Gulab Sorkh Foundation (GSF) is an independent charity supporting former members of the Afghan security forces and their families, who have come to the UK under the Government’s Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy (ARAP). Our mission is to help these individuals rebuild their lives, access support, and integrate fully into British society. 

We have recently been awarded new funding under the Communities for Afghans (CfA) Phase 2 programme. This funding allows us to expand our work supporting Afghan families through Sponsor Groups, which is why we are growing our team to ensure we can provide high-quality support to all participants.

You will provide day-to-day support to Afghan families and Sponsor Groups, helping participants navigate practical, social, and community challenges. You’ll work closely with our Sponsor Group Relationship Manager to ensure families receive timely support and guidance, and you will play a key role in facilitating communication between families, Sponsor Groups, and the charity.

Mission Director

Like many mission organisations, in recent years CMS has gone through a process of decentralisation and localisation, resulting in the establishment of CMS-Africa and Asia-CMS within their respective regions. In addition, while CMS once worked primarily through placing people from the West in cross-cultural contexts, we’ve broadened our approach to include supporting local mission organisations and their mission personnel, partnership grant-making and network-building. This post has an occupational requirement for the post holder to be a practising and committed Christian, committed to the aims, values and the ethos statement of CMS. Hours, salary and benefits:

· Permanent and full time (35 hours per week)

Role purpose

With the main objectives of reducing re-offending and helping to protect the public, the RISE practitioner will deliver a range of interventions (individual and group), that RISE may design, commission or be commissioned to deliver in the future, both in the community and in custody.

The main purpose of this role is to support and assist Facilitators, Advanced Practitioner,  Responsible Officers and Service managers  in the administration of the Domestic Abuse contracts delivery by co-ordinating project resources such as people and equipment. The post holder will also be responsible for maintaining information systems linked to specific DA contracts.
 

Key duties and accountabilities

• To undertake a range of administrative duties, including log on cases, tracking and issuing documents to clients.
• Be adept in managing a new client based system.
• Working closely with practitioners to facilitate and schedule service users onto courses or appointments or chasing information.

• Communicate with referrers, specifically social workers, mental health provoiders.

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to provide professional, accurate, and timely financial management and reporting for Repowering London. Key Responsibilities:

· Management & Statutory Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, reconcile balance sheet accounts, complete statutory returns (VAT, Companies House, FCA), and support annual audits.

About the Role

To work as part of a team that delivers an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported or community-based accommodation. Our work is underpinned by the Endeavour model of assets-based, psychologically informed delivery. The aim of this is to ensure that every client leaves the service with the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives.

Working under the direction, guidance and support of a manager/senior worker you will be responsible for managing the building to ensure that the accommodation provided to the clients is safe and secure through the provision of overnight concierge service, security and door control. This includes controlling access to buildings, being the first point of contact for all emergencies and carrying out Health and Safety checks and cleaning.

Key responsibilities include:

• You will always ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in the service possible including using Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable.
• You will provide a basic first contact advice response and security service at night to clients living in the property and/or in dispersed accommodation linked to the service
• You will be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors or services visiting the building at night

• An understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance use or care leavers.

Oasis Community Hub Hadley encompasses a variety of integrated and diverse community projects which together have a common aim to bring transformation to the whole person and the whole community. 

Oasis Community Hub Hadley is looking to recruit a Sessional Youth Worker to join the Oasis Youth & Community Team.

Our team offer a wide variety of Youth Work activities that promote the development of young people, including open access youth club sessions, holiday clubs, mentoring, sports activities as well as targeted support. Training will be given. 

Key responsibilities will include:

- Working as part of a team be responsible for supporting on activities for young people within a number of sites in which we operate, including Oasis Academy Enfield, Oasis Academy Hadley, Ponders End Youth Centre and Bell Lane Youth Centre as arranged. 

- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all young people accessing our projects.

- Leading on activities that support the holistic development of young people.

Job Description

You’ll be part of Marie Curie’s National Information Library Service, within the Talent and Development team. The library supports staff across the UK by providing high-quality health information and evidence, with a special focus on palliative and end-of-life care. You’ll work alongside the National Information Library Services Manager and volunteers, ensuring staff have access to the resources, training, and information they need to deliver excellent care and support. 

