We’re looking for a Community Outreach and Health Equity Manager to help us drive real change. Sitting at the heart of our Health Equity and Involvement team, you’ll lead the design and delivery of an outreach programme that tackles health inequalities head-on. This means working hand-in-hand with grassroots organisations, cultural and faith groups, and local systems to co-create relevant, place-based initiatives that raise awareness, build trust, and improve access to our services and research opportunities.

This is a highly collaborative and strategic role. You’ll use data and lived experience to identify priority communities, lead impactful outreach activity, and ensure the voices of those most affected by inequality shape our work at every level. You’ll also champion inclusive practices across the organisation and help embed equity into everything we do.

Expected travel for this role is: Approximately 2/3 days per month either in the office or at relevant community outreach events across the UK

About the role
In this role you will support the delivery of the Volunteering Departments' engine room for volunteering experience, involvement, product development and internal partnering, in line with Macmillan’s vision and values.

Your Role

As our Head of Alternative Provision, you’ll lead the development and delivery of our new Alternative Provision service, supporting young people who are struggling to thrive in mainstream education. This is a hands-on role at the start, shaping the model, refining plans, and directly managing delivery. As the service grows, your focus will shift to leading its further development, maintaining quality, and expanding provision across sites.

You’ll be part of our Senior Management Team and play a key role in building strong partnerships with schools, commissioners and families, ensuring we provide outstanding, therapeutic and accredited learning opportunities. Through these relationships, you’ll also help identify new ways for No Limits to support schools and families to meet young people’s needs.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Leading the development, delivery and quality assurance of our Alternative Provision service
• Overseeing service design, safeguarding, risk management and outcomes for young people
• Building and maintaining strong partnerships with schools, local authorities and commissioners
• Acting as subject expert on Alternative Provision, SEMH and EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance)
• Managing teams, budgets, quality assurance, and resources effectively

What you’ll do

You will play a vital role within an innovative, community-based mental health service jointly commissioned by the London Borough of Harrow and NW London NHS, in partnership with Anna Freud. You will deliver brief, evidence-based interventions - primarily CBT, trauma-informed, and Mentalization approaches - to children and families experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges. Working across schools, homes, and community venues, you will conduct psychological assessments, offer individual and group therapy, and collaborate with professionals to support complex cases. You will also provide consultation, training, and supervision to school staff and Wellbeing Practitioners, ensuring a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-aware approach.

What you’ll bring

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled mental health professional with a strong foundation in therapeutic interventions and a commitment to supporting children, young people, and families within a community-based setting. Essential qualification, experience and skills:

• Proven experience delivering evidence-based psychological interventions such as CBT, including a recognised qualification in a core profession of Clinical/Counselling Psychology, Family Therapy or other recognised background in child and adolescent mental health.
• Strong assessment and formulation skills, with the ability to manage complex cases and tailor support to individual needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, particularly when working across schools, families, and multi-agency teams.
• Experience providing consultation, supervision, or training to professionals, ideally within educational or mental health settings.
• Cultural competence and a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-aware approach to working with diverse communities and safeguarding vulnerable individuals.

Key details

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week): usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. Flexible working is possible, subject to discussion and operational needs.

Salary: £46,800 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.

Location: Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). 60-80% in-person working to deliver intervention therapy sessions across Harrow Community sites (Cedars Children’s Centre, 127 Whittlesea Road, Harrow HA3 6ND) and occasionally at Anna Freud, 4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).

Job Purpose

The Communications and Content Officer supports the delivery of engaging and effective communications across Operation Smile UK’s channels. The postholder will create and coordinate content that raises awareness, supports fundraising, and strengthens the organisation’s profile in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Content creation and content management

• Working with the Senior Communications Manager, research, draft, and edit compelling content for the UK website, newsletters, and print materials.
• Support the reimagining of existing content to ensure messaging is fresh, relevant, and audience-led.
• Collate and maintain a library of case studies, stories, and assets for use across teams.
• Ensure brand voice and tone are consistently applied across all communications.

Digital and organic social media

• Develop and maintain a social media content calendar which supports our Communications Strategy and liaise with our Social Media Freelancer to plan and approve posts.
• Contribute to the delivery of multi-channel campaigns, liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to create assets and meet deadlines.
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on content performance, identifying opportunities for growth and engagement.

Campaign coordination

• Support the planning and scheduling of communications campaigns like World Smile Day and advertising events like our annual carols concert.
• Manage feedback processes to ensure the timely delivery of content and materials.
• Act as the first point of contact for all content requests from across the organisation.

Administration and finance

• Collate quotes for expenditure and liaise with suppliers as required.
• Track invoices, ensuring coding is accurate and amounts match agreed quotes.
• Maintain organised systems for content workflows, approvals, and campaign schedules.

Monitoring and evaluation

• Gather engagement and performance metrics from all channels.
• Provide regular reports to the Senior Communications Manager.
• Suggest improvements to optimise performance and impact.

OTB Choices provides a dynamic portfolio of education, skills, creative and work experience opportunities, from cooking, art and craft to printing, computing, music and customer service, and much more. As Service Manager you will be at the heart of developing and managing these services, ensuring consistently high quality provision that really does make a difference.

You will help lead busy, vibrant services so must have the strength and vision of an experienced manager, a demonstrable track record and shared passion for enabling and empowering people with learning disabilities and/or autism to have their best lives.

Location: This role is home based. It will also require occasional travel for meetings and events

Hours: 4 days per week (28 hours)

Salary: Level 5. £28,500 per annum. £22,800 pro rata

Main Responsibilites:

Content Development & Design 

• Create high-quality digital and media learning materials, including guides, toolkits, presentations, eLearning modules and video resources tailored for creative professionals
• Translate complex topics into accessible, innovative and impactful learning content that supports a variety of professional development pathways and diverse audiences
• Use authoring tools (such as Articulate, Vyond, Canva, Thinkific etc.) to create interactive and visually engaging learning experiences, incorporating video, audio, and creative media
• Champion inclusion by ensuring all content reflects Artswork’s commitment to and standards of access, diversity, equality, inclusion and cultural relevance
• Upload, organise, and update course content on our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring resources are accessible, easy to navigate and up to date
• Utilise insights from post-training assessments, platform engagement metrics, and qualitative feedback to refine and enhance learning materials and evolve our offer 

 Collaboration & Team working 

• Work in collaboration with the Learning Development Manager, Professional Development team, subject matter experts, and clients to shape meaningful learning experiences
• Generate ideas that contribute to Artswork’s commitment to continuous quality improvement in its training and help us grow our learning offer
• Support project timelines, manage documentation, and contribute to the successful launch of new professional development programmes
• Contribute to the APD growth strategy through ideas and practical solutions  

 Sales and Marketing

• Ensure all content supports Artswork’s brand tone, visual identity and core messaging whilst supporting a high quality and effective learning journey for participants
• Work with the Sales & Marketing Lead and the Communications team to align training materials with product launches, campaign milestones, and promotional strategies
• Work with the Sales & Marketing Lead to repurpose existing content for marketing purposes 

 Administration and Legal Compliance 

• Maintain positive, diplomatic professional relationships with colleagues and our participants, partners and stakeholders
