Responsibilities of our Senior Individual Giving Officer:

• This role is crucial in delivering the charity’s Individual Giving programme, working across multiple communication channels to grow sustainable income for Cats Protection by recruiting and stewarding supporters across a range of products.
• This includes everything from making TV ads, working with Face-to-Face fundraisers, running our digital campaigns, mailings, telemarketing campaigns, and much more– all of which feature cats at the heart, of course. You will need to work with both internal departments and external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

About the Individual Giving Team:

• We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
• Our team is responsible for the recruitment and retention of individual supporters to generate over £22 million each year and provide leads for the other teams in the directorate
• We currently have a team of 13 working across Acquisition and Retention on our Appeals and Raffles, Membership, Sponsorship, Lottery and regular giving programs using Mail, Face to Face, DRTV, email, Digital, Social and other paid media

What we’re looking for in our Senior Individual Giving Officer:

• Extensive experience in an Individual Giving or similar role, ideally working with agencies in the third sector
• Experience in leading the organisation of projects/activities or schedules
• Experience in budget management, ideally with multiple income and expenditure items
• Proven track record of achieving income against agreed financial targets, and measuring against KPIs
• Experience of at least some broad-based fundraising, such as Direct Mail, DRTV, telephone, digital or face-to-face fundraising

About The Role

The London Wetland Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Officer to join to the team.  This role will help drive visitation to London Wetland Centre, raise brand awareness and increase engagement across social media platforms.

The role will focus on creating engaging content, delivering PR, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver agreed marketing and communications activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working closely with the Senior Visitor Marketing Manager to create multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive visitation to London Wetland Centre and enhance WWT brand awareness.

Introduction to the Role

We are looking for a Research and Policy Officer (Maternity Cover) to join our expanding Policy and Research department, which also oversees the TDS Charitable Foundation. This is a pivotal role supporting our mission to improve standards in the private rented sector through impactful research, thought leadership, and policy engagement.
The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering our research programme, including overseeing flagship projects like the Voice of the Tenant and Voice of the Landlord surveys, and producing high-quality qualitative and quantitative research.

You will also support the smooth running of the Charitable Foundation’s grant-making and governance activities and contribute to our work influencing policy and practice across the UK’s private rented sector.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Research
1. Collaborate with external research contractors to deliver the regular ‘Voice of the Tenant’ and ‘Voice of the Landlord’ Survey.
2. Ensure the research findings are widely disseminated through different channels, including events, publications, briefings and digital content.
3. Help identify research gaps and contribute to the development execution of new research projects or commissioning of external research.
4. Conduct proactive desk-based research to identify emerging trends, new policy developments, and partnership opportunities relevant to the Foundation and the sector.
5. Undertake in-house research activities, such as literature reviews, focus groups, stakeholder interviews, where required.
6. Contribute to the drafting and production of high-quality research reports and briefings, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and relevance for policy and practice audiences.

Policy
7. Monitor and analyse relevant legislative and regulatory developments, consultations, and debates, identifying implications for the sector and TDS’s work.
8. Support the development of TDS’s policy positions by preparing briefings, drafting responses to consultations, and summarising evidence from research.
9. Help communicate TDS’s policy insights and positions clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders, partners, and decision-makers.

Charity co-ordination
10. Act as a key point of contact for grant-funded projects, supporting projects to share progress and impact, and identify any support needs.

The Scientific Writing and Publishing Lead will play a key role in supporting researchers in the Global South to communicate their findings effectively and contribute to the global SRM conversation. Working within the Programmes team, reporting to the Programmes Director, and in cooperation with the Communications team, the Scientific Writer will collaborate closely with research teams and external partners. Responsibilities will include: 

1. Support researchers with scientific writing and publishing

• Develop guidance materials on topics such as structuring research papers, writing abstracts, and best practices for peer-reviewed publication. 

• Train and support researchers to develop, refine, and publish scientific manuscripts through one-on-one and group training sessions and technical editing and feedback. 

• In collaboration with the Staff Scientist, help build climate researchers’ capacity to prepare and communicate their findings to different audiences. 

• Advise research teams on scientific publishing norms, including peer review, and open-access publishing.

• Support researchers in choosing appropriate journals and navigating the submission and review process.

2. Lead and coordinate reports and publications

• Serve as the lead coordinator for a recurring international scientific report, overseeing contributions from multiple researchers and ensuring deadlines are met. 

• Act as a writer for key sections of the report, synthesising insights from researchers into a compelling and scientifically rigorous narrative. 
• Work closely with stakeholders and coordinate peer review and fact-checking to ensure the report’s accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.

3. Support Degrees’ scientific communication and outreach

• Collaborate with the communications team to ensure that external materials such as blog posts, website content, policy briefs and media articles are scientifically accurate and up to date.

