Giving them the information they need to make better choices about their treatment, while working to identify and target specific unmet needs in the prostate cancer ecosystem, such as racial inequality and bone metastasis.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Digital Acquisition Executive to join our growing Individual Giving Team within Public Fundraising at Prostate Cancer Research. This is a pivotal new role, offering huge potential to shape the future of IG at PCR and capitalise fully on our exciting growth trajectory.
The last 12 months have seen significant transformation within our IG fundraising, with our regular giving base more than trebling. Building on this momentum, and campaigns such as last year's successful prostate cancer screening petition and our increased campaigning and public relations footprint. We are committed to strong investment in supporter experience and a genuine relationship-based approach to fundraising, ensuring all our supporters feel valued and exceptionally well-cared for. Recent positive media opportunities have further underscored our potential for growth.
This role will be instrumental in driving continued expansion through digital channels, including paid social and email, with significant scope to identify and implement new, innovative, or novel acquisition strategies. You will be key to growing our supporter base and maximising their lifetime value through engaging digital stewardship and carefully crafted supporter journeys. Lead generation and conversion, cross-selling, and the development and management of these journeys will all be significant aspects of this role. We foster a culture of continuous testing and analysis to drive results, with a commitment to further investment in successful initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Acquisition and Fundraising

Develop and implement acquisition campaigns and activity to attract new supporters through social platforms, both paid and unpaid, search engine advertising, and email marketing. As well as novel and innovative platforms and opportunities as identified.

Analyse metrics and data, reporting on KPI’s, budget and spend, and work to constantly test and optimise campaigns to exceed targets and improve return on advertisement spend / return on investment.

Ensure regular monitoring of performance across all activities and make necessary adjustments to maximise net income opportunities.

Analyse and share the results of campaign activity.

Support forecasting and budget planning on Digital marketing activities within the IG budget.

Develop and execute digital campaigns, including where the ultimate conversion is via traditional channels such as telephone or mail, taking an integrated approach, to acquire and convert new supporters.

Create and optimise content and digital journeys to maximise conversions and build loyalty. This will include elements of creative fundraising writing, concepting and messaging development, and some visual design development.

Generate and utilise insight within digital campaigns to improve results.

Support the organisation in developing the website to be optimised for fundraising, make recommendations to improve performance, optimise content and landing pages, recommend and make the most of on-site technologies and plugins that can help drive our performance.

Stay abreast of emerging digital trends and technologies, ensuring our online fundraising efforts remain innovative and effective.
Stewardship and Supporter Experience

Maintain a good level of understanding of our supporters' behaviours and motivations to create and implement stewardship content and journeys, feedback and respond to queries and enquiries relevant to IG activity.

Work with the team to ensure all supporters are thanked and updated in an appropriate and timely manner and all interactions and activities are in line with our supporter promise.

Ensure supporter journeys are segmented and personalised wherever possible.

Cultivate deeper engagement with supporters beyond transactional interactions, exploring opportunities for meaningful dialogue, feedback mechanisms, and a sense of community.

Develop and deliver personalised relationship-building communications and initiatives that recognise supporter loyalty and deepen their connection to the impact of their support.

Work with the wider PCR team to maximise opportunities for fundraising and patient impact including via cross selling with different audiences.

Develop engaging supporter communications and assets for all channels, for example email headers, landing pages, social ads – which drive action and deepen engagement with the cause.
Collaboration and Development

Work with Agile principles in mind, together with the IG Team and collaborating colleagues across the organisation, to plan and deliver high quality work.

Build key relationships across teams within and outside Public Fundraising to achieve successful fundraising outcomes, improving both supporter & patient perceptions of PCR.

As required, represent PCR externally, promoting our work and building long-term relationships with stakeholders and supporters.

Build strong relationships with partners, freelancers and consultants, agencies, and suppliers as needed to support the delivery of individual giving activity.

Maintain curiosity and a desire for learning and professional development, be responsible for developing your skillset and knowledge to improve in the role and further PCR’s mission.
Database and Compliance

Hold a good working knowledge of key aspects of data protection law including GDPR and PECR, and the Fundraising Code of Practice.

Work with our tools and seek to improve knowledge and use of these, including but not limited to Access CRM, Fundraise Up, Google Analytics 4 (G4A) and MailChimp.

