The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Partnerships Manager to join our small and dynamic team. This new role will support the Head of Partnerships and wider WFN team in delivering our fundraising strategy, stewarding high-value donor relationships, and unlocking new opportunities for income growth. 

The Partnerships Manager will work directly with some of WFN’s existing portfolio of 30 Major Donors made up primarily of Trusts, Family Foundations and High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) supporters, with some Corporates. The Partnerships Manager will maintain close professional relationships with supporters that are bespoke and require excellent interpersonal skills, with most meetings taking place in-person, in central London.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Project Manager – Apprentice to join the Estates team. Your role is to contribute to the successful delivery of a number of projects and small works, ensuring the scope and benefits are achieved as planned.

Role Requirements

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to precisely define project scope and objectives, eliciting technical requirements to formulate detailed specifications, cost assessments, and delivery schedules, while maintaining close coordination with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and key milestones.
• Contribute to the development and presentation of key project documents for stakeholder approval and governance.

• Work within agreed budget and available resource, reporting on forecast, spend and raising any variations to the Project Manager.

• Track and assess project performance and outcomes using relevant tools and methodologies to collate and analyse data to report on project performance.
• Identify and monitor project risks and issues; and plan and implement responses to them.

We are hiring a Deputy Manager to deliver quality services to children and young people with learning disabilities and/or Autism.  The job is based in our wonderful five bedded home in Tower Hamlets providing fun-based after school activities and short breaks for a small group of children with Autism in a residential setting.  

The role will involve balancing multiple priorities in running an essential and inspirational service for children and young people with Autism.  You will support with strategic and logistical planning while also carrying out hands-on work alongside the rest of the team, ensuring a child centred approach is maintained at all times, and involving children, young people and parents and carers in decision-making structures. There is ample scope for development, identifying any gaps in existing provisions and expanding services accordingly. This deputy manager will be ambitious to maintain and further develop the positive and invaluable work of this service.

You will support, and be supported by, our Ofsted Registered Manager and be responsible for delivering services that are fully compliant with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. You will ensure the safety of service users' health and wellbeing, leading by example with a positive and person-centred approach.  You will be confident liaising with local authority and Ofsted representatives and be committed to supporting your team to provide and facilitate engaging activity groups aimed at developing the life skills, confidence and relationship building of the people we support.

• You will need to have a minimum of two years of supervisory or team leadership experience ideally in a children’s residential environment or a related field working with children, young adults or adults with learning disabilities.

• You will need to have or be working towards Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.

A major change project has taken place over the last few years to transform our IT systems and support. We have moved to a cloud solution based on Microsoft 365. To support our internal IT roles, we are supported by a managed service provider who are providing ongoing day-to-day support for all our IT users.

This is an exciting role that will play a key part in the delivery of Cranstoun’s IT and digital strategy. You will support the delivery of major business systems projects and support the day-to-day work of the IT team.

You will work closely with the Head of IT and the other IT and Systems Officer in supporting the IT infrastructure and delivering projects to improve the provision of IT and knowledge and digital capabilities across the organisation.

Healthwatch North Northamptonshire is one of more than 150 local Healthwatch formed in response to the Health and Social Care Act 2012.  Healthwatch represents the views and experiences of local people and help communities to exercise greater choice over the services they receive.

Healthwatch North Northamptonshire will champion the health and social care needs of our communities, acting as an independent local voice and ensuring that services meet the needs of our communities and remain high quality.

Our vision is to inspire positive change in North Northamptonshire’s health and social care service through effective community engagement and ensure people and communities have a strong voice to influence and challenge how health and social care services are provided.

We hope to ensure that Healthwatch North Northants has a strong presence, with an effective, proactive and independent local voice.  We act as a ‘critical friend’ to the commissioners and providers of health and social care services to enable progressive and beneficial decisions to be made.

Job Purpose:

Our aim is to raise awareness amongst commissioners, providers and other agencies about the importance of engaging with communities, and the expertise and value that individuals can bring to discussion and decision making on local and national issues.

· By capturing community views through people’s experiences and by understanding and reporting on these experiences to health and social care services.

· Healthwatch can monitor and review how local services are planned and run (except for social care facilities for children and young people) and have the statutory power to ‘Enter and View’ premises delivering health and social care services. This enables authorised representatives of Healthwatch to observe the nature and quality of services, report on their findings and make recommendations so that local authorities and health services can exercise their duty to respond. 

· By providing Information & Signposting Service to help people understand the services available in their local area and to make informed choices about different health and social care services.

KEY TASKS:

To work closely with the Healthwatch NN Advisory Group and the Support Northamptonshire’s CEO to:

1. Fulfil Healthwatch NN’s statutory purpose, contractual requirements and its strategic and operational plans and objectives.

2. Contribute and challenge at a strategic level, influencing and shaping decisions made by commissioners and providers, in line with the vision and priorities of Healthwatch NN.

3. Implement a project management approach to the design and delivery of all workplan activity and deliver on respective programme areas including:

6. Lead on all communications with Healthwatch England, the CQC and other national partners, ensuring the timely distribution of intelligence collated locally, and escalating matters of serious concerns.

The Snowdrop Project is the first organisation in the UK to provide long-term, community based support to survivors of modern slavery and exploitation. We aim to empower survivors of modern slavery and exploitation to recover from their experiences and thrive.
