We're looking for a Head of Individual Giving & Legacies to lead our talented teams and drive significant income growth through multi-channel marketing and supporter engagement. This role plays a vital part in the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association's fundraising strategy, with responsibility for developing innovative approaches, managing a substantial income budget, and delivering an exceptional experience for our donors, supporters and those leaving gifts in

You'll oversee a committed team, working collaboratively across the organisation and with external partners. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who brings strategic insight, strong leadership, and a track record in growing income in Individual Giving and/or Legacy fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and delivery of the Individual Giving and Legacies multi-channel strategy to achieve ambitious income targets.
• Support, develop, and manage a high-performing team.
• Identify and assess new opportunities for growth, leading associated business cases and change processes.
• Oversee supplier and agency relationships, ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively and within budget.
• Work with an external Legacy Administration LLP to ensure gifts in Wills are administered promptly, in line with delegated responsibilities.
• Collaborate across teams to support shared goals and deliver an engaging supporter journey.
• Work with the Data & Insight and Finance teams to understand campaign performance and monitoring key metrics.
• Promote best practice in supporter experience, audience segmentation and journey planning.
• Manage an income budget of approximately £15 million.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, incorporating changes as needed.
• Contribute to relevant management groups and support the wider leadership team.

• Proven experience of increasing income and enhancing supporter engagement in Individual Giving and/or Legacies.

This role is a key member of a small team of the Girlguiding North West England Region Office. Under the leadership of the Executive Manager. This role will contribute to the provision of a range of services to support membership growth. The successful applicant must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  They must be able to build positive relationships with staff and volunteers at all levels and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will be employed by the IUCN UK Peatland Programme’s host organisation, the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts. The new team member will have the level of knowledge and experience to drive forward and promote biodiversity assessment and quantification within peatland restoration and woodland creation projects. About You 

We are looking for a highly organised Project Manager to lead our Biodiversity Crediting project in collaboration with the Woodland Carbon Code. 

This is a unique opportunity to join the IUCN UK Peatland Programme team, supporting the Peatland Code (PC) and UK Woodland Carbon Code (WCC), the UKs leading domestic carbon standards. The PC is the quality assurance standard for peatland restoration projects and the WCC is this for woodland projects in the UK. Both generate independently verified carbon units and this project will support the aspiration to provide biodiversity credits in the near future. This is an exciting time in the development of the Peatland Code and Woodland Carbon Code. The Biodiversity Crediting Project Manager will lead on a new FIRNS 3 (Facility for Investment ready Nature in Scotland) project to develop the methods, documentation, governance, and infrastructure to enable biodiversity crediting for woodland creation and peatland restoration projects in Scotland, including the capability to either stack carbon and biodiversity payments within the same project (where additionality rules allow), or explicitly bundle the two quantified outcomes into one ‘credit’ that is sold on the basis of a known level of biodiversity uplift alongside carbon credits. 

You need to be able to manage many conflicting priorities, keep all project partners regularly updated and ensure the project delivery milestones are met. You will work in the rapid developing arena of voluntary biodiversity/nature markets and will need to keep on top of the latest national and international market developments. 

You will be responsible for the day-to-day project management of the Biodiversity Crediting Project. This will include managing multiple stakeholders and funding partners for this, good organisational and communication skills are critical and the ability to digest technical information and communicate it in an accessible way is key. Further, as part of a team, you will support the operation and promotion of the Peatland Code. This means you will have excellent project management and presentation skills, as well as being highly organised in your work.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver M2M’s community and beneficiary events, managing logistics, communications, and on-the-day coordination (driving license required) and post-event evaluation.

• Oversee the M2M UK events calendar and support budget planning for each activity.

• Coordinate and support volunteers, especially those leading Together Outdoors walks across the UK.

• Liaise with external providers and partners for UK-based adventure experiences.

• Manage and maintain our CRM system to track sign-ups, engagement, and communications.

• Update website content with event listings, registration links, and community updates.

• Work closely with our social media lead to publicise events, event fundraising campaigns and boost visibility.

• Support the creation of new wellness and fundraising initiatives in collaboration with the wider team.

• Helping with fundraising campaign and event logistics, materials and administration to keep everything running smoothly.

• Contribute to our overall community engagement strategy and identify opportunities for growth and connection.

We have a new and exciting opportunity to work with us as an Evidence Officer, working as part of the Strategy, Impact and Evidence team. 