Adhere to all PCR policies and abide by the code of conduct and other related guidance in the PCR Staff Handbook.
Skills and Competencies
Our ideal candidate would have the following:

Proven experience in digital acquisition for charity or social cause, or in paid digital marketing or advertising in commercial roles. With demonstrable campaign management experience and expertise setting up and managing campaigns in Meta business suite, Google paid advertising and email marketing.

Evidence of leading successful digital / integrated digital campaigns leading to significant sales/income/lead generation.

The ability to monitor and manage income and expenditure against targets as well as forecast and report on digital campaigns across all channels.

Knowledge and experience of trends and dynamics in digital fundraising (ideally), including audience identification and optimisation strategies including with new technologies like AI tools.

Experience and a track record of working on landing page optimisation and on-site conversion funnel improvements.

Our client is committed to transforming lives of children and young people by creating opportunities to learn, grow, and develop through Education. The organisation is an independent funder and our income is generated from our endowment which consists of both significant property holdings and financial investments, therefore we do not fund raise, the organisation has distributed over £298 million in grants to a range of organisations that seek to promote the life chances of children and young people through Education, with around £15 million in grants distributed each year. The charity gives grants to benefit children and young up to the age of 25 (or up to 30 for younger people with special educational needs and/or disabilities) who live within nine Boroughs in West, Central and North London.
We are delighted to be working with the charity to recruit a permanent Financial Controller to join its established team based in conveniently located offices in Central London.
The role:
Reporting directly to the COO, the Financial Controller will ensure the provision of consistent, robust financial advice to the charity as a whole. This person will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance and financial operations, ensuring these are compliant with statutory requirements and appropriate and effective financial controls are in place. They will also maintain a financial planning framework that will facilitate the delivery of the charity's financial strategy. This will involve managing one direct report, overseeing all financial reporting and tax compliance, preparing the charity’s management accounts and the end of year accounts for approval and sign off by the Trustees. In addition, the role will be responsible for managing an annual financial audit process preparing the annual budgets in advance for SLT sign off and providing sound financial advice across all of these areas.
This person will also manage all external relationships with banks, financial institutions, property Investors and auditors wherever Finance is the main issue being dealt with. This person will also oversee all Grants related financial transactions in close collaboration with the Grants department.
The person:
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant and will be able to provide excellent financial management and reporting for the Charity. They will be confident working with different internal stakeholders and external professional advisors and will be capable of considering their different requirements and priorities in a knowledgeable way. This person will have excellent attention to detail and will be highly organised and a strong communicator across a wide range of audiences. Educated to Degree level or the equivalent (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CIPFA), this person will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication and will be up to date on all MS Office packages and financial software including SAGE being essential.
Candidates with prior experience of working with endowed Trusts, Foundations or Charities or who have worked in Charities that have income derived from a permanent endowment (either partially or totally), will be of particular interest, so please draw attention to this when applying.
This person will have demonstrated substantial financial management experience at a senior level in the Charity or Not-for-Profit sectors, with extensive knowledge of UK Charity Accounting Standards (SORP, Charity Commission compliance and VAT). Also experienced in strategic financial planning, preparing complex financial statements, budgeting and cashflow forecasting, and have good knowledge of financial planning in a Funder or Grant-Maker setting. THE ROLE

This is an opportunity to take on a new leadership position in a unique educational charity. As part of our succession planning, Number Champions is recruiting a CEO to take on all management of the charity and to help the board define and deliver its strategy. This will be our most senior staff position.
Background - Number Champions
We train volunteers to use games and other creative activities in primary schools in one-to-one sessions with children to help them gain confidence and skills in maths. This support helps put children on track to achieve their full potential in a world where numeracy is a vital building block. Over half the children we support are from disadvantaged backgrounds, which is where the need is greatest.
Founded in 2018, we have already helped over 1,500 children. We now have 115 volunteers running weekly sessions. This year they are helping 334 children in 38 partner schools across London, and we plan to continue to grow organically every year to support more children.
Our vision is not just that we grow in scale, but that through our example other organisations copy our model, and that eventually all primary school children will have access to volunteer support in maths.
CEO role
The CEO will be a new permanent role, reporting to our founder Chair and to the board of trustees. You will take on all aspects of managing our award-winning charity and drive the board process of setting and delivering strategy. This will include financial management of the charity and involvement in fundraising. This is in the context of our succession plan, whereby our Chair will hand over the executive responsibilities which he currently exercises on a pro bono basis. This is to allow us to recruit a new Chair within two years.
You will line manage the Head of Operations - our current senior employee, who manages our other two staff. The role will be part time for the equivalent of 3 days a week.
Location
You will work mainly remotely, although you will be expected to attend periodic meetings in London. We therefore require candidates to live within commuting distance of Central London, giving maximum flexibility for both the employee and the charity.
Person specification
Candidates must be able to show previous success as a member of the Senior Leadership Team of a charity. You should be a collaborative worker able to build productive working relationships with people throughout the charity and beyond. As continuing our growth is a strategic goal, we need you to have experience in marketing.
We have a high-performing staff team, and a key requirement is that you are able to continue to develop the team. You therefore need the interpersonal skills to keep the existing staff motivated, productive, and appreciated. You will also require the confidence to implement changes you identify as important. As you will take over all the executive responsibilities of the charity’s founder Chair, you will also need the sensitivity to navigate any resultant issues.

