FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

Working within experienced and committed teams, the Behaviour Change Worker will deliver trauma responsive interventions including one to one support and group work to prevent harm.

There is a requirement for evening working – approximately once per week to deliver group work interventions. 

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables.

Key Responsibilities 

• Complete specialist risk assessments according to service guidelines and Respect standards, alongside developing personalised safety and support plans for programme participants. 

• Deliver one to one specialist behaviour change interventions for people with vulnerabilities, complex or multiple needs and those who require additional support to access our services. 

• Co-facilitate short term and long-term group work, providing a Respect accredited DVPP programme. 

• Promote the service externally and ensure our interventions are accessible. 

• Provide proactive, trauma responsive and holistic support, with a focus on increasing victim safety and reducing the risk posed by a perpetrator. 

• Work within a multi-agency framework to effect change, manage risk and ensure safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children is paramount. 

• Offer professional consultancy, training and advice to other agencies on working with perpetrators. 

• To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the safety of the victim is held central. 

• Represent the service user voice in a multi-agency context. 

• Attend Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) and Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) meetings as required. 

General 

• Live and embody the FearFree values. 

• To promote the service to external agencies where applicable.   

• Give information and support to service users regarding their other needs and refer them to other support services as required.

• Ensure our service is widely accessible – adapting practice as required to suit individuals.

• Work across a large geographical area to ensure locality is not a barrier to accessing services. 

• Deliver training and information sessions to promote our service, and increase awareness and understanding of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking for victims and those who harm. 

• Have a responsibility around safeguarding of both adults and children, maintaining knowledge of appropriate policies and procedures and integrated working. 

• Support other agencies in the identification and referral of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking issues via promotion of service and institutional advocacy. 

• Ensure all referrals are clearly logged on our database and all case records are kept fully updated, according to FearFree policies and procedures. 

• Engage with case management supervision, reflective practice and clinical supervision as required, taking an active role in managing own wellbeing and supporting the wellbeing of your colleagues. 

• Support colleagues in all services across FearFree as required. 

• Support the sustainability of the organisation by participating in fundraising activities and sharing ideas and contacts for income generation. 

• To engage in and contribute to effective team working with a flexible and pro-active approach, including cover for other team members’ holidays and sickness. 

• Undertake all statutory and mandatory training, as required by the organisation.

JOB PURPOSE 

The Operations team at Start Network seeks to provide high quality services and works across all directorates. The Operations Officer plays a crucial, frontline role for the organisation, often being the first port-of-call for enquiries from staff and supporting the Senior Operations Manager in the day-to-day delivery of services. In addition to this, the Operations Officer works on cross-team projects and plays an important role in the implementation of environmental policy and other initiatives. About The Role
We are recruiting for Events Fundraising Officers to join our ambitious Third Party and Organise your Own (OYO) Events team. These are full-time roles, working 35 hours per week with four fixed-term contract options available:

As Events Fundraising Officer (Third Party & OYO) you’ll support the growth, development, and delivery of our Third Party Events portfolio. Each of the Events Fundraising Officer roles will lead on different events including the London Marathon, Manchester Marathon and the official charity partnership with the AJ Bell Great Run Series.

You’ll work across multiple events to help us to give our participants and supporters the best possible events experience. This will enable us to build lasting connections with our cause and contribute to the £12million our team is projected to raise this financial year, with the wider Events team set to raise £22million. This is a rewarding role which helps to raise vital funds to support the lives of people affected by dementia.

These roles are all home-based, however you will be asked to travel and attend events in-person and occasionally across weekends throughout the year (travel expenses paid for by the Society).
Interviews for this role have been provisionally scheduled to take place via MS Teams on the week commencing Monday 3rd November.
 
About you
Joining us, you’ll have experience managing projects and/or events, with the ability to stay organised and prioritise your workload effectively. You’ll have experience of financial management and budgeting in relation to a project or an event.

Crucially, you’ll be able to build positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. You’ll be an effective communicator with experience producing and managing marketing or stewardship communications. You’ll also have the ability to collaborate successfully with others to deliver successful events that enable us to achieve targets.

What you’ll focus on:

- Organising, planning and delivering Third Party events successfully, providing the best possible experience for our participants.
- Building, monitoring and managing income and expenditure budgets, along with participant numbers, to ensure we hit our ambitious targets.
- Communicating with and building positive relationships with external suppliers and internal colleagues.
- Making data-led decisions and problem solving to ensure we hit our ambitious team targets, working under your own initiative whilst collaborating with peers.

The Communications Department at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) informs, inspires and engages our many audiences about dementia and the progress being made in research. The Corporate Communications Manager will be part of the Strategic Communications team – one of several specialist teams in the wider Department.

The Corporate Communications Manager will be responsible for ensuring consistent and compelling external communications to drive our brand, as well as establishing the charity’s position in key strategic areas and helping to drive value from our corporate partnerships.

They will ensure a clear internal narrative and key messaging for ARUK employees, as well as supporting external communications from the CEO Office. This will include guiding key thought leadership pieces from ARUK’s Senior Leadership Team and ambassadors, informing key stakeholder communications and protecting ARUK’s growing corporate reputation.

The postholder will oversee the charity’s Annual Report and Review and identify opportunities to raise the charity’s profile in key strategic areas of work. The postholder will manage the work of two Corporate Communications Officers.

This role is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a secondment.  

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management

· Developing and delivering operational plans for the team, working closely with other departments across the charity including Corporate Fundraising and the CEO Office.

· Day-to-day responsibility for the budget of the team, including reforecasting.

· Providing oversight and support for communications around current and future strategic partnerships for ARUK.

