We are delighted to be recruiting for a Partnerships Officer to join our team. Working alongside other team members, you will play a key role in enhancing the long-term financial sustainability and growth of Mary’s Meals. You will play a key role by providing support through the grant cycle specifically focused on the grant reporting and proposals to existing donors. You will also provide support on reporting and stewardship materials for corporate partnerships and high net worth donors, to meet the needs of our existing donor base and capitalise on opportunities that arise.

Other key duties include:

• Responsible for writing high-quality proposals and reports to a range of major donors, including corporate bodies, HNW individuals, trusts and foundations.
• Support the Partnerships Manager to research, coordinate, and develop strategic philanthropic giving opportunities.
• Provide ongoing support to funding relationship managers within MMI Partnerships team with a focus on major donors and across the Mary’s Meals network in developing relationships and influential networks with a presence in our programme delivery countries and beyond.
• Develop compelling written stories, resources and materials to support the communication and impact of our work
• Work with the Partnerships team to support and coordinate effective organisational systems and processes for the completion of funding pitches, proposals and reports.
• Conduct effective due diligence checks on existing donors and ensure procedures are in place for all partners.
• Maintain global pipeline of existing donors, with the opportunity to uplift and cultivate these relationships

With exceptional organisational skills, you will be comfortable working across multiple projects and coordinating contributions across all parts of the organisation and will bring relevant experience of designing and developing compelling funding proposals and reports. You will have strong writing skills with the ability to tailor your approach to a variety of audiences and bring the impact of our work, and our story, to life. You will be confident in your communications and will have the ability to engage in a variety of interactions with colleagues across the movement. What you’ll do

As Finance Executive, you’ll play a key role in keeping our day-to-day finance operations running smoothly; from processing transactions and performing reconciliations, to ensuring our partners are billed correctly and pay on time. You'll be a key point of contact for finance queries across the business, and your work will be essential to maintaining accurate records and enabling wider decision-making. You'll also play an important role in driving process improvements, and support the team by analysing data and producing insightful reports that inform decision making.

This is a varied role where you’ll get exposure to lots of different areas within the finance function of a SaaS company. It’s perfect if you’re keen to explore your interests and gain a solid grounding across multiple aspects of finance.

• Record, process and reconcile transactions for the company using platforms like Spendesk and Xero, and ensure transactions are accurately recorded and categorised. 
• Manage our finance email inbox, responding to queries from schools, universities and employers. 
• Manage our accounts receivable processes, keeping track of overdue invoices, chasing partners for payment and recording received payments. 
• Support our sales teams with general finance related queries and keeping their partner records up to date on Salesforce (our CRM system).
• Improve, streamline and automate processes within the finance function. 
• Get involved with projects such as:
  • Setting up a simple way to keep track of the subscriptions we pay for, and make sure we’re getting good value from them.
  • Finding solutions to increase the number of invoices paid on time.
  • Creating useful reports and dashboards on Salesforce to aid decision making. 
• Support the Finance Lead to:
  • Prepare the payroll for our accountants (including commission calculations) and manage associated schemes (e.g. pension contributions).
  • Manage our accounts payable processes, making and recording payments. 
  • Work on forecasting and variance analysis to support business planning.
  • Check through our quarterly VAT return.
  • Manage the banking for our much smaller Hong Kong and US companies.
• Support the Head of Finance (your line manager) to:
  • Create the annual budget.
  • Support on ad-hoc projects and data analysis requests.

Who we’re looking for

You’ve got some experience in a finance or operations role, or you can demonstrate that you’ve built the relevant skills in another setting and are ready to learn more.

• You’re organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail that helps keep things running smoothly and accurately.
• You enjoy solving problems and thinking critically about how things can be improved, streamlined or automated.
• You’re quick to learn new systems and tools, you might not have used platforms like Xero or Salesforce before, but you’re keen to get stuck in.
• You take ownership of your work, following through on tasks and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
• You’re proactive and hands-on, excited to go beyond your core responsibilities to improve how we work and help make it a success.
• Being a proficient user of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot table, x-lookup) is a bonus.
• Having an educational background in Finance, Accounting or a Business related discipline is desirable, but not essential.

We’re a small but mighty team of 3 within Finance (this role included). You’ll be line managed by the Head of Finance and will be working very closely with our Finance Lead too. You’ll also have regular contact with most people across the Unifrog, especially our partner-facing teams and the People team. You’ll also be liaising with our external accountants who take lead with the financial accounting and payroll side of things.

About the job

The Chief Data Officer is part of the RDS Leadership team, with responsibility for establishing and overseeing the range of programmes that source the portfolio of datasets available for use in research. About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Support coach to join our team which focus on supporting residents with OPD (Offender Personality Disorder) and related cognitive or behavioural challenges, many of whom have experienced institutional care or social exclusion. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, acting as a mentor and lead for the team, providing advice and guidance, as well as providing specialist expertise to the team and residents. 

You will further deliver one-to-one support with residents directly, developing personalised support plans, risk assessments, facilitating life skills sessions, and help individuals access services, resources, and opportunities within the community. Our support is tailored towards providing person centred support to empower our residents to achieve their personal goals and independent living. You will be instrumental in creating a safe, flexible, inclusive, and psychologically informed environment that promotes dignity, choice, and empowerment.

• Delivering effective 1:1 and group-based support for residents/participants in line with support plans
• Providing specialist advice and guidance to the team and residents

About the role

Our People and Culture team are hiring a Payroll and Pensions Administrator to join the team to support with ensuring our staff are paid efficiently, accurately, and on time. You will play a pivotal part of the team to support with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all, coordinating effective and efficient end-to-end payroll and pensions administration, plus any additional relevant activities. You will utilise the tools and resources available to ensure we meet the needs of all our stakeholders and comply with legal matters. The role will further include:

• Taking ownership of administrative tasks in the payroll and pensions process, being the point of contact for enquiries in this area.
• Supporting the administrative process of payroll and pensions, including with the database/system, ensure that any problems are identified with the relevant departments for effective resolution.
• Ensure Full Payment Submissions (FPS) within tight deadlines and process for all adaptations are carried out in a timely manner.

We are looking for an experienced People Administrator to join our team on a permanent basis. This role offers a great opportunity to join a small busy team providing an excellent administrative service to support the People and Governance team and Bristol SU as a whole. 

Reporting directly to the People Manager, this is a dual-administration role, which requires a candidate to be confident and willing to handle both general, and payroll-related administration, for which full training will be provided. For clarity, the payroll administration aspect of the role does not involve any specialist payroll processing, the requirement is to collate basic payroll-related information accurately from within our people systems to send on to a payroll provider for processing.

The role requires an individual with excellent attention to detail, good communication, sound time management skills, as well as having an approachable, flexible and can-do attitude to work.  Strong skills in basic Excel are also required for the role.  We are seeking an experienced Administrator who is self-motivated, highly organised and who, once trained, will work on their own initiative. Being a dual role carrying out both people and payroll admin, the successful candidate will need to be confident to multitask and prioritise on a regular basis.

We support hybrid working, and this role requires at least 3 days per week in the office due to the nature of the role.
