Purpose of job:
Comic Relief is looking for a Digital Fundraising Lead to assume responsibility as the driving force behind our fundraising and engagement strategies. The Digital Fundraising/Marketing Lead is responsible for overseeing the Fundraising and Engagement strategies, planning and performance of our digital marketing channels, to deliver ambitious organisational objectives and fundraising growth targets. Comic Relief’s fundraising and public engagement is delivered primarily through it’s digital channels, and in this role you will lead the digital fundraising team and cross-organisational project teams in driving high performance across these channels, including web UX journey and optimisation, email communications and paid media campaigns to facilitate the delivery of over £18M income across Fundraising.

Key responsibilities:
· Lead the strategy setting and annual planning and budget setting for Comic Relief’s Digital Marketing & Fundraising, including building financial models, developing business cases, monitoring budgets and updating forecasts
· Manage and coach a team of digital fundraisers to execute fundraising, (acquisition and engagement), activity across our key digital channels to deliver against agreed plans and objectives across the entire Fundraising team, specifically focussed on the UK public audience: individuals and communities of individuals, including schools and workplaces
· Foster a culture of high performance and build organisational expertise through a test, learn and iterate approach where data, learning and insight is used to make informed decisions and actioned swiftly. Ensure knowledge is systematised and shared across the organisation for maximum impact
· Working as a lead within the Public Activation & Individual Giving team, work with the team and wider colleagues to ensure all digital communications our audiences receive and the digital experience they have, is appropriately targeted, designed and delivered in a way to maximise engagement and life time value
· Operate as a champion of digital innovation within the wider Fundraising team and organisation, proactively identifying, sourcing and helping to embed new technologies, ways of working and tools and approaches that drive digital marketing/fundraising performance and income generation. Where necessary, bring x-organisational project teams together to deliver digital marketing / fundraising change projects.
· Lead the management and performance management of our media agency to develop a digital media strategy that delivers against agreed KPI’s, working closely with the Paid Media Manager to continuously optimise and evaluate performance across the full suite of campaigns and always on activity plan
· Oversee the email marketing strategy, including oversight of critical email marketing tools and platforms, ensuring the effective management of audiences and messages, closely with the Senior Digital Fundraiser and Email Marketing Executive to continuously optimise and evaluate performance across the full suite of communications
· Play a lead role in working with stakeholders across the organisation to unify separate digital marketing activity (owned and earned) to ensure all Comic Relief efforts are working together to maximise effectiveness and efficiency
· Play a lead role in working with colleagues managing Comic Relief’s website and associated platforms to ensure they are optimised for User Experience and conversion to action across all agreed initiatives and activities
· Provide specific leadership in bringing the Fundraising, Technology and Data teams together to ensure our Digital Marketing and Fundraising strategies and plans are aligned with data and tech capabilities and priorities and oversee direct interventions to solve problems and mitigate risks to delivery and performance
Operate as primary point of contact with BBC Marketing specifically in relation to digital marketing strategies, including development of Red Nose Day web pages, supplying content and performance tracking
People Management
· Provide balanced, constructive feedback, undertake effective performance management to embed accountability and proactively support the professional development and growth of staff
· Proactively undertake business planning, prioritise activities and set clear and realistic objectives for the team and individuals based on capacity, expertise, and aspirations

Essential criteria
· Extensive experience of creating, implementing and optimising digital strategies and user journeys for the purposes of a sales or fundraising outcome
· Experience of delivering digital marketing activity or projects for a high-profile brand
· Experience of leading and working effectively in cross-functional digital project teams to deliver shared goals and objectives
· Proven experience of digital channel planning and performance tracking
· Experience of leading and working with a matrix of channel experts and multi-disciplined stakeholders

About the role
Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Individual Giving Fundraiser, looking for a role where you can make a significant impact to an Individual Giving program, and join an ambitious Fundraising team?
Due to heavy investment and ambitious growth plans across Individual Giving & Engagement, this newly created role will play a pivotal role in achieving key objectives and income targets across the Individual Giving & Engagement program.
As the Individual Giving & Engagement Manager, reporting to the Head of Individual Giving & Engagement, working closely with the Supporter Engagement Manager and Digital Marketing Officer and wider marketing team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of Individual Giving & Engagement products across single, regular, prize-led, payroll, legacy and in-memory giving.

