Our programme supporting Higher Technical Education has big ambitions. Known as the ‘missing middle’ of higher education in England, we want to see the declines in level 4 and 5 technical education reversed and more providers emerge who can offer high-quality education and training to help people access highskilled occupations. Key to this transformation is the role of Institutes of Technology (IoTs) – collaborations between further education colleges, universities and employers – and we have been working closely with the National Network of Institutes of Technology to support their success. We are looking for a Project Officer to play an integral part in the successful delivery of this programme, as well as becoming an advocate for Higher Technical Qualifications more broadly. 

This role sits within the small Higher Education Team at Gatsby, and you will work closely with the Project Manager and Director of Programmes to: develop and deliver a range of projects to support our programme objectives; represent Gatsby at external meetings; organise meetings and events; and develop strong working relationships with key partners.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver projects to support Gatsby’s Higher Technical Education programme, with clear objectives and planning, delivering outputs on time and within budget.
• Research, create and write compelling communications that support programme objectives.
• Co-ordinate regular meetings and external events, including drafting agendas, writing minutes, liaising with and organising contributions from external stakeholders.
• Work effectively with other Gatsby programme teams to ensure higher technical education is appropriately represented within their areas of focus.
• Commission consultants/researchers to undertake pieces of work that will inform programme direction.
• Undertake project evaluations to measure success, analysing outputs/feedback and making informed recommendations to improve activity.
• Manage the National Network of Institutes of Technology website and LinkedIn pages, ensuring they remain a compelling national presence with engaging and relevant content.
• Provide administrative and budget support for beneficiary grants and contracts.
• Create and maintain data and contact information relevant to the Institutes of Technology and other key stakeholders in higher technical education.
• Maintain a secure understanding of all high-level Gatsby policy positions and able to communicate them effectively in written form and verbally.

The role

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support our CEO and COO. ROLE DETAILS 

Standing Voice is looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager based in or near London to join our UK team. This is an exciting and challenging role in a creative and focused working environment, within an organisation with multiple programmes and funding streams across 3 countries. This position suits an ambitious and experienced fundraiser, equipped with excellent written and oral communication skills and a depth of donor management experience. 

The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director and be tasked with advancing & implementing Standing Voice’s Fundraising Strategy including writing grants proposals; diversifying & scaling-up the organisation’s income streams; and managing donor relations and reporting. As well as working alongside UK fundraising, programmes and finance colleagues, the Fundraising Manager will work directly with our teams in Tanzania and Malawi to design and generate project proposals.

The Role:

Hospice UK has an exciting new fundraising strategy with a focus on digital fundraising and supporter journeys. We are looking to significantly increase our engagement with new and existing supporters across all areas of fundraising. The Digital Fundraising and Engagement Executive will be responsible for maximising income, supporter recruitment and retention through digital channels, for both individual giving and events.

Reporting into the Head of Events & Supporter Engagement and working very closely with the External Affairs team you will deliver a cohesive and impactful approach to digital fundraising and supporter journeys. The Digital Fundraising and Engagement Executive will lead on recruitment and stewardship for a number of third-party challenge events as well as supporting on the optimisation of integrated digital campaigns and donor journeys.

The Events and Supporter Engagement team forms part of the wider Income Generation and Grants Directorate. The team’s focus is on raising funds from individuals through challenge and special events, digital fundraising, giving in memory, legacy giving, regular and payroll giving and one off donations.

The team is made up of 5 people (including this role), who work closely together to help achieve our goals. The wider Income Generation and Grants team consists of 20 people in total. We meet regularly through team meetings and coming together in the office on a Tuesday, which helps to create a supportive working environment.

We cover a wide geographical area in Northern England including Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield and the Yorkshire Dales. 

In line with the Church of England’s Routemap to Net Zero Carbon, the Diocese of Leeds has an ambition to achieve net zero carbon (NZC) by 2030 across our diocesan estate. To deliver this ambition, a detailed net zero carbon programme that has been developed is being implemented to decarbonise the 587 churches, 57 school and 451 domestic properties for clergy within the diocese.

