Money Minded is a new service designed to support adults, (18 years and over) in Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow. The service provides support with welfare benefits, accessing debt support, housing and well-being/peer support groups/workshops. 

The role of the Mental Health Information and Advice Officer will be to provide advice, guidance and customer representation to tri-borough Residents living with Mental Health difficulties. Advice issues may include, housing, benefits, council tax, accessing debt support, signposting etc. 

The successful candidate will deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals, as agreed with the Service Manager. In addition to advice casework, the Mental Health Information and Advice Officer will also be expected to assist onboarding referrals to the service, as and when needed. 

The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the Team Leader and volunteers supporting on the project, within the Advice Quality Standard framework (AQS) and adhere to Mind’s policies and procedures. 

Due to the nature of the work, if successful, you will need to have an up-to-date DBS check completed, prior to undertaking unsupervised client work.

About the role:

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, the IT Project Manager will lead the scoping, researching, sourcing, design develop and implementation of several new systems relating to CRM, Case Management, Finance and HR.

The IT project manager will also support the Director of Finance & Operations in managing the relationship with the IT Support contract, providing IT support where necessary and in renewing the IASME (Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises) accreditation.

You will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience and 

A PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or other industry standard Programme or Project Management qualification. A good knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies, 365 admin level experience across Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online etc. is essential for the role. Your experience will include supporting network devices and concepts, printers, softphones and other business hardware and software.

The role is a temporary role (6-12 months) to help direct and support changes of financial systems, data control processes and to help ensure the current team, including our current Finance Manager, are supported with the implementation of a more up to date and effective way of working.

Main Responsibilities :

· Provide full review of current financial controls, identify and implement a new financial I.T./software system suited to service needs.

· Oversee the procurement, implementation and transition to the new financial I.T./software system once it is identified.

· The post holder will assist with the strategic planning and budget preparation for the organisation as well as maintaining the charity's financial accounting systems.

· To provide support to the Finance Manager by overseeing the preparation of the organisation’s accounts for audit in accordance with current accounting good practice and Charity Commission’s Standards of Recommended Practice (SORP)

As an Assistant Community Shop Manager (ACSM) for St Giles Hospice you will support in leading a team of volunteers. IAG Delivery and line management

· To be accountable for achieving agreed outcomes, outputs and personal targets – including recruitment, employability training and learner progression targets

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will provide first and second line technical support to staff, assisting with hardware and software problems via phone, email or onsite. You will support a diverse range of end-users with varying skills and abilities with technical programs. You will utilise skills in a collaborative and innovative environment. Shift Pattern:  37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 - 5. You will be based at central office in Islington.

ABOUT YOU

Ideally, we would like someone with an interest in IT and have undertaken relevant IT qualifications, ideally at NVQ Level 3 or 4 although we will consider applications from those willing to work towards this.

We support vulnerable people within our organisation so you will need to have an understanding to what we do and have shared values of ambition, empowerment, transparency and inclusivity, not just with staff but also with our residents and participants. 
We are looking for a self starter, someone who can use their initiative to resolve challenges as they arise, and able to form effective and purposeful relationships organisation wide. You will be a team player, have a friendly and approachable attitude, and be able to think outside the box to bring new ideas to the team.

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Day to day management of the service desk system.
• Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support requests and take ownership of end-user requests.
• Manage the full process of computer provisioning. 
• Undertake scheduled maintenance to ensure all computers are patched with important software and system updates.
• Administer Microsoft 365 admin centres, software systems, operating systems, applications, directory services, and any other updates and additional tasks related to system administration.
• Support with the onboarding process, ensure new starters have the correct log ins, equipment, and relevant training as necessary.
• Engage with staff to understand their needs and support our employees in the use of computer systems and applications.
• Learn and manage other digital programs within the organisation and support training and development for all staff and smaller teams where required.

Other responsibilities than those described above may be required to be undertaken from time to time and will be expected to be performed to as long as it is within the capability and level of the position. Please further refer to JDPS attached. 

KEY CRITERIA

What we are looking for:

• Appropriate academic/professional qualification: Minimum of GCSE, BTEC, and/or A-Level qualification in IT, English and Mathematics
• Experience of managing Microsoft Windows client operating systems – Windows 10/11
• Experience of administering and managing Microsoft 0365 admin centres
• Excellent problem-solving ability with a methodical and logical approach, able to work proactively to resolve challenges and mitigate further issues
• IT Proficiency at advanced level, ability to learn new software’s with ease and able to deliver training and support to others

What we would like, but not essential:

• Experience of working in first-, and second-line roles within agreed Service Level Agreements
• Experience in a similar support/service delivery environment, supporting with issues and incident management
• Additional professional Microsoft certifications
• Experience within a similar role in a similar sized and type of organisation

The Service:

The service facilitates peer support and delivery of monthly workshops and drop- ins. The service will provide first-class, person-centred information, advice and guidance to people with learning disabilities through both one-to-one and group support.

The Role:

You will provide relevant and accurate information, support, guidance and signposting including both one-to-one and group support for people with complex issues. Support will be flexibly based operating out of a central Bromley office but delivered at various venues across the borough. You will act in a key working capacity where necessary, ensuring services are joined up and holistic, provide advocacy and attend case management meetings as required.

Requirements:

Reporting to the Adult Support Services Manager, here are some of the skills that will make you stand out:

• Able to research and provide information about community services
• Excellent communication skills with all groups, particularly with people with a learning disability
• A good understanding of the social care and health system
• Able to travel around the borough independently, preferably by car
