Trust and foundations

• Update the trusts and foundations database and managing the pipeline of activity
• Prepare tailored applications to trusts and foundations
• Manage reporting deadlines to funders

• Create budgets working with the Executive Director, Finance Director, Artistic Directors and Project Leads 

Individual and Corporate Giving

• Create individual giving schemes, exploring the potential for new initiatives such as membership and legacy programmes

• Research potential corporate supporters – both corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sponsorship
• Pitch to potential donors and supporters

Event Planning

• Create a programme of cultivation events which could:

- thank and nurture existing donors

- act as a precursor to giving

- introduce individuals and companies to potential campaigns

- begin new relationship development

Good practice, such as ethical fundraising

• Development of an ethical fundraising statement, in partnership with Executive and Board
• Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations
• Supporting team in being part of a fundraising culture

General

• Day to day management of fundraising budget, creating and monitoring income targets and delivering compelling company messaging around charitable giving on and offline. 

Ideal candidates will have skills and experience as shown in the candidate pack including:

Property & Facilities Manager

We are seeking a Property & Facilities Manager who will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the properties of Richmond Team Ministry and their facilities. The properties include three churches, their associated church halls, vicarages, Parish Office and investment properties.

As the Trusts and Foundations Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our fundraising efforts, generating income through grant applications to fuel our essential programs and pioneering pilot initiatives. • Knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards for CQC registered services, including the need for the management and delivery of person-centred services. 
• Experience of providing effective supervision, leadership and management of staff. 
• Must have experience of directly working with people with a severe mental illness.
• Must have experience of working within statutory agencies.

• Plan and deliver a new Partners development strategy to secure significant gifts from individuals.

The Job

The Learning Networks Portfolio Manager will:

• Report to the Managing Director

• Be employed on a permanent contract

The Role In Brief

This position plays a central role in the delivery of Koreo’s work; responsible for a portfolio of the company’s biggest and most established programmes. It will be a varied role and will require someone to lead project teams in the design and delivery of high quality national learning programmes, while also playing a key role in the development of Koreo as an organisation
better able to build a just and regenerative future.

1. Responsible for the successful delivery and development of a portfolio of national learning programmes and projects. This portfolio of work is primarily focused on cross-sector learning programmes that bring cohorts of people together around learning missions. Examples include Civic Futures and the London Engagement Collaborative
with the GLA.
2. Responsible for sustaining and growing the portfolio, and with it Koreo’s profile, network, and income. This might be focused on developing the existing programmes in the portfolio, or could include wider writing, public speaking, pitching and networking
which support the distribution of the work.
3. An internal leadership role in developing a just and inclusive culture in which a diverse team can do its best work. This includes line management of one Project Coordinator, development of organisational practice and process, and work with the team on culture and development.

● Experience of designing and facilitating learning/collaboration/experimentation spaces for individuals and groups, either in an organisational or programmatic context. 

● Skills & Knowledge which enable you to design high quality programmes and learning spaces, to support individuals with their learning, and to facilitate group spaces. 

● A familiarity with subjects relevant to Koreo’s work is essential. Successful candidates will likely be interested in subjects like collective impact, new approaches to power, working in and with complex systems, organisational design and psychology, participatory futures, activism and organising, multi-disciplinary practice, and much more that we don’t know about yet.

● An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a range of stakeholders, with excellent verbal and written skills.

Operational Excellence:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Risk & Assurance Manager to join our Audit, Risk & Governance Team. This role will require the successful candidate to support to the Head of Audit, Risk & Governance in the implementation and oversight of effective risk management and assurance policies and procedures for the whole organisation.

Role Requirements

 You will attend the Audit & Risk Committee and other board committees from time to time to present on risk and assurance.  With experience of delivering 2nd line risk and assurance activities within large, complex or heavily regulated organisation, you will be effective in building professional relationships and influencing and collaborating with colleagues from all disciplines and at all levels. 

You will need to engage effectively with frontline and support colleagues to really understand the needs of our beneficiaries and the risks to the charity more broadly.  The ultimate objective of risk management at The Children’s Trust is to ensure the charity continues to deliver high-quality, safe and effective and financially sustainable services for vulnerable children now and in the longer-term.

Although the role does not have any formal direct reports, the Risk & Assurance Analyst will have a dotted line into the Risk & Assurance Manager, providing support particularly on business continuity but also on risk management as and when necessary.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. Key responsibilities

These include but are not limited to:

• Develop and manage our legacy fundraising, setting and achieving agreed targets to help us to grow our long-term legacy income.
• Plan, develop and implement high impact, audience-centric legacy marketing campaigns to attract new legacy pledgers, considerers and enquirers. This includes activity across a range of channels from social media, digital, telemarketing, direct mail and events.
• Develop and implement compelling supporter journeys to effectively steward potential legators.
• Ensure that all legacy marketing campaigns are managed efficiently and effectively.
• Track, report and benchmark results to inform decision making for future activity.
• Overall management of our annual legacy income; management of our legacy administration, including overseeing the external legacy admin support.
• Build and maintain sustainable, constructive relationships with colleagues and key external suppliers. Provide internal resources for learning about legacies, to aid awareness.
• Collaborate to ensure integrated planning for legacy marketing with the wider teams: Individual Giving, other fundraising teams, the register team, marketing and content along with other colleagues to identify sustainable ways to deliver our Fundraising strategy.

Essential attributes:

• Experience of creating and managing large scale, multi-channel, audience-centric and insight-led response-driving fundraising or marketing campaigns
• Demonstrable track record of achieving legacy fundraising success through integrated communications to individual supporters, with experience of effective supporter stewardship to drive loyalty
• A track record of developing and meeting targets within budget
• A working understanding of legacies and the legacy administration process and experience of working with solicitors and online will writing partners.
• Experience of producing financial analysis to improve lifetime value, including detailed income and expenditure budgets and reforecasts