A major change project has taken place over the last few years to transform our IT systems and support. We have moved to a cloud solution based on Microsoft 365. To support our internal IT roles, we are supported by a managed service provider who are providing ongoing day-to-day support for all our IT users.

This is an exciting role that will play a key part in the delivery of Cranstoun’s IT and digital strategy. You will support the delivery of major business systems projects and support the day-to-day work of the IT team.

Job Profile

CAFOD’s mission in the Catholic community of England and Wales is to inspire and equip Catholics to actively engage in the Church’s efforts to overcome poverty and injustice. Our regional teams focus on recruiting and supporting a dedicated group of volunteers within parish and school communities, empowering them to educate, engage, and inspire others to act in solidarity for the common good. The children and young people’s bereavement programme in Wales is looking to increase and improve its current services. We are looking for people to take this team forward over the next few years. About the role

The Governance Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring that Shelter's governance framework operates effectively and in line with legal requirements, and best practice.

The postholder will act as the administrative liaison between the Board, Committees, and Executive Leadership Team (ELT), ensuring that Board meetings remain strategically focused while operational matters are effectively delegated.

Role specifics

We are seeking a proactive individual to manage Board and Committee activities, acting as the primary point of contact for all Board-related matters. You will coordinate Board meetings, develop and track governance calendars, and ensure that agendas, minutes, and key decisions are communicated effectively to the Board, ELT, and the wider organisation. Additionally, you will work closely with Directors and Executive Assistants (EAs) to support the management of committee agendas and papers, ensuring a focus on strategic issues.

The role also involves overseeing the preparation, review, and quality control of Board papers, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness. You will streamline governance processes, provide logistical support for meetings, maintain records, and track actions to ensure compliance with governance standards. Moreover, you will facilitate Board engagement by developing feedback mechanisms and supporting Trustee development, ensuring alignment with Shelter's strategic goals.

Metabolic Support UK (MSUK) are the leading organisation for Inherited Metabolic Disorders (IMDs), supporting thousands of people worldwide through providing individual support, building communities, and continually advocating for and empowering those living with IMDs. 

We are a small but mighty team providing individual support, advice and connection to the over 40,000 living with an IMD in the UK and more across the world. We have a strong interest in rare disease policy and campaign for the rights of our rare disease community for better healthcare services, access to treatment and to be able to live well everyday.  

Role Overview 

MSUK are seeking a passionate and proactive Community Engagement Officer to strengthen and grow our patient and family community. There are over 1500 IMDs and many of our community use social media, other patient groups and in-person events to connect and learn. This role is central to how we engage with the people we support — through social media, community groups, events, and collaborative partnerships. You’ll be the bridge between our charity and the people we serve, helping to build a supportive, inclusive, and informed community.  

Key Responsibilities 

Engagement & Social Media 

• Manage and monitor all online patient communities responding to community messages and comments with empathy and timeliness 

• Moderate relevant support online community groups, ensuring they are safe, active, and welcoming spaces 

• Identify themes and areas of interest to advocate internally for MSUK response to meeting community need 

• Signpost our Individual Support service, identify and flag individual enquiries to the Individual Support Lead 

• Working with our Campaign & Comms Lead, grow the charity’s presence across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok) 

• Develop content that resonates with patients, families, and supporters, amplifying community stories and voices 

• Build and manage our lived experience co-production group ‘Metabolic Advisory Council’ 

Community Insight & Advocacy 

• Functioning as the ‘internal expert’ on IMD communities for all MSUK team members 

• Using our Contact Record Management system to log and manage community database to provide timely, relevant insight to team members when required

Events & Campaigns

RISE is a collaborative effort with the goal of delivering a unified approach to women’s empowerment in global supply chains. Bringing together the world’s four largest women’s empowerment programs in the global supply chains - BSR’s HERproject, CARE International, Gap Inc.’s P.A.C.E. Program and ILO-IFC Better Work, RISE will leverage the combined experience in over 21 countries to achieve transformative change for the millions of women who work within supply chains globally. 

RISE will focus on three interrelated pillars of action to tackle both immediate barriers and medium/long term structural improvements for women workers. These include increased agency, confidence, and communication, increased access to and control over financial products, services and resources, enhancement of the capabilities of unions and industry organizations, and implementation of policies at the workplace level, but also regional and national levels that promote gender equality.

Pillar 1: Capacity Strengthening: Working in factories in key countries, RISE will achieve impact with a network of local civil society partners and organizations working on gender equality to deliver worker capacity building programs.  There are four options available (i) Foundation – a 13 month needs based worker training program (ii) Digital – an 8-month tablet-based learning on health, financial literacy and stress management, (iii) Respect - one year program on gender-based Violence prevention and remediation and (iv) Financial Health – a one-year program on financial capability, resilience and inclusion​.

