To be successful as Specialist Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and their children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse and housing sectors. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to support Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

CST Client Advisor
Role:
As a CST Client Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients transitioning from military to civilian life by providing tracking, referral, and job matching services. Working closely with the CST team, you will offer advice and guidance to both clients and employers, utilising ADAPT and the CTP jobs board (RightJob). The successful appointee of this role will sit within a small but busy IT team and will be responsible for first class support of Royal Trinity Hospice’s customers and systems.
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the Senior IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support services to the staff, volunteers and service users at the hospice, and will support the IT Operations Manager in their day-to-day activities, ensuring the IT service is delivered to the agreed standards, as well as providing mentorship and team-leadership to the IT Support Technicians within the team.

We are recruiting a Head of Security to ensure effective safety and security arrangements are in place for the UK EMT. Our new Head of Security will lead on strategic and operational management of safety and security for the UK EMT. You will design, draft and disseminate overarching safety and security plans and crisis management plans and attendant structures, and will advise Team Leaders in the field including deploying with large responses as required. It is a standalone role and you will be responsible for all areas of security management.
Our ideal candidate will bring significant security expertise developed through significant experience working in the humanitarian sector (expected to be at least 5 years) including in insecure environments, and who is willing to spend up to 40% of their time on deployment as part of our responses.

This role is part of the Wiltshire Project which provides individual and family support to domestic abuse for victims and their children.
Working within the children and families team, you will focus on delivering timely and high quality, trauma informed support to children.
This exciting new post will predominantly be working with children aged 0 to 5 years and their parents/carers who have experienced or been affected by domestic abuse. Role purpose
This role will be a core member of the Supply Chain Team, within the International Programmes Directorate and will report to the Programme Supply Chain Manager. The SESCS will work closely with the Supply Chain Managers, Emergency Team, Regional Directors and Programme Managers and it is expected that the SESCS will be assigned to work mainly on the Emergency Responses and line manage Emergency / Supply Chain Specialists or Junior Supply Chain Specialists. - Be involved with the management of prepositioned inventory including monitoring appropriate inventory levels, managing tactical and strategic replenishments
- Coordinating the preparation and provision of relevant documentation and tendering freight requests to freight providers to ensure best value, service, and accountability for movement of relief supplies
- Deploy to areas affected by disaster in a supply chain capacity to set up and oversee the timely delivery of aid items and assistance
- On a roster, provide an out-of-hours first point of contact for deployed teams and emergencies
- Establish, develop and lead on good supply chain relationships with freight forwarders, stock suppliers, other humanitarian actors, relevant government departments and logistics coordination mechanisms at both global and field levels
- Plan and deliver procurement and inventory audits as required
- Be involved with programme preparedness in a supply chain capacity
- Work with the International Programmes department to set up partnerships with other organisations
- Support ShelterBox to stay aware of trends, innovations, and best practice in global supply within the disaster relief sector; participate in logistics networks e.g., Global Logistics Cluster
- Contribute to driving forward changes to meet our sustainable supply chain targets e.g., significant reduction in carbon emissions
- Support with supply chain risk management
- Give regular briefings internally, and occasionally externally
- Promote and apply supply chain best practice within International Programmes
- Support with developing and delivering logistics training internally and externally
- Support departmental and organisational working groups and projects when required
- Support the Philippines country office with supply chain planning and implementation
- Maintain excellent information management of logistics systems including updating records to ensure accurate record keeping and accountability of aid assets
- Promote and demonstrate humanitarian principles in all activities
- Ensure adherence to ShelterBox procedures and policies including those relating to safeguarding, safety and security
- Any other duties as required which are deemed appropriate to the level and grade of the post.