About the role:
This fundraiser will work closely with the Heads of Departments and academics in the Departments of Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences. The post will focus primarily on funding for research, academic posts, scholarships and infrastructure related to Neuroscience which includes Mental Health and neurological disease (e.g. Motor Neurone Disease, Dementia, Parkinson’s, Stroke and Epilepsy). As a key member of our Services and Support team, you’ll be working with MS Society volunteer groups that provide transport services to their members and/or own property. Our award winning fundraising division is currently looking for an Engagement and Stewardship Executive to join our Partnership and Philanthropy team in this newly created role for the charity.
With ambitious plans to grow our fundraising income above £60m in the next 5 years we are expanding our fundraising team. The role sits within the newly created Operations Team ensuring Age UK's donor facing Partnerships and Philanthropy Team are provided with the highest quality donor research, engagement and stewardship materials required to create transformative partnerships with businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and foundations.
In this newly created position we require a collaborative individual who can support our Senior Operations Manager deliver our stewardship strategy focused on inspiring, thanking and retaining our major donors, corporate partners and grant funders by creating engaging communications and activities.
This role offers hybrid working between home and London (EC3N 2LB). Our fundraising division attend the London office once a week on Thursday's.

Must haves:

Additional Information
* This role is not a donor-facing role but sits within the newly created Partnerships and Philanthropy Operations team that provides the back-of-house systems, processes, content and support to enable donor-facing colleagues to operate efficiently and effectively.
* We ask all members of Age UK's Partnerships and Philanthropy department to work from our London hub near Tower Hill at least once a week to enable collaboration, skills development and team dynamics (currently Thursdays). From time to time, we may also require the successful candidate to come into our London hub for face-to-face meetings at other times in the week: as per the terms of our hybrid contracts we aim to give seven days' notice when this happens.
* This role may on occasions require travel outside of London and working outside of normal office hours e.g. for funder events and cultivation activities.

Job Purpose:
The Fundraising and Administration Officer role primarily focuses on providing excellent supporter care and administrative support within the fundraising department. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining supporter relations, optimising fundraising efforts, and ensuring efficient administrative processes are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporter Care:
- To be a first point of contact for the Fundraising Department, answering the phone and meeting and greeting people who arrive to the office.
- Respond to enquiries from supporters, prospective supporters and volunteers via telephone, e-mail, and post, maintaining excellent supporter relations.
- Ensure timely and appropriate acknowledgments, using both standard and bespoke correspondence.
- To adhere to administrative procedures to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service which is compliant with all relevant legislation, policies, regulations, and guidelines.
- Provide admin support for Direct Mail letters and appeals, including the use of mail merge, when required.
- Assist with the ongoing stewardship of Regular Givers.
Community Fundraising:
- Co-ordinate the recruitment and appropriate use of volunteers to support fundraising.
- Develop relationships with volunteer fundraisers, with the aim of maximising the funds they raise through challenges, events and talks.
- Support the formation of volunteer fundraising groups.
- Support ongoing and new events within the UK, which may include occasional weekend and evening work.
- Take the lead with the co-ordination and administration of public collections in the UK.
- Take the lead in monitoring fundraising merchandise, and liaise with suppliers, for fundraising materials, including Christmas Cards.
Digital Marketing:
- Support in developing UK digital fundraising opportunities.
- Administer digital acquisition campaigns in the UK e.g. through digital advertising, to generate new donors.
Database Management (Training will be provided):
- Create and maintain contact records on Salesforce, ensuring supporter information is kept up to date by recording changes to mailing preferences, gift aid eligibility and contact details etc.
- Database maintenance and housekeeping e.g. identifying and merging duplicate records, removing, or archiving redundant data, adhering to GDPR protocols.
Finance Administration (Training will be provided):
- Efficiently process and reconcile incoming donations, received daily by post, online and phone. Bank cheques and cash on a weekly basis, and process credit card and CAF donations.
- Record all donations to Salesforce, ensuring the accurate coding of income to the correct source and supporter.
- Administer new Direct Debit instructions.
- Support monthly and quarterly reports demonstrating fundraising income received against budget, to inform the management team and provide accurate forecasting.
- Scan and upload credit card statements and invoices for payment by the Finance team.
- Record and reconcile petty cash expenditure.
- Assist the Finance team in the reconciliation of all income received, responding to any queries.
General Office Administration:
- Order office stationery and fundraising supplies, as required.
- Co-ordinate general office maintenance, as required.
- Arrange accommodation for staff travel to Shrewsbury.