Pillar 2: Market Transformation: RISE will work with and encourage leadership from industry actors (brands, buyers, suppliers, and worker representatives) to improve operating practices at all levels in global value chains to support greater gender equality outcomes. 

Pillar 3: Influencing: RISE will leverage the founding partners’ existing relationships and identify opportunities to work in partnership to influence employer/company/factory policies, programs, and budgets, as well as government policies that impact workers, in particular women workers.

PURPOSE OF THE CONTRACT

The consultant will lead the implementation of RISE’s MEL framework to ensure that data and insights inform the organization’s work and effectively demonstrate our impact.

The consultant will embed MEL systems across the organization, provide technical support and guide the teams. In addition, the consultant will lead on evaluation, develop data collection tools, analyze data and share reports and learning to improve program effectiveness.

The consultant will also demonstrate RISE’s impact to internal and external stakeholders.

Scope of Work

MEL Management and Implementation

• Implement MEL frameworks, including Theories of Change, Logical Frameworks, KPIs, and outcome indicators, ensuring they remain up-to-date and aligned with RISE values.
• Systematically integrate MEL across all programs and organizational processes to drive continuous improvement.
• Build teams’ MEL capacities and capabilities through direct technical support and guidance on MEL systems, data use, and strategic alignment.
• Foster a culture of learning through strategic reviews with the teams, gathering evidence and learning: key insights, impact narratives and lessons learnt.
• Lead quality assurance of MEL processes to improve rigor and integrity. Assess their strengths and weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Provide strategic MEL input to support organizational planning, grant reporting, and decision-making, providing insights that support RISE’s aim of multistakeholder action.

Program Evaluation

• Design and implement robust evaluation methodologies. Refine measurement indicators and develop tools for data collection (quantitative and qualitative).

• Develop and oversee data collection tools such as surveys, focus group protocols, and interview guides.
• Lead baseline, midline, and endline evaluations, including analysis and reporting.
• Lead on impact assessments for RISE’s program areas

Data Management, Analysis & Reporting

• Manage data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization using appropriate software tools.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency and compliance with ethical standards and GDPR.
• Produce high-quality, accessible impact reports for internal and external audiences.
• Develop key learning products to improve internal and external communications.
• Proactively explore innovative ways to analyze data, including the use of A.I., to support more efficient analysis.

Communications

· Demonstrate RISE’s impact through a variety of channels like external publications, reports and insights, communicating value to stakeholders.

• Engage internal and external stakeholders by showcasing social impact stories and deliverables.

Person specification

Essential criteria:

• Minimum8+ years of experience in MEL roles within sustainability, development, or impact-focused organizations.
• Proven experience designing and leading MEL strategies and frameworks, preferably across multi-country or cross-sectoral programs.
• Strong background in both qualitative and quantitative methods and tools.
• Knowledge of leading global best practice and emerging trends in the collection, measurement, management and reporting of social impact data.
• Excellent analytical and research skills, including the ability to process large amounts of information, distribute it appropriately and extract critical analysis from it.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and visualization platforms.

The consultant will report to the RISE Program Director.  This is a remote part-time (2-3 days) role, with preference for UK-based consultants. The initial contract will be for a period of six months, at which point it will be reviewed for extension.

The Role 

We are looking for a curious and committed Research & Policy Officer to help us build the evidence base to improve the lives of people affected by IMDs. Reporting to the Head of Insight & Advocacy, you will play a key role in delivering our research projects, keeping tabs on relevant policy developments, and helping shape our responses to consultations. 

Key Responsibilities 

Research (under supervision of the Head of Insight & Advocacy): 

• Support the design, planning, and delivery of qualitative and quantitative research projects 

• Conduct literature reviews, stakeholder mapping, and data analysis 

• Contribute to survey development, focus groups, and interviews with people living with IMDs, families, clinicians and other stakeholders 

• Assist with analyses and write up findings in accessible and engaging ways for different audiences 

• Ensure all research is ethical, inclusive, and relevant to the needs of the IMD community 

Policy Monitoring and Response: 

• Track developments in policy relevant to rare diseases and inherited metabolic conditions 

• Summarise key policy updates for internal and external audiences 

• Support the drafting of consultation responses, position statements, and policy briefings 

• Contribute to campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and policy influencing activities 

• Help ensure the voice of the IMD community is reflected in national and local policy discussions

The Head of Operations will be part of the senior leadership team and support the CEO in the leadership, management and day-to-day operations of Sound Minds. Are you an experienced Chartered Financial Accountant, with extensive experience working in Financial Operations (FinOps) within international charities?
