We are looking for a Community Fundraising Lead to join the Supporter Led fundraising team at Scope.
You will be responsible for strategically developing and delivering Scope’s Community Fundraising income stream. You will lead your team in the development and growth of our community fundraising, including the development of do it yourself (DIY) fundraising products to support community fundraising efforts.
You will be responsible for setting and reporting on clear objectives and key performance indicator (KPI) milestones to deliver the community fundraising strategy. Your team will be responsible for ensuring that fundraisers and volunteers have an excellent experience with Scope, optimising the income they raise through community events and ensuring their long term support of the charity.
The role
As the Community Fundraising Lead, you will set the vision and strategy for community fundraising at Scope:
· Develop a Community Fundraising strategy for Scope and lead your team in its implementation.
· Review the performance, opportunities, and risks of existing community fundraising activity. Take action to leverage opportunities that maximise income, engagement, and brand exposure, and minimise risk.
· Drive an audience led approach to innovation, establishing a community fundraising programme that inspires and engages local communities working closely with Services and Retail colleagues.
· Ensure the Community Fundraising programme aligns with Scope’s charitable goals and vision, working collaboratively with stakeholders across departments.
· Lead your team to develop do it yourself (DIY) fundraising products and ideas to support community fundraising efforts.
About you
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced fundraising leader, with experience in developing and building successful community fundraising programmes.
· Proven track record in fundraising, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
· Experience in building and growing community fundraising income
· In-depth understanding of fundraising strategies, techniques, and best practices.
· Experience in developing and managing complex budgets including financial modelling and reforecasts.
· Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience in managing and motivating a team.
· Ability to analyse data and trends to inform fundraising decisions.
· Experience in building relationships with and multiple stakeholders.
· Knowledge of fundraising and marketing compliance
· Keeps up to date with sector and community fundraising trends and embeds these within their work.
· Experience in managing external agencies and working with internal creative teams.
· Experience in managing and coordinating fundraisers and volunteers

Main Purpose
This is a key role in Learning and Work Institute, leading our team and work in Wales and part of L&W's Senior Management Team. Duties and Responsibilities
Income generation and diversification. Identify and secure new sources of income including the production of high quality, successful funding applications, working with colleagues across the organisation where appropriate.
Strategy and financial planning. Lead development and implementation of L&W's strategic plan in Wales, including working with our Wales Strategy Group and maximizing opportunities for impact, and ensuring the financial sustainability of L&W’s work in Wales.
Stakeholder engagement. Build effective and productive relationships across the public, private and third sectors in Wales, including with ministers, special advisers and senior officials in the Welsh Government, and other key influencers, to maximise our impact
Leadership and management. Be an active member of SMT and organisational leader, promoting joined-up working and L&W as a great place to work. Lead our Wales team, ensuring they have opportunities to further develop. Act at all times in an inclusive, collaborative, open way that lives our values.
Project management. Ensuring our portfolio of work in Wales is delivered on time, on budget, and to a high quality, and making the links between projects so they have maximum impact.
Strategic communications. Proactively promote L&W’s external profile and key messages through PR, marketing and media activity. Ensure L&W adheres at all times to Welsh language standards.

At an exciting time in JGDR's fundraising, we are looking for volunteering & community fundraising officers to support our communities in North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire. It is a great opportunity to join a passionate team.
Hours: 35 hours per week (with occasional weekend and evening working as and when the role requires)
Location: This is a hybrid role, with regular travel required across the North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire regions, including visits to our charity shops and centres. Weekend and evening work will be expected, as and when the role requires. Post holders will be expected to be working flexibly across their community 4 days out of 5 – with at least one day per week from our North Lincolnshire Centre – and attend regular team meetings in an agreed location.