THE ROLE

Deputy CEO Leadership

The online world was not created with children in mind and can be unsafe for children and young people to explore. Overall purpose of role
As the WeProtect Global Alliance Head of Strategy, you will lead a small team to build a global network, evidence base and policy portfolio to guide and drive the implementation of our Strategy and mission targets. Your team will provide high level analysis and ask critical questions, supporting the Alliance to identify immediate and emerging issues which may require investigation or exploration, support the Policy Board, Executive Team, Head of Members and Head of Development to navigate key strategic decisions.
You will also work closely with the Head of Members and Head of Development to support the development of new ways of working to harness Alliance members and broader community of practice to understand our collective impact and ensure our secretariat, members and broader organization actively remain relevant and focused on delivering our mission and strategic objectives.
You will lead the WeProtect Global Alliance Research and Policy work, with key accountability for the following outcomes:
· Work with the Executive Team and Policy Board to implement the existing WeProtect Global Alliance strategy and ensure the forthcoming strategy remains targeted and focused on achieving the Alliance’s global ambition.
· Work with the Executive Team and Policy Board to develop and implement the WeProtect Global Alliance approach, strategy and operational targets on participation and engagement.
· Collaborate with the Head of Members, the Head of Development and MEL lead to collectively build, maintain and oversee our theory of change and operational model to ensure our Strategy remains impactful and has real world impact on the lives of children and young people.
· Provide inspirational leadership and empower our Policy Manager and Research Manager to pro-actively deliver a portfolio of work that will raise the profile of our mission and shift the needle on governmental, public and private sector agencies approaches to child protection and safety in the digital world. This includes overseeing the production of the WeProtect Global Alliance biennial Global Threat Assessment, Model National Response and Global Strategic Response.
· Build and maintain meaningful engagement with a broad range of external stakeholders across the public, private and third sector (including government agencies, advocacy communities, specialist tech and civil society organisations) across the globe to deliver the WeProtect Global Alliance strategic mission.
· Play an active role in building the operational resilience, financial sustainability and compliance capability and capacity of the Secretariat to provide a world class service to our members and Board to ensure WeProtect Global Alliance remains focused on creating a world where children and young people can access and participate in the digital world free from harm, sexual abuse and sexual exploitation.

You will curate a new vision for philanthropy bringing in new donors, funding vehicles and new five and six figure gifts. Develop and deliver an ambitious philanthropy strategy, driving sustainable income growth.
You will cultivate relationships with a range of donors creating high quality donor experiences, from exclusive events to visits that showcase our work. A credible ambassador, you will invest time in listening to supporters and partners to build networks and enhance trust and confidence in donation.
We are seeking a proactive, results-driven leader with strong financial acumen. You will have a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, with experience exploring innovative fundraising models and a proven track record in securing six figure gifts from individuals, trusts and foundations. You will bring relevant experience in Philanthropy from the third/ charitable sector.

Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC The Hospice helps 2,000 local people and their families in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, to live their lives well. Care is tailored to individual’s needs, supporting people managing or recovering from, serious illness. The Hospice works to deliver care at the Hospice, at Home, or in their Health and Wellbeing Centre. The work of the Hospice is vital – to the people they support, their families and to the community.
The Hospice works in collaboration with the NHS, other hospices and local councils to generate funding and to ensure it is easier for people to get the palliative and end of life care they need. Fundraising is crucial to the continuation of the services provided with c81% of monies coming in via gifts from the community.
