Join our amazing volunteer team to raise awareness of the issues affecting blind and partially sighted people in relation to sport. You will give talks in person or virtually, sharing your own story to improve understanding of sight loss to sports clubs, sporting venues and facilities and community groups. You’ll be making a real difference to people living with sight loss by helping to improve accessibility and inclusivity, creating a sporting world without barriers.
What you’ll be doing
1. Talks to sports and physical activity providers to support and encourage them to consider the needs of blind and partially sighted people by sharing your story to audiences, for example, local leisure centres, sporting venues and sports clubs.
2. Delivering talks to raise awareness of existing sporting and physical activity opportunities for blind and partially sighted people.
3. Representing RNIB as an Ambassador for the Community Connection service.

The role:
The Events team at Bi Pride UK is one of the core operational teams within the charity. The team handles programming, production and execution of our events, including our annual flagship Bi Pride event, which holds the record for the largest Bi Pride event in the world. This role will sit within the Events Administration sub-team, who are responsible for organising and performing administrative tasks to support the Events team to deliver smooth and highly successful events.
We are looking for a motivated and highly organised Main Stage Administrator to support the smooth operational production of Bi Pride 2026. The Main Stage Administrator will work closely with the Main Stage sub-team, who are responsible for our largest stage at Bi Pride, which hosts performances from musicians, drag artists, cabaret performers, comedians and many more fantastic artists. This role will provide dedicated administrative support to the Main Stage Manager and Assistant Managers, as well as working with volunteers across the Events Team and wider charity. The holder of this role will join a supportive team and contribute to defining and improving the internal processes involved in producing Bi Pride 2026.
Key tasks of this role will include:

Working closely with the Main Stage Manager and Main Stage Assistant Managers to ensure efficient organisation of the administrative activity relating to the Main Stage;

Monitoring a shared Main Stage sub-team email inbox, including answering queries and escalating emails to the appropriate internal volunteer as required;

The Role:
We are currently seeking a Finance Trustee to join our Board as Treasurer. It’s a voluntary role that requires a committed individual with financial expertise to take a collaborative approach, supporting our Trustees, our Head of Finance and Governance, and our management team to oversee the financial affairs of our charity and ensure that they are legal, constitutional, and within accepted accounting practice.

Treasurer Role:
The primary role is to ensure alongside other Trustees that they accept ultimate responsibility for the affairs of G&C and ensure that it is solvent, well run, and delivering the charitable outcomes for which it has been set up. As well as fulfilling the duties of a Trustee, the Treasurer ensures that effective and appropriate financial measures, controls, and procedures are put in place and reports to the Board at regular intervals about the financial health of the organisation.

Who are we looking for?
At present we are working towards being fully operational, over the next year Living Reasons will be looking to expand its reach.
As a Volunteer Integrated Technology Project Lead with Living Reasons, you will oversee the project management of technology integration across all aspects of our operations, including both software and hardware. Living Reasons is being created to fix what we think is a challenging situation that is getting harder to achieve every week, month and year in the current economic, political, environmental and societal landscape. Bi Pride UK’s mission is to create spaces where people who experience attraction beyond gender can be freely visible and celebrate themselves and their identities. It’s not enough to be ‘welcome’ at Pride. We make up a very large proportion of the queer community – the 2021 Census actually shows we’re half of the community – and we deserve to be visible and celebrated in our own right.

Organising a high-profile annual Bi Pride event – from September 2019, Bi Pride UK made history with the largest ever gathering of bi people recorded. A performance stage, a panel stage, stall village, street food, and over 1,300 attendees. After going virtual with the BiFi Festival for 2020 due to Covid-19 and running a virtual Pride event in 2021, we came back in person in 2022 with a hybrid event, and have been running the event in this format ever since

The role:
The Events team at Bi Pride UK is one of the core operational teams within the charity. The team handles programming, production and execution of our events, including our annual flagship Bi Pride event, which holds the record for the largest Bi Pride event in the world. This role will sit within the Events Administration sub-team; who are responsible for organising and performing administrative tasks to support the Events team to deliver smooth and highly successful events.
We are looking for a motivated and highly organised Stalls Administrator to support the smooth operational production of Bi Pride 2026. The Stalls Administrator will work closely with the Stalls sub-team, who are responsible for organising the stalls area within Bi Pride UK’s events; a space which hosts stalls from bi+ community groups, LGBTQ+ charities, small businesses and other fantastic organisations. This role will provide administrative support to the Stalls Manager and Assistant Manager, as well as working with volunteers across the Events team and wider charity. The holder of this role will join a supportive team and contribute to defining and improving the internal processes involved in producing Bi Pride 2026.
Key tasks of this role will include:

Working closely with the Stalls Manager and Stalls Assistant Managers to ensure efficient organisation of the administrative activity relating to the Stalls sub-team;

Monitoring a shared Stalls sub-team email inbox, including answering queries and escalating emails to the appropriate internal volunteer as required;
-
Facilitating and tracking the completion of stall holder contracts, and maintaining accurate record keeping of the documentation;
-
Receiving invoices from stall holders, maintaining accurate record keeping of these documents and sharing documentation with the Finance team to process payments;
-
Liaising with the Stalls sub-team and the stall holders to gather required information, and sharing this information with the Media & Comms team in a timely manner for the production of Event related assets and promotional materials;

Attending regular Events team meetings, including Stalls sub-team meetings and venue visits, to contribute to the smooth planning and execution of the event.
Our team volunteers remotely from anywhere in the UK, with some travel required occasionally (primarily for our flagship Pride event in London in August). All reasonable expenses incurred are reimbursed, including travel, lunch at away days and other all day events, and some childcare costs if required. The successful candidate will be invited to fortnightly Events team meetings on Wednesday evenings via conference call, in addition to Events Administration sub-team and Stalls sub-team meetings, which will be scheduled in line with the team’s best availability.

Reiza Health Care initiative (RHCI)
We connect donors with verified Tanzanian patients to fund and coordinate essential medical care.
The REIZA Health Care Initiative (RHCI) was founded in response to the growing health disparities affecting vulnerable communities across Tanzania, particularly women and children. Many families in rural and low-income urban areas face enormous barriers to accessing quality medical care due to high costs, limited hospital capacity, and long referral delays. As a result, patients with treatable conditions such as congenital deformities, hernias, or heart disease often remain untreated, leading to preventable disability and suffering.
Driven by these challenges, Dr. Ibrahim Batalingaya and Dr Bege Zimbwe established RHCI to bridge the gap between underserved patients and the healthcare system. The organization partners with local government offices and hospitals to identify, coordinate, and fund treatment for patients who cannot afford medical costs. Through this model, RHCI promotes health equity by ensuring that access to essential healthcare is not determined by income or geography but by need.
At RHCI, we have created a crowdfunding system through our official platform www.rhci.co.tz designed to connect compassionate donors directly with patients in need of medical care. The system allows individuals, organizations, and well-wishers to view verified patient stories, learn about their diagnoses and treatment needs, and contribute directly toward covering their medical, transport, and recovery costs.
Each case uploaded to the RHCI platform is verified by local government offices and reviewed by medical professionals to ensure authenticity and transparency. Once funding is received, RHCI coordinates the patient’s treatment at partnered hospitals such as Kitonka Medical Hospital, providing follow-up updates to donors about the patient’s progress. Beyond offering a transparent and trustworthy fundraising avenue, the platform serves as a digital bridge between underserved families and global supporters, making it easier for anyone, anywhere, to take part in transforming lives and promoting health equity across Tanzania.
