includes online resources, newsletters, conferences, networks, clinical and advocacy programmes. We bring hospices and sector partners together to discuss new ideas and collaborate in new ways, sharing good practice and celebrating the brilliant and innovative work that happens every day in hospices around the country.

My client is the leading charity stopping the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and making pregnancy and birth safe for everyone. Working across the whole pregnancy journey, the organisation funds ground-breaking research, campaigns for changes to maternity care and provides expert information and support.
At present they are looking to appoint an interim Chief Operating Officer to provide maternity cover for the permanent postholder and support the organisation with the implementation of a new and ambitious strategic plan.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient, effective development and running of the organisation’s core operations including finance, HR, IT and facilities.
- As a key member of the SLT, support the charity in executing its strategic plan, driving changes needed for the growth and development of the organisation.
- Overall responsibility for the management of the organisation’s financial plans, budgets and financial performance providing executive insight into new initiatives and scenarios.
- Act as Company Secretary, working with the trustees to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Embed a true team culture within the finance and business operations unit, ensuring balanced workloads, personal development and colleague engagement are at the highest levels
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant and have previous experience of working at board level within a charity. With substantive experience in financial planning and business partnering, you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to convey complex financial information to a diverse range of stakeholders. Comfortable with leading teams outside of your financial expertise, you will be an empowering leader with strong coaching skills, and the ability to develop and inspire others.
My client offers a flexible hybrid working policy, with 2 days a week in their London office.
