Role Overview:
This is a new and pivotal role at RMJ, created to build our individual giving programme from the ground up. You’ll take a small but committed base of supporter donors and grow it into a thriving, sustainable income stream. If you enjoy working in a small, collaborative team within a fast-moving organisation that’s ready to scale its impact, this role offers the chance to shape something truly meaningful.
As our Individual Giving Fundraiser, you will lead on digital and direct marketing appeals, engagement campaigns, and supporter journeys that inspire people to take action - whether that’s making a gift, leaving a legacy, taking on a fundraising challenge, or becoming a long-term advocate for our work.
We’re looking for someone with at least three years’ fundraising experience within a campaigning organisation, charity, membership body, or political party. You’ll bring the creativity and drive needed to start a programme almost from scratch, alongside practical experience delivering fundraising across both digital and print channels. You’ll know how to engage different audiences, motivate them to give, and build strong relationships over time.
You’ll also be someone who loves working with data - using it to understand donor behaviour, analyse performance, spot trends, and make smart, evidence-based decisions. By combining data, strong storytelling, and supporter insight, you’ll help us deepen donor engagement and increase income to fuel RMJ’s mission.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Individual Giving Manager to lead the development and delivery of our supporter acquisition and retention strategies. This is a full time, permanent role working on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our London office.
This is a varied and hands-on role where you will lead multi-channel campaigns, driving supporter growth, income and lifetime value.
The Individual Giving & Legacies team is a key driver of voluntary income at Sense. We are an ambitious and growing team, focused on increasing supporter engagement and long-term income. You will play a key role in shaping our individual giving programme, testing new ideas, improving performance and ensuring our supporters feel inspired and connected to our work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver supporter acquisition and retention strategies, plans and budgets.
- Lead multi-channel fundraising campaigns across direct mail, digital, DRTV, telemarketing and face-to-face.
- Drive income growth and maximise value of supporters.
- Develop engaging fundraising propositions and creative campaign content.

About You
We’re looking for a confident and data-driven fundraiser with strong experience in individual giving and direct marketing. You’ll be both strategic and hands-on, comfortable managing campaigns end-to-end while continuously improving performance through insight and innovation.
You will bring:
- Proven experience delivering successful individual giving or direct marketing campaigns.
- Strong multi-channel experience (e.g. direct mail, digital, DRTV, telemarketing, face-to-face).
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting and reporting on performance.
- Strong analytical skills, including segmentation, targeting and campaign optimisation.
- Experience managing agencies and external partners.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading or mentoring team members.
- Experience with prize-led fundraising would be beneficial but is not essential.

The organisation is ranked among the world's top orchestras and is Resident Orchestra at the Barbican. This is a full-time, permanent role paying a salary of £45,000-£50,000. The Senior Individual Giving manager will lead a successful team to develop and implement the overall Individual Giving strategy. We have an exciting opportunity for a home-based IG Manager to join Add International, a passionate international grant making disability charity. The Charity
Add International are a grant making disability charity (c£2m income) that is a very flexible employer, offer home working, four day week, Monday to Thursday 30 hours per week.
The Role
Supported by the Director of External Engagement who has established a foundation of fundraising success, and communicating a power-shifting approach which donors are engaged with, for you to build upon.
You will line manage the Supporter Care Coordinator who is the first point of contact for donors, and manages the database and insights.
You will work closely alongside colleagues from the team based in the UK, Africa and Asia.

Principal responsibilities and duties
Budget Management
- With the Head of Comms & Individual Giving, set annual budgets and programmes of activity, actively monitoring performance against these and adapting approach as necessary
- Plan, monitor and control expenditure as appropriate and manage income against set budget, KPIs; providing regular revised projections and narrative for the Senior Leadership Team and trustees as required
- Analyse individual giving performance, reporting as required and using the results to improve practice, including evaluation of cost effectiveness and sustainability
Communicating and building relationships
- Cultivate and steward meaningful relationships with individual donors to maintain their engagement and support and ensure a stable and growing donor base