Job summary
We are looking for a proactive, confident and supporter-focused fundraiser to build and manage relations with JGDR’s local community across North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire. Working with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager, you will deliver a strategy to grow income and volunteer numbers from the local community. This is a varied role which will cover:
· Stewarding and recruiting supporters undertaking their own fundraising activities, including those taking part in challenge events
· Organising & attending local events to raise awareness and income
· Proactively approaching and working with local &national businesses
· Recruiting and overseeing a network of volunteers who can support income generation in your local area. This role would suit a target-driven, approachable and resourceful fundraiser with ambition and drive – there is plenty of opportunity to make this role your own and drive forward growth in these crucial income streams.
Your role
You will sit in the Volunteering and Community Fundraising team, and report to the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager. You will manage your own time to effectively balance both developing and stewarding relationships with individual and corporate supporters in the local area and working through a network of volunteers to deliver fundraising and retail objectives.
You will develop and grow strong relationships with supporters, collaborating with colleagues across the wider organisation to ensure you are offering the best supporter experience you can. You will attend local events with, and through, volunteers, work with colleagues in our retail and operation sites, and spot other opportunities to promote JGDR in your community and drive support for our work.
You will deliver excellent stewardship to supporters and volunteers and develop relationships with key local contacts who can help to further JGDR’s mission. You will champion supporter care and ensure that all relevant supporter information is stored on JGDR’s CRM, Donorflex.
Key responsibilities
Community fundraising
· Identify, engage, and steward DIY and community fundraisers, developing strategies to promote fundraising activities in these groups and grow income from your local area
· Proactively pursue local business partnership opportunities, developing a pipeline of potential corporate support and making applications to secure support
· Provide high quality stewardship of supporters, groups and businesses within the community, responding to enquiries in a timely way and ensuring relationships are developed and maintained at a high standard
· Represent JGDR as the first point of contact within the community, promoting our mission, vision, and values alongside fundraising and volunteer opportunities
· Ensure that Donorflex is up-to-date and develop regular reporting mechanisms to inform the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager of outputs and results, and support understanding of the local audiences, including individual supporters, local businesses, and volunteers, and their historical engagement with the charity
Volunteering
· Work with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager and Volunteering Administration Assistant to recruit, induct and train volunteers to support fundraising and other relevant initiatives in the local community
· Via volunteer support, oversee the distribution of collection boxes in your local area, monitoring and reporting on income generated
· Coordinate and attend – supported by a network of volunteers – key local events, e.g. county shows, to raise awareness of JGDR in the local community and drive support for the charity amongst target audience groups.
· Ensure JGDR retail shops, and their volunteers, in your area have relevant and timely information on current fundraising campaigns and other initiatives to share with customers
· Ensure that the Volunteering database, Volunteero, is up to date
Other duties
· Contribute content for social media, fundraising newsletters, publications and local media to support marketing objectives and increase our engagement with adopters, supporters and donors online
· Keep up to date with sector trends and developments in community and regional fundraising, and volunteering
· Ensure all fundraising activities and events operate within best practice and regulatory guidelines and comply with health and safety requirements.
· Act as a champion for fundraising compliance across the organisation, including ensuring adherence to the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice, the General Data Protection Act and PECR, and other relevant legislative requirements.
· Manage any complaints from supporters efficiently and sensitively
· Act as a collaborative role model to the wider team, and build strong working relationships with colleagues across the wider charity to be an internal ambassador for Fundraising and Marketing

