The Operations Team comprises a number of functions within our organisation, including finance, people, compliance, governance, facilities and IT, and works cross-functionally to provide critical resource and a centre of expertise.
We are now seeking an IT Manager to join our Operations Team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As an IT Manager, you will ensure our information technology infrastructure, systems, policies and applications are secure and reliable.
You will provide thought leadership regarding our IT systems, policies, and applications, alongside having oversight of IT risk management and the implementation of our IT strategy.
Spending the majority of your time managing our IT estate, you will also be involved in IT strategy and associated policies and risk management and business continuity activities. You will take the lead on IT training and awareness and undertake some system administration for our MS Dynamics system.
Additionally, you will:
- Manage our IT budget and equipment
- Review existing IT contracts for outsourced services
- Lead in the development, review and execution of our IT strategy
- Develop an annual work plan for implementation
- Identify, evaluate and mitigate IT risks
- Develop and implement existing IT risk management policies and procedures
- Devise and deliver comprehensive cyber security awareness training to staff
About You
To be considered as an IT Manager, you will need:
- Experience with business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies
- Experience leading IT training programmes
- Experience presenting to colleagues and running training sessions
- Strong knowledge of cyber security practices and risk management frameworks
- Knowledge of data privacy laws
- Relevant qualifications and experience in information technology, computer science or a related field

Donor Finance Cost and Pricing Manager - up to £51,000. London - Hybrid
For an International NGO operating in 40 countries worldwide, we are recruiting a Donor Finance Cost and Pricing Manager - Programme Design and Development. Reporting to the Senior Cost and Pricing Manager, this role will partner with the Programme Design and Development Team to secure new funding via first-class responses to country-level, multi-country, regional and global opportunities for donor funding. This role will support the team in ensuring overall quality of cost proposals and bid submissions while building capability of in-country support teams to create effective cost proposals and program budgets.
Main Duties:
- Develop Cost Proposals: Supporting the proposal development processes and coordinate the Donor cost proposal; reviewing budget templates and cost guidance for country programs, ensuring all Donor cost requirements are met. Travel to country programme to assist in budget building as required
- Manage Relationships: Coordinate with partners for the provision of budget guidelines and time-lines, review partner budget submissions ensuring standards are maintained. Ensure handover from proposal stage to securing a project is managed effectively
- Create and distribute information packs for partners with supporting financial information. Train country Programmes in the use of proposal templates and develop tools and processes for developing proposals and budgets
- Support the Donor Forecast and Pipeline Development Project Manager with reports and analysis
- Ensure there is a good understanding in the organisation of project coding, grant, and contract payment terms
- Work with the SUN systems team to ensure projects are opened and closed effectively
- Statutory and Donor Audits - ensure year end analysis of project budgets, assist partners and in-country staff prepare for donor audits
- Review country programme and external partner budgets for donor proposals
- Set up new projects in SUN and ensure donor reports are submitted and reconciled to SUN
- Review and provide analysis on the Project Finance Reports (PFRs)
- Manage the invoicing, cash flow forecasting and grant receivables balance reporting

Person Specification:

About this Role

The Philanthropy Manager is also responsible for nurturing and growing our existing portfolio of philanthropists and philanthropic organisations by building strong relationships and securing unrestricted income in line with the Supporter Engagement Strategy.

About the role
Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.
You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).
The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team. Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams.
If you think you have the skills, qualities and drive to fulfil this role, but don’t meet all of the specifications, or perhaps you’ve gained your experience in (for example) commercial sales or within relationships management and are looking to move into development work, we would still welcome hearing from you. For a global NGO, we're recruiting a Project Finance Officer. Reporting to the Project Finance Manager, this role will run efficient programme financial accounting, financial management and financial reporting processes for donor funded programmes and grants. This role will support the full life cycle of grants, from donor proposal to final reporting and will work closely with Finance and Programme teams as well as in-country staff, partner agencies and external Donors.
What you'll be doing:
- Financial planning, and financial management for grant funded programmes
- Monitoring budgets, cash-flow, and donor compliance reporting
- Maintaining the grant tracker, cost recovery process and cash balance management
- Preparing monthly performance dashboard reports and quarterly cash balance reports for grant programmes
- Working with in-country teams to ensure effective grants management and compliance i.e., ensuring all grants are recorded and monitored, and that grant codes are correctly set up
- Reviewing proposal budgets, liaising with the Programmes team, ensuring compliance with donor requirements
- Timely submission of cash requests for Donor contracts and sub-grant agreements
- Preparing donor sub-grant agreements with field units, and partners
- Supporting the preparation and follow-up of internal and external grant audits
- Training and capacity building sessions for in-country teams
What you'll offer:
- Experience working with EC, ECHO, FCDO, or equivalent with understanding of compliance restricted funding and grants rules and regulations