Sustrans’ Strategy, Impact and Evidence team is a leading centre of excellence in active travel research, monitoring and evaluation and we are recruiting now. As an Evidence Officer, you will work on a range of behaviour change and infrastructure projects, providing monitoring, evaluation, and analytical support. The Strategy, Impact and Evidence teamplays an important part in supporting our vision by providing robust evidence on sustainable and active travel that ultimately influences and shapes policy, practice and behaviour across the UK.

Focusing on monitoring and evaluating the impact of infrastructure and behaviour change programmes, you will work on a range of projects around the UK and be involved in the planning, delivery, analysis and reporting of our monitoring and evaluation work. 

We offer true hybrid working, a flexible mix of working from home and occasional travel to a nearby office hub. There is minimal travel required in this role, however in the course of your work you may have to travel to one of the nominated hubs or project sites if required to do so. 

About you

You should have demonstrable quantitative and/or qualitative analytical skills, and be a competent Excel user or have working knowledge of statistical software, such as R.

The Development Assistant is an essential part of the Cathedral’s fundraising function and provides important support to the team, streamlining processes, acting as a first point of contact and managing the fundraising database for the organisation.

As Development Assistant you will:

· Have fantastic communication skills and excellent customer service as the first point of contact for all enquiries and managing the Fundraising inbox.

· Enhance the development team through robust administration processes and providing essential administrative support across all income streams, including administering the Cathedral’s Planned Giving scheme.

· Work with the Finance team to efficiently manage payment processes and administration and ensure timely acknowledgement of gifts.

· Support excellent donor engagement and stewardship through thank you letters, mailings, creation of literature and event co-ordination and support.

· Assist collating information and co-ordinating regular supporter communications across different channels to inspire people and demonstrate the impact of support.

· Deepen supporter relationships through accurately recording all income and activities on the Cathedral’s CRM system. Maximise the effectiveness of the CRM and keeping records up to date. (We are currently reviewing our systems, and this role will be instrumental in supporting implementation of any new systems.)

· Assist in the preparation and analysis of data and reports for use by the wider team to support future plans and activity.

· Amplify the prospecting work of the team by undertaking preliminary research and preparing briefing materials, in consultation with members of the team.

· Showcase the work of the Cathedral through supporting event organisation.

· Be keen to develop your fundraising skills and undertake relevant training and skills development to keep up to date with the changing requirements of the role.

· Support the team through additional duties as reasonably required to assist the smooth and efficient running of the Development Team and maximise the impact of the fundraising function. Some weekend and out of hours working may be required.

This role will take on the leadership of Bite Back's content and communications function during a critical and exciting time. This role requires a bold and dynamic communicator who can lead storytelling, oversee content strategy, and guide a high-performing team to deliver integrated campaigns across our owned and earned channels. We’re looking for someone with a strong editorial eye, people management skills, and the confidence to lead in cross-organisational settings. You’ll work closely with our campaigners, young spokespeople, and senior team to ensure we continue delivering creative, culturally relevant and impactful communications.

The Comms & Content Senior Manager will be responsible for leading our creative storytelling. They will oversee the production of high quality content for all of Bite Back’s channels and communications moments. They will be a strong leader, serving as a guardian for our brand narrative and upskilling the team to deliver high quality content tailored to the channels and audiences that will advance Bite Back’s impact. They will support the Head of Communications with the execution of Bite Back’s overarching communications strategy, ensuring our content and media coverage consistently contribute to our brand and campaigns objectives.

Our partner is seeking a consultant to conduct a review of its finance function, including structure, processes and systems with a view of improving effectiveness and efficiency. This exercise stems from the fact that the finance function of the organisation has developed organically over the course of the organisation’s life and growth, covering the expansion of programmes and the opening of new administrative offices.

Scope of the Review

• Review of the current structure - assess what functions are best delivered in each location, the skillset of finance staff and what capacity is needed in each location to deliver these services.
• Review of the processes and systems; and make recommendations on how processes might be streamlined to address bottlenecks and streamline these.
• Advise on how the finance function might operate more effectively as a global function
• Advise on what IT/systems solutions might further improve efficiency

Requirements

• A qualified senior finance professional with experience of change management within an international not for profit, specifically reviewing the structure of the finance function, undertaking in-depth review and analysis of global processes and systems.
• Experience of working in a complex grant-funded environment with knowledge of full grants cycle management.
• Strong relationship building, communication and influencing skills.

They anticipate this project to start in October 2025, ending in December 2025. The postholder will be working closely with the COO who has a vision of what the change process will entail, alongside two other significant pieces of work the organisation is undertaking at the same time.