Role Summary
This senior leadership role will oversee the strategic planning, management and reporting of the Natural History Museum’s major fundraising campaign NHM150, the campaign to raise £150m to revitalise our South Kensington home ahead of our 150th anniversary. The successful candidate will combine exceptional relationship-building skills with proven campaign management expertise to support the Development team’s fundraising objectives. Reporting to the Director of Development the post-holder will lead a team of development professionals to deliver insightful prospect research, manage systems for donor journeys and lead on excellent donor stewardship for the Development team. They will also manage the continuous improvement of the Development CRM and ensure that excellent income processing and reporting systems are in place. A key member of the Development Group’s Senior Leadership Team, the post-holder will work with colleague across the Museum to ensure that the NHM150 Campaign and major funding bids are aligned with the Museum’s wider strategy and operating plan.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Support the development of campaign strategies aligned with organisational priorities and timelines
- Work with the Director of Development and the heads of fundraising to establish fundraising goals, metrics, and benchmarks for campaign success
- Create detailed campaign plans including case statements, prospect identification, solicitation strategies, and timeline management
- Collaborate with executive leadership and NHM150 Fellows to continue to refine campaign objectives and messaging
Campaign Execution & Management
- Manage campaign logistics including, communications, materials development, and donor cultivation activities
- Liaise closely with the Head of Special Events to ensure that NHM150 projects and donors are at the heart of NHM hosted events
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including development staff, communications, finance, and external consultants
- Monitor campaign progress against established metrics and adjust strategies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organisational policies
Prospect Research and Stewardship
- Lead the prospect research function responsible for identifying major gift and partnerships prospects including individuals, foundations, corporations, and government entities
- Develop and lead prospect tracking and management systems ensuring excellent cultivation and solicitation plans are in place across the Development function
- With the support of the Director of Development’s Executive Assistant coordinate volunteer engagement and peer-to-peer fundraising activities
- Lead the stewardship function, ensuring that Development wide policies are developed and implemented and that these are coordinated with colleagues across the Museum, and that donors are recognised and stewarded to the highest standards.
Development Operations
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing off all Development income, liaising closely with colleagues in Finance to improve and maintain accurate and insightful reporting to improve planning.
- Manage the smooth and effective running of Development Group’s CRM (Raisers Edge) ensuring compliant, accurate and effective systems
- Ensure the Database and Reporting Manager oversees a pipeline of donor data screening, cleaning and segmentation in order to ensure accuracy, consistency and functionality of data, and that clear and accessible training and procedures are in place for and delivered to database users
- Ensure accurate and timely management of the Development Group’s corporate expenditure, including CRM supplier, membership bodies and regulatory costs.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of development professionals, providing guidance on campaign strategies and donor management
- Recruit, train, and supervise campaign staff and consultants as needed
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on achieving campaign objectives
- Provide professional development opportunities and performance management for direct reports
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Experience of working strategically and contributing to the development and implementation of organisational strategy and business planning within a not-for-profit/fundraising environment
- Experience of analysing, interpreting and communicating complex management information to senior stakeholders, including developing and monitoring effective KPIs

Purpose of the post
The Engagement and Involvement Lead will engage with young people, families, schools and other interest-holders in the process of designing, delivering and ensuring the best outputs from the Adolescent Health Study, and is critical for the success of the project. We are at the early stages of laying the foundations for this and in this new role we are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to co-ordinate and lead AHS’s cross-UK participant and public involvement and engagement activities.
This is a role that requires high levels of confidence, autonomy, enthusiasm and skill. The postholder will be responsible for delivering the project’s new Engagement and Involvement Strategy, including: establishing and coordinating a Young Persons’ Advisory Group for AHS; developing and delivering AHS public engagement and involvement activities; outsourcing and supervising engagement and involvement activities that are better provided by external partners; scoping and advising on which routes for involvement and engagement activities are best suited to different tasks.
Main responsibilities
Planning & strategy delivery
· Ensuring the study delivers the values and approaches set out in the AHS engagement and involvement strategy
· Planning, delivering and reporting on an ongoing, regular and important programme of engagement events and activities

o Managing and supporting Youth Advisors

The Head of Finance is a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) of Modern Art Oxford and is responsible for managing and reporting on the finances of the charity, acting as Company Secretary.
The role is supported by the Senior Finance Officer and Finance Assistant.
Responsibilities
Finance
- To work closely with the Director on the preparation of the business plan and to take a leading role within SMT on monitoring and reporting to ensure its successful delivery.
- To lead on budgeting processes including three- to five-year plans, detailed annual budgets, cash flow forecasts and in-year re-forecasts.
- To be responsible for reporting on the overall financial position of the organisation, including the statutory accounts, management accounts and reports to budget-holders, ensuring that budgets are adhered to, that cash flow is managed, that effective cost control mechanisms are in place, that revenue is maximised and that there is timely and accurate financial reporting to SMT and the Board of Trustees.
- To ensure that best practice, statutory and organisational requirements are met in the operation of financial controls, the management of funds, charity accounting, Endowments Funds and investments, and taxation.
- To ensure the safety and security of the organisation’s financial assets.
- To prepare and submit the annual Museums & Galleries Exhibition Tax Relief (MGETR) submission, Gift Aid and all other tax rebates.
- To liaise with the external auditors for the annual audit of the statutory accounts and management of the pensions and other professional financial services as required, being the main contact in the organisation for the bank, auditors and pension providers.
- To liaise with pension trustees and other employers of the PSATSA closed defined benefit scheme, including triennial revaluations and negotiation of affordable repayments, reporting to the Trustees and Director.

