Age UK's Digital & Technology division is recruiting for an Asset and Dispatch Team Leader to join our customer-centric team. The Service Desk is embarking on an exciting time as we look to create lots of new processes, procedures and working practices. The Service Desk will become the Single Point of Contact for all IT related incidents and requests.

You will lead a team of Service Desk Analysts within the Warrington office, with responsibility for tasks related to operational performance and people management. You'll be involved in reviewing and updating Service Desk related processes and procedures, co-ordinating Service Desk Analyst coaching and mentoring. This role will focus on managing Age UK hardware assets across all sites.

The team will provide first touch support for all of Age UK's IT Infrastructure - including desktop, software and mobile device management and Telephony (includes Incidents, Requests and Changes). You'll work on operational and administrative activities associated with the Service Desk - including reports, account management, moves, adds, deletes and changes.

Passionate about providing a brilliant Customer Experience, you'll be proactive in monitoring call volumes, queues and data on a daily basis to help to ensure optimal ticket levels and responsible for ticket logging and allocation within the ITSM tool, setting an example on ticket management.

Data-driven, you'll carry out Service Desk reporting and trend analysis activities and play a key role in managing the Asset database and management process.

This role offers hybrid working, where you'll spend up to 3 days a week on-site in our Warrington office, plus ad-hoc cover as requested, working the rest of the time from home.

Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Our core hours are 08:00 until 19:00 with cover required on a rota basis across the Service Desk leadership team.

Additional Information

The CHWS opened in 2022 with the aim of providing advice, information, and specialist support to Croydon residents with mental health concerns, who drop-in, or have been referred to the via the local Integrated Care Network Plus multi-disciplinary clinical and community mental health support teams.

The Advice Worker will be part of a friendly team, including support workers, crisis workers and clinical mental health professionals and function as the first point of access for visitors to the CHWS. Following an initial conversation to ascertain the clients’ needs, the Advice Worker will provide information and advice, as well as signposting and referrals to specialist services, such as the Mental Health Personal Independence Co-ordinators, Social Prescribers and Community Link Workers, in addition to the wider voluntary and statutory services in the borough. About you

Summary of Role

This is an exciting new role in our Talking Therapies team providing vital support to people in Manchester with common mental health problems. Working alongside counsellors, you will provide wrap-around social and practical support to adults on our waiting list for or who are engaging in Talking Therapy to enable them to address and overcome barriers impacting on their health and wellbeing. You will provide advice, information and guidance on these issues, make onward referrals to specialist advice organisations where necessary and support engagement with these services. 

You will build and maintain relationships with key referrers, such as GP surgeries, to promote the service and facilitate appropriate referrals.

Once trained, you have the exciting task of leading and facilitating a new course within the service: Living Life to the Full™, a CBT-informed group programme designed to support people to improve low mood, overcome stress, sleep better and build confidence.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Programme Officer to join our Work Experience Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, enthusiastic and confident individual to join us in a role which has responsibility for ensuring suitable and safe work experience placements are sourced, managed and available for students. Our Work Experience programme provides a taster of the ‘World of Work’ helping to raise career aspirations and support academic progression.  Our team work with local and central London employers and education providers and provide placements for over 5,000 young people each academic year. 

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

• To secure, update and manage work experience placements.
• To handle telephone enquiries about the work experience programme, communicating with teachers, employers, parents and schools.
• To be a key point of contact for schools/educational establishments managing and overseeing the work experience process.
• To produce information and provide support to the Head of Work Experience and other team members.
• Completing one-to-one interviews with students with additional needs to ensure suitable placements are secured.
• Managing placements using a bespoke IT system.

Financial Administrator reporting to the Finance & Operations Manager.  The role of Finance Administrator is a crucial one in our small Finance team, where the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records. This position requires strong organisational skills, an attention to detail, enthusiasm for figures and good financial practice. The Financial Administrator must be able to work independently as well as alongside the Finance & Operations Manager and Supporter Care Team.

To provide administrative support to the Fundraising Team, and to ensure smooth day to day running of the Fundraising Office.  The role will build, manage and nurture relationships with supporters and the post holder will deliver by recording accurate information about donors and assisting with donor queries

This post will suit a highly organised and compassionate individual with excellent communication skills.