As Assistant Librarian, you’ll be the first point of contact for staff seeking information, helping them access reliable evidence and resources that directly improve patient care, education, and research. By managing enquiries, literature searches, and training, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring Marie Curie staff are equipped with the latest knowledge to support people at the end of life and their families.

What you will do: 

• Act as the main contact for enquiries, delivering timely and customer-focused support. 
• Conduct professional health-related literature searches across biomedical databases. 
• Provide current awareness services and deliver information skills training. 
• Manage online journals, books, and subscriptions, ensuring resources are up to date. 
• Catalogue and classify library materials using national standards and the Heritage system. 
• Maintain and update the library’s intranet pages and resources. 
• Support volunteers working within the service. 
• Ensure compliance with copyright and intellectual property legislation. 

Key Criteria: 

• Postgraduate librarianship qualification or equivalent qualification (mandatory). 
• Strong skills in electronic information retrieval and database searching. 
• Knowledge of library management systems and online information resources. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organisational ability. 
• Experience delivering an efficient library or information service. 
• Ability to train, support, and collaborate with staff and volunteers at all levels. 
• Customer-focused, with commitment to ongoing professional development.

In addition to the 50+ young people we see every day out our centre, New Horizon’s Outreach service works with young people on the streets and in the community. The team works pan London to deliver a youth-specific outreach service to young people currently or at risk of rough sleeping. We use our extensive housing expertise to place those young people into accommodation that is appropriate and safe, whilst encouraging them to access the day centre to benefit from the wide range of services we offer. This role will involve regualr outreach shifts (early mornings and late evenings) across London aswell as supporting our clients in the day centre and developing a best practice approach to supporting young rough sleepers and the hidden homeless.

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our small, dedicated IT team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing, installing, and maintaining company-wide systems

• Maintenance of the Library’s internal and cloud based systems

• Network administration: monitoring systems on a day-to-day basis, updating systems when necessary

• Providing 2nd/3rd level technical support to the IT Assistant and responding to security threats and network security

About You

We are seeking a strategic and relationship-driven leader to oversee our operations and donor engagement. Reporting directly to the CEO and as a member of the Senior Management Team, you will help shape organisational strategy, drive compliance, and provide leadership that ensures our teams and systems function effectively.

As Head of Operations and Donor Engagement you will be responsible for leading effective relationship management with our donors, to ensure compliance and that grants operations and systems meet their needs and those of our grantee partners and applicants.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all operational aspects of the organisation are efficient, run smoothly and enable others to perform their roles effectively. This includes oversight of grants operations; grants management system; operational policies and processes; procurement of goods and services; donor and legal compliance; HR; and Risk Management.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Relationships and People management

• Effective donor contract management, through building strong external relationships,  annual workplans, donor compliance, audits and reporting.
• Effective line management of your team to include performance reviews, support and development
• Prepare, chair and follow up on quarterly Donor Fiduciary Risk & Safeguarding meetings.
• Chair regular team and project performance review meetings
• Support the CEO with Board and Members meetings

2. Member of the Senior Management Team

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential: 

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related subject
• Detail conscious and organised, yet ability to be flexible
• Knowledge of donor agency procedures and excellent donor management and communication skills
• Confidence in building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrable knowledge of the commercial and key operational aspects of managing an organisation
• Proven ability to successfully lead a diverse, hybrid-working team
• Proven ability contribute to organisational strategy, leadership, and management

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

This is a UK based, full time (37.5 hours/week) permanent position, reporting to the CEO. AmplifyChange is based in Bath, and we operate on a hybrid working model. Requests for flexible working arrangements will be considered. We encourage applications from candidates who have experience of implementing projects or advocacy initiatives in countries that are eligible for funding from AmplifyChange. However, we can only accept applications from those with proof of the right to work in the UK. There may be opportunity for international travel as part of this role.

SALARY AND PACKAGE

Basic salary range:  £62,000-£66,000 depending on experience 

Holiday:                         25 days per annum on full time basis
