An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to join the Chief Executives office. Your role is to provide high quality support to the Directors and by extension, the Senior Leadership Team

Role Requirements
- Provide high level administrative support to the Directors.
- Exercise judgement in prioritisation, dealing with matters within own remit and / or referring them to the director as and when necessary, ensuring tact, discretion and courtesy at all times.
- Review incoming mail, prioritising, redirecting or responding to issues.
- Monitor the email inbox of the Director(s), responding where relevant and highlighting any urgent messages to Director.
- Draft, edit and format documents
- Arrange travel bookings / itineraries
- Communicate instructions and other messages to managers and staff clearly and promptly on behalf of the Director(s)
- Keep Emergency Procedures File up to date.
- Monitor team PDR dates, and keep Director(s) updated in this regard; schedule PDRs for Director’s direct reports.
- Effectively support meetings in terms of venue, accommodation, equipment, and refreshments.
- Attend team and other relevant meetings taking and producing minutes for distribution (as required);
- Liaise with Reception in relation to external visitors and ensure the smooth running of internal and external meetings and visits;
- Process expenses on behalf of the Director(s).
- Manage the Director’s corporate credit card and reconcile against monthly statements
- Assist the Director(s) with additional administrative/organisational tasks assigned at the discretion of the Director.
- Assist in the planning, execution and tracking of key projects. Coordinate project timelines, deliverables and resources to ensure successful completion within deadlines.

Role description
As our director of digital and information security, you will lead our digital risk and resilience team and programme in order to help build resistance and resilience among the people and movements challenging unaccountable power.
Your focus in this senior role at this crucial time will be on leadership, strategy, growth, and culture, with specific responsibility for our digital risk and resilience programme, internal information security, and tech transformation. Your responsibilities will include:
Lead our digital risk and resilience programme
- Manage the design and delivery of our digital and information security support, including:
- Coordinate the digital security mentoring, accompaniment, and capacity sharing we deliver to at-risk activists and low-resource civil society organisations referred through our rapid response mechanism.

The role
The special events coordinator will report to the special events manager.
We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic special events coordinator to join the dynamic philanthropy team. You will play a pivotal role in planning, organising, and executing a diverse range of events, providing the best possible experience to some of the charity’s most committed donors through a mixture of bespoke events, engagement events, and as we steer towards starting to do income-generating events.
The special events coordinator will support the special events manager in creating and managing an exceptional events programme to underpin major donor fundraising, supporting portfolio managers to successfully engage prospects and donors. Budget management

RSVP management
· Managing the RSVP mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to event invitations and queries.
Database management
· Maintain and update event-related databases, ensuring accurate records of participants, donors, and sponsors.
Relationship management
· Act as the main point of contact for colleagues, donors, and contractors, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the event planning and delivery process.
Portfolio manager support
· Assist portfolio managers in engaging with prospects and donors effectively, providing event-related insights and facilitating meaningful connections.
On-site coordination
· Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all elements are in place and events run smoothly.
Post-event evaluation
· Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Oversight and responsibility
· Manage risk assessment, risk management, and first aid training to ensure the safety and well-being of all event participants.

About the role:
The Team Leader will lead on the delivery of the Triage Model in their pilot area/s, providing support, case management and supervision for the Triage Worker and IDVA roles. They will act as the first point of contact assessing the suitability of initial referrals to be allocated to a Triage Worker for a full assessment. You will have demonstrable experience of developing and/or managing projects in the fields of energy efficiency, community development and regeneration, housing, social policy or consumer issues.
It is important that you have an awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them.
You will need good organisational skills, as well as excellent written and communication skills, as you will maintain appropriate records and data, and produce regular written reports on project progress.
You will be an excellent communicator, with experience and understanding of how to effectively address the energy needs of low income, vulnerable or disadvantaged householders - with the desire to make a positive difference to people’s lives.

In this newly created Deputy Head of HR role, you will lead our Business Partnering & Advisory function by developing the HR Business Partnering model, managing a team of HR professionals, and ultimately embedding excellent people management practice across the organisation. You will also have a direct business partnering relationship with Relate at Family Action; providing strategic advice, coaching and operational HR support to senior managers, to support culture change post-merger (in January 2025).
If you have significant experience managing complex employee relations and organisational change processes (including TUPE and large-scale restructures) and leading a team of HR professionals, we would like to hear from you. The ability to think strategically while also delivering operationally, alongside strong influencing and coaching skills will make you an ideal candidate.
