The new role of Philanthropy Manager is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, fundraising-savvy candidate to help Fauna & Flora achieve its ambitious fundraising goals. The role will focus on deepening relationships with our mid-level donors, those typically giving between £1,000 and £9,999 per annum. Our key audiences are currently in the UK and USA – where we are developing an in-country fundraising team that this role will work closely with.
This successful candidate will bring a passion for finding solutions for nature, people and climate, and be able to inspire and convey that passion convincingly to donors through personal outreach and engaging written communications. We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative fundraiser with relevant experience within the charity sector, and particularly with securing donations from mid-level donors and for developing relationships with supporters. About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Events and Stewardship Manager, to manage the planning, delivery and evaluation of high impact events and stewardship initiatives that engage and inspire prospects, donors and our partners:

Events: Taking a proactive approach to project management, this role will have responsibility for delivering a range of events across our global event portfolio. These events underpin Mission 44’s fundraising goals, especially for HNWI and corporate audiences.

Stewardship: As part of the fundraising team, the post-holder will deliver exceptional support and experiences for our current donors including production of impact-focused reports, personalised communications and moments that build community for Mission 44’s growing donor base.
It is expected the role will have a 60:40 split between events management and stewardship activities. This role is ideal for a skilled planner, exceptional collaborator, and a strong writer, capable of supporting the delivery of exceptional donor experiences, stewardship communications, progress reports and materials that showcase Mission 44’s impact. It is worth noting whilst Mission 44’s events portfolio is global, this role will have minimal international travel.
Key Responsibilities
Special Events Management

Manage the end-to-end delivery of global events within Mission 44’s portfolio, including donor and prospect dinners, trackside activations and flagship fundraising galas.

Lead on core event logistics plans, including venue searches, supplier contracting, building of accurate run of shows and production schedules for multi-day events.

Produce quality briefing materials for event participants, staff, trustees, donors and impact partners.

Support the wider Fundraising team with securing sponsorship, ticket sales, and securing auction items. This includes production of targeted collateral for outreach.

Produce quality and timely evaluation for events activities that capture key learnings, recommendations and event ROI.

Work closely with the Fundraising Data and Operations Manager to ensure that events and stewardship data is updated in a accurately and timely manner to our CRM system (Virtuous).

Work closely with the Communications Team to ensure events materials are aligned with brand and messaging.
Stewardship: Donor Communications and Reporting

Deliver exceptional donor experiences, including impact-focused reports, personalised communications, and bespoke touch-points with impact partners and the Mission 44 team.

Oversee the preparation and submission of specific donor reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with donor guidelines and grant agreements.

Manage select bespoke stewardship projects which strengthen relationships with donors especially our corporate partners

Work closely with our Impact and Finance teams to gather data, track progress, and strengthen internal reporting processes.

Work closely with the Communications Team to ensure that donor communications are consistent with our brand and messaging.

Maintain accurate records of donor and partner interactions using our CRM system (Virtuous).

The Marketing and Communications Officer is an important role at the College as you will proactively support the creation and execution of targeted marketing campaigns and activities, helping to ensure that the RCPCH continues to lead the way in children’s health.
As Marketing and Communications Officer, you will create high-quality and compelling content in multiple formats, ensuring it is on-brand, whilst also taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of paid marketing campaigns across social media and other channels.
A key member of the marketing team and reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will proactively work with stakeholders to gather required content and assets to ensure College marketing priorities are carefully planned and scheduled. You will analyse reporting data to improve marketing performance, whilst frequently liaising with stakeholders to suggest enhancements and improvements and advising on how to optimise.
With a good standard of education, you should have demonstrable experience of Google Analytics and email marketing, whilst having a background in Multi-Media Content production with experience of editing.

We’re redeveloping one of the most respected radiology e-learning programmes in the world — R-ITI — and we need a driven, strategic and organised Project Manager to bring it to life.
In this 18-month fixed-term role, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of over 300 digital learning modules. You’ll collaborate with the Learning Development Manager, the Learning Technologist and the e-learning faculty comprising Subject Matter Experts (SMEs – who are doctors) while undertaking the project to relaunch these essential resources on our new Learning Management System (LMS).
You’ll not only be supporting radiologists in their professional development but you’ll also play a key role is helping ensure the offering is financially sustainable, enabling us to reinvest in growing our influence and impact globally.
What you’ll do
- Oversee the entire life cycle of selected R-ITI modules marked for redevelopment, from establishing SME groups to review and update content, to working with learning technology colleagues to produce and publish them on time and within budget on RCR’s LMS.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and objectives and provide support to the working groups whilst they redevelop the modules.
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Be responsible for overall quality control of newly developed content by working collaboratively with SMEs and learning technology colleagues to create accurate, engaging and effective e-learning content for our members.
- Lead cross-functional teams consisting of SMEs, internal or externally sourced e-learning developers, designers, and quality assurance testers.
- Be the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing necessary support, troubleshooting queries and ensuring strategically sound decisions are made.
- Manage project budgets and promptly report any potential spending variances to the Learning Development Manager.