About the Role
As CEO, you will lead the strategic and operational development of the Society, with a particular focus on:

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is to see a time when no deaf person feels alone, is seeking a high-value corporate partnership professional to lead their new corporate fundraising function.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.
Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. The Head of Corporate Partnerships will play a key role in this growth, helping Hearing Dogs deliver their goals to diversify and grow income, increase brand visibility and increase engagement and impact.
This role will be responsible for leading and delivering a high-performing corporate fundraising strategy to secure, grow and sustain impactful partnerships with the corporate sector, forging long collaborations that align business interests with Hearing Dog’s mission. The role will also sit on the Senior Management Team within the new directorate, playing an important part in shaping strategic direction. As well as managing a team of corporate fundraisers, the post-holder will personally lead on high-value partnership development and stewardship, and building a strong pipeline of prospects using insight-led prospect research and industry intelligence.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in securing and managing high-value corporate partnerships and of leading a corporate fundraising function within the charity sector. You will have a commercial mindset with excellent leadership, as well as relationship building skills at senior levels. You will be a strategic thinker with gravitas and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, as well have a sound understanding of CSR, ESG and the motivations behind corporate-charity collaborations.

What you’ll do
Since 2019, we have been building a cross-cutting thematic programme using our investor accountability, corporate engagement and public policy toolkit to build a movement to harness the power of the investment system to address commercial determinants of health.
In 2022, we launched Long-Term Investors in People’s Health (LIPH), a cross-cutting programme of work leveraging our toolkit of investor accountability, corporate engagement and policy advocacy. It is one of ShareAction’s largest programmes. Since the launch of LIPH, we have run high-profile campaigns to get large food manufacturers and retailers to improve their health disclosures and sell healthier products via our Healthy Markets Initiative (HMI); recently set up a Clean Air Initiative (CAI); mobilised investors to engage with corporates, the UK government, and standard-setting bodies on issues such as clean air and sick leave policies; and partnered with academics to grow the evidence base on the financial materiality of health. We have ambitious plans to take this work forward and are looking for a new Head of the team to help us do so.
As Head of Health, you will:
- Oversee and contribute to the successful implementation of ShareAction’s strategy to tackle poor health via its LIPH programme, a cross-cutting programme of work leveraging our toolkit of investor accountability, corporate engagement and policy advocacy.
- Lead and motivate a team of 10 staff members and directly line manage at least three of them.
- Ensure adequate risk management and monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes are in place.
- Together with the Fundraising team and Co-Director of Corporate Engagement, be responsible for securing funding for the LIPH programme, including writing funding bids, supporting with relationship management, supporting the coordination of our Funders’ Governance Group, and helping produce update reports.
- Plan, manage and report on budget for the LIPH programme, delegating workstream and campaign budgets where there are appropriate leads.
- Develop and nurture strategic relationships with senior external stakeholders, including funders, journalists, investors, and civil society organisations.
- Act as one of ShareAction’s subject matter experts on commercial determinants of health, keeping your knowledge up to date with developments across academia, civil society, and public policy.
- Act as a media spokesperson for the team and represent it in internal and external forums.
- Work with peers at the “Head of” level to play a leadership role across ShareAction.

What you’ll bring to the team

It would be desirable for you to have:
- Substantial experience leading and/or feeding into an advocacy campaign.
- Previous experience securing philanthropic funding for programmes of work.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Experience speaking directly to the media and representing an organisational position.
- Proficiency with common office software, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, Cascade, and Salesforce.

You will;
- Primarily work across the West Somerset area, with the ability to cover other areas of somerset as required.
- Assist people with dementia and their carers in identifying their needs, providing information and guidance to help maintain their independence, improving their sense of well-being, and putting them in more control of their lives.
- Build relationships with a range of local contacts, networking with health and care professionals, and providing dementia support.
- Develop networks and pathways with partner organisations who work in the field of dementia, ensuring seamless and consistent support and empowering individuals affected by dementia to make informed choices.
- Provide support face-to-face, by telephone and online and keeping detailed and confidential records.
About you
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an understanding of dementia, and the needs of those living with and those caring for people with the condition. We are looking for someone who is approachable and knowledgeable to join our experienced and passionate team.
Our Dementia Adviser’s provide person centred support for those living with dementia; in their home, face to face, over the telephone and virtually; to give people the tools, knowledge and strategies to live well and make informed decisions about their future. As a community-based worker, you will be required to attend a range of meetings, appointments and venues as well as working from home.

You will;
