Job Title: Training Facilitator

Location: Our central office in Islington, just a 10 minute walk from Highbury & Islington station. We work in a hybrid way, with a minimum of two days a week spent in the office or at one of our services, along with regular travel to various sites across both inner and outer London. Kindly be aware that step free access is not be available at our central office, and some of our other services. 

Salary: £30,900

Shift Pattern: 12 month fixed term contract, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. You may be required to work outside these hours and days as required.  

About the role

We have an exiting opportunity for a Training Facilitator to join our Talent Development team, part of the wider People and Culture team here at SIG! In this role, you’ll oversee and deliver our specialised training programmes for our staff, residents, participants, and external parties. You'll be at the heart of the full training journey including research training needs, designing and developing training content and delivering sessions both in person and online. No two days are the same. 
Some of the key subject areas include: 

De-escalation, conflict management, team building, grief and bereavement, housing/Independent living, employability, confidence and self esteem, and resilience

In this role, you'll:

• Support all stages of training and learning from research, planning to creating, delivering and keeping training records up to date whilst managing admin
• Have a good understanding of what care staff need to do their jobs well, whilst making a positive experience for diverse groups (staff, residents, external stakeholders)
• Help bring information come to life, ensuring its engaging for the audience, promoting inclusivity, safeguarding, and a positive learning culture
• Adapt content delivery styles to suit learners from staff to residents and external partners; identifying skills gaps and implementing feedback for improvement
• Deliver training sessions across a variety of locations, including inner and outer London, along with other locations throughout the UK

The National Pro Bono Centre brings together charities dedicated to providing pro bono legal services and improving access to justice. We serve as a central resource for charities who help people seeking free legal advice and representation. Funding Officer – Thematic and missions focused aligned to It starts with Community

We’re looking for four Funding Officers to support a range of initiatives across England. These are 12-month fixed term contracts.

As a Welfare Services Navigator, you will be on the front line of the organisation, providing essential support to beneficiaries through our helpline, email, and web chat services. You will advise members of the RAF family on the financial assistance and support services available through the RAF Benevolent Fund, guiding them on how to access these resources when needed.

The successful candidate will be proactive, with experience of working with people in a supportive capacity. They must be able to engage sensitively and professionally with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. A solid level of administrative experience is essential, ideally gained within a welfare or support-focused environment, along with confidence in using CRM IT systems.

The role will be office based at our London HQ, with a minimum of three days working in the office per week. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Basic DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who has the skills, experience and aptitude to work with the Trustees to refine and support delivery of The Pixel Fund’s overall vision and strategy, and to be the public face of the charity.The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the charity, currently carried out by a part-time administrator, which position is to be discontinued following the CEO appointment.

We are looking for an individual with experience of working in a leadership role with a board of Trustees, ideally with hands-on experience in grant-making and grant management, including managing a portfolio of live grant-holders.Strong financial and budgetary management skills are also desirable, in particular to reduce the Charity’s reliance on the Voluntary Treasurer.

The Trustees wish to appoint an individual who has a demonstrable understanding of, and commitment to, supporting the mental health and wellbeing of Children and Young People.The role will include upholding the charity’s vision, values and strategic focus, including championing equality, diversity and inclusion across our work.

The appointment is currently offered on a part-time basis of 3 days per week, with the potential to be extended in future.Candidates should note that The Pixel Fund does not have a permanent base and almost all activity is conducted online (including grant management). 

Hours and place of work are flexible, but as all Trustees are based in the South-East of England, that location is desirable. Join a co-operative providing British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreters and developing tech to support to users. The co-operative is co-run and co-owned by its members, who are Deaf people and BSL interpreters. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Operations Team Leader to provide a high quality and efficient service, helping the business to achieve agreed targets whilst working to the co-operative’s ethos. 

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the provision of communication professionals for Deaf/Hard of Hearing people across for medical (including mental health) appointments and for other work in a variety of sectors (education, child protection, conference, employment, legal settings etc)
• Accepting and making calls
• Dealing with bookings and general enquiries in a fast-paced environment
• Supporting marketing and business development and communicating to members and external stakeholders
• Supporting other staff where necessary

The position is grounded in the co-operative’s ethos, ensuring financial processes align with the organisation’s values and strategic objectives. As a Trainee Floating Support Worker, you will travel across London to meet clients in their homes and communities, tackling housing issues, supporting health and wellbeing, and helping them achieve personal goals.