We are recognised as a leading diocese within the whole of the Church of England’s NZC programme, and we anticipate being at the forefront of seeking funding for decarbonisation projects in this sector.

A recent piece of research for the Diocese of Leeds has identified potential NZC funding sources across including community funding, grant funding, statutory funding, high net worth individuals, corporate donors. A funding action plan has been proposed.

To support this extensive programme of work we are seeking an experienced Funding Officer to work alongside a growing vibrant and committed diocesan team of NZC officers. The diocese has gained national Church of England funding to support this role until the end 2025.

As an independent wildlife charity, Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust is dependent on the generosity of supporters through a variety of charitable giving means. We are seeking a Fundraising Officer to develop and grow voluntary income across a range of activity, including applications for funding to trusts and foundations, individual donations, and work with corporate donors.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop your skills as a fundraiser whilst making a real difference to people and wildlife in Birmingham and the Black Country. The post will help ensure we can achieve our ambitious plans to attract new charitable income, build a wide communication network and diversify fundraising opportunities. 

As a Fundraising Officer you will have excellent communication skills, especially written. You will be comfortable supporting grant monitoring and evaluation activity. You be confident in building strong and compelling relationships with funders and corporate partners. You will work as part of an effective team and benefit from working with experienced professionals. Above all you will be driven by a commitment to drive forward our charitable income to help support nature’s recovery.

Flexible role, based in offices within Birmingham or working from home, as required. Occasional travel regionally and nationally.

Rose Voucher Project Officer, Southwark Rose Vouchers for Fruit and Veg Project

The Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg Project in Southwark has been successfully supporting families with young children to ensure fruit and vegetables are a part of their everyday diet since 2018. As we enter the seventh year of the project, we are now looking for a new member of staff to join the 1st Place Rose Voucher Project team and support our work in delivering the project, while measuring its wider impact on families. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience of working in a community setting and an understanding of impact and evaluation to take on a key role in the project, involving ongoing interaction with families and professionals.

Job Summary

As Rose Voucher Project Officer, you will be working alongside the Southwark Rose Voucher Project Lead to forward the development of the Rose Voucher Project in Southwark. Your key areas of responsibility will be registering new families onto the Rose Voucher Project, overseeing the two Rose Voucher distribution sessions which take place at both our centres, supported by our dedicated Rose Voucher volunteers, and coordinating and supporting the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the Project. You will also provide support to our network of other Rose Voucher distribution centres in Southwark to ensure they are working in a coordinated way and according to agreed processes.

You will be a motivated individual, with excellent written and communication skills, and proven experience of working in a community setting where service users are valued, listened to and respected. Previous experience working with and signposting families is essential to ensure that our Rose Voucher families are aware of the many services and activities available to support and increase their health and wellbeing. The Rose Vouchers Project is an integral part of the wider Family Hub team at 1st Place, so you will be working in a busy environment, with colleagues who are all as committed to providing a friendly service and positive experience for families as you are.

Refugee Legal Support works in solidarity with people who migrate. The role

Our recent growth and ambitious plans for the future mean that RLS needs to raise more sustainable funding than ever before. The new Fundraising Officer role will be central to this, playing a key role in the future of the organisation. 

You’ll work closely with the Fundraising Lead to secure the financial support to allow the organisation to thrive and fight alongside more people who need our legal support. 

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Researching, identifying and pursuing funding opportunities: you’ll proactively seek out and apply for funding opportunities to maximise income from trusts, foundations, and other relevant sources.

• Funder relationship management: you’ll build and nurture relationships with existing and potential funders, ensuring their continued support and engagement with our cause.

• Reporting and budget management: you’ll work with the Fundraising Lead to prepare detailed reports on fundraising activities, monitor progress against targets, and design budgets that align with our strategic goals.

• Drafting communications: you’ll draft compelling communications and fundraising materials, utilising your excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage donors and stakeholders.

• Supporting and leading other fundraising initiatives: you’ll contribute to the development and execution of various fundraising strategies, including individual giving and major donor engagement, to diversify and strengthen our funding base.