· Responsible for developing and maintaining key messaging documents and guidelines for the Department and ensuring internal teams and external partners are using consistent messaging to underpin the charity’s brand.

 Media Relations

· Coordinating pro-active PR planning, using media metrics to guide decisions and identify key areas of opportunity.

· Agreeing and tracking the use of media key messages.

· Taking an active role in promoting thought leadership pieces on key corporate or strategic issues for the charity.

What we are looking for:

· Ability to develop and support a high-performing team that delivers on organisational priorities.

· Significant experience working within an influential press office, including a record of proactively securing top-tier coverage.

As a Dementia Adviser, you will have an enormously rewarding opportunity to provide support, information, and guidance to people living with dementia; helping to maintain their independence, improving their sense of well-being, and putting them in more control of their lives. The service is unique to each service user as it is based upon their personal circumstances and support needs. You will work closely with the Telford Dementia Assessment Service to offer support to people following a new dementia diagnosis through to residential care or end of life. In this role within South East Telford Primary Care Network, you will offer support to your clients by phone, letter, email, virtually or in person home visits within the Telford Area. You will also assist service users to access other services and community activities, by providing signposting and referrals.

• Strong IT skills for keeping detailed and confidential records on our database and using Teams / Zoom
• Ability to support people with additional support needs to maintain their independence, improve their sense of well-being, and help them take more control of their lives.
• To be conscious to reach out to our many forms of support when dealing with emotional and difficult topics.
• The means to travel around Telford to face to face meetings with people you support and to local events.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic

• Lead on the development and delivery of CFT’s corporate fundraising strategy, setting income targets and KPIs with the Director of Development

Role Overview

This senior, hands-on role will lead our corporate fundraising, winning, growing, and stewarding strategic partnerships that deliver both income and impact. You’ll shape a clear offer for businesses (from White City Innovation District players to household names), design engaging staff experiences, and tell the story of one partnership → borough-wide impact. You’ll work closely with the CEO, trustees and colleagues in Partnerships/Grants, Impact and Comms. You’ll also have delivery resources to succeed: access to consultancy for prospect research, bid support, creative, etc., and a campaign/event budget.

Targets & Trajectory (guiding KPIs):

• Income: £75k–£125k secured within 18 months; £150k–£200k by end of year two.

• Portfolio: 15+ active corporate relationships; 95% retention.

• Pipeline: Balanced mix of local (e.g., White City Innovation District) and London-wide corporates. 

• Engagement: Deliver 1–2 cultivation events/year with team and trustee involvement.

 Key Responsibilities

1) New Business & Pipeline

• Build and manage a tiered prospect pipeline (e.g., Disney, Imperial College London, L’Oréal; innovation district and borough anchor institutions).

• Lead outreach, discovery, and tailored proposals for £10k–£50k+ partnerships (CIC/CSR/ESG, sponsorship, skills/volunteering, payroll giving, in-kind, cause-related marketing).

• Co-create compelling value propositions and packages (local stories + measurable outcomes + staff engagement).

• Use the consultancy budget strategically (e.g., research, copy/design, senior introductions) to accelerate conversion. 

2) Account Management & Stewardship

• Provide excellent partner experience and stewardship plans; agree on KPIs/MOUs and deliverables; renew and grow multi-year partnerships.

• Design staff engagement that goes beyond volunteering: insight sessions, youth-led events, site visits, mentoring, pro-bono sprints.

• Work with Impact to evidence results (dashboards, case studies, SROI), and with Comms on brand-aligned content and events.

3) Strategy, Governance & Reporting

• Own the corporate income plan aligned to our Revenue Growth Strategy (with realistic quarterly milestones and early-warning triggers).

• Track pipeline and income on the CRM; produce quarterly RAG dashboards for the Task Force/Board.

• Uphold ethical screening and brand alignment; ensure legal/compliance and safeguarding standards are met. 

4) Internal & External Collaboration

• Partner with Partnerships & Grants to align offers and avoid duplication (trusts/consortia insight sharing).

• Leverage the CEO and trustees for warm introductions; brief and support them for pitches/cultivation.

• Champion youth voice and member benefits in every partnership.

Kingston Carers Network's Young Carers Project (YCP) provides information, advice and support to young carers in Kingston. Our services include a weekly youth club and drop-in sessions, respite activities during the school holidays, one-to-one mentoring and targeted family support.

We are looking for a committed, proactive person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to lead the YCP team in supporting our amazing young carers, aged 5-18, who all have a caring responsibility for a family member. We currently support over 4000 carers, including over 800 young carers, who are caring for a relative or friend with a disability, illness, mental health problem or substance addiction. The successful candidate will have the ability to plan and deliver a range of activities and support to young carers to ensure that the project aims are achieved. Experience of working with young people aged 5-18 years is essential.

Mind in Croydon is seeking to recruit a full time Advocacy Service Manager to join our small, dedicated team of Independent Mental Health Advocates (IMHA) working to provide advocacy services to adults subjected to detention under the Mental Health Act in the London Borough of Croydon to ensure they understand, express and exercise their rights, and to enable them to access essential services. The advocacy team also provides Community Mental Health Advocacy for people who are informal patients in psychiatric hospital or living in the community and provides weekly advocacy service at two InMind Healthcare Group hospitals in Croydon.

The role is ideal for an experienced Advocate, who is passionate about promoting the rights of people who are experiencing poor mental health, in sometimes challenging conditions, but who is also committed to nurture the next generation of future advocates, as a key part of the role will involve supervising and supporting a current trainee in addition to a qualified IMHA, providing guidance, support, and skills development on casework and advocacy.

In December 2024 the team was awarded the Quality Performance Mark in Advocacy, a testament to their quality of service providing safe and life-changing support.
