The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a reliable, conscientious and self-motivated individual to join our Management Information (MI) team in the role of MI Support Officer.  Our MI team has a strong reputation in all areas of data management.

Inspire provides a full MI service to the nine local authorities that make up the London East sub-region and we work in close partnership with wider London local authorities, career companies and other national partners to support the needs of young people through the intelligent use of management information. We have a reputation for providing insightful and informative data analysis to meet local and national requirements, always ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and security.

Key responsibilities of the MI support officer include:

• Support the delivery of MI and data services to local authorities in East London.
• Provision of a management information helpline service to all stakeholders and service users.
• Support database administration and maintenance.
• Run database queries and reports to extract and collate data.
• Accurately process large datasets using a range of data management tools.
• Support the production and publication of a range of reports.
• Completion of regular data quality monitoring tasks to support the accuracy of data submissions and reporting.

Digital Champions will operate at local community venues including Community Pharmacies, Phlebotomy clinics, and at community events, with a strong focus on NHS App promotion to Bexley residents. This is an opportunity to be at the centre of an exciting, innovative partnership project, working closely with the statutory and voluntary sector partners in taking the scheme into a new phase of development. Key Duties:

• To be the first point of contact for the existing network of Digital Champions in the borough, and support organisations to recruit, onboard and manage new Digital Champions.
• To directly manage a pool of Digital Champions under BVSC and lead on recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• To organise regular online and face-to-face meetings for Digital Champions.
• To develop and implement a communications plan that raises awareness of the Digital Champions Network in Bexley and of the challenges and opportunities digital inclusion presents.
• To explore new opportunities with partners and the sector more broadly in a way that aims to expand the digital champions project and create a more digitally inclusive culture for Bexley residents.
• To organise regular events, training and information sessions for Digital Champions based on needs.
• To collect data and write reports on the project for presentation to partnership committees and health and wellbeing boards.
• To represent Bexley Digital Champions at London-wide and national forums and conferences.
• Attend staff meetings, supervision and training as required.

 The Brent Centre for Young People is looking for an experienced, dynamic person to join its Clinical Administration Team.

The Brent Centre for Young People is a charity based in North West London (Kilburn) that provides psychotherapeutic treatments to young people aged 11-25 years, who suffer with emotional difficulties and have mental health needs. The Centre has an international reputation and delivers world-leading evidence-based practices to young people across North West London. On average, the centre helps over 700 young people per year through its In-house and Outreach Services.

We are looking for an experienced clinical administrator with strong people and communication skills to help run our clinical services.

This post is an exciting opportunity to be part both of supporting the growth of this new service and supporting clinical administration at the Brent Centre within an existing small team.

The suitable candidate will have at least two years’ experience of clinical and/or general administration and reception duties. This post will suit a confident, reliable individual with strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

You will be expected to be confident in IT skills (including the use of Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level) and apply them to recording data accurately on a daily basis on our client database.

Chalk Farm Tenant Management Organisation (TMO) is looking for a competent leader with a passion for social housing to manage our housing organisation.

Located close to the historic Camden Market, the TMO provides housing services and community activities for residents of the estate. As estate manager, your main duties will be to:

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Retention

• Administer the recruitment process by placing job adverts into the template on Canva, removing expired job adverts from the THET website; downloading applications; setting up interviews

The Finance Systems Analyst is a newly created role which will have responsibility for the efficient running and maintenance of ClientEarth’s finance systems, including Access Focal Point- which has been in use for over five years and Workday Adaptive Planning, a new system for the organisation. As a Youth Tech Abuse Lead you will provide specialist support to Refuge’s children support workers and frontline staff to ensure children, young people, and protective parents are using technology safely and positively in our refuges. You will increase understanding and awareness of your colleagues on tech-facilitated abuse and how to identify and respond to risks.  Approximately 40% of the role focuses on working directly with children and young people and their parents in empowerment workshops, and 60% of the role will focus on capacity building and training frontline staff.

You will work closely Senior Programme Manager – Children and Young People, deputising for them in ensuring the voices of children and young are central to the development of services and Refuge’s systemic change initiatives.

The role does require a particular focus on supporting survivors of tech-facilitated abuse under the age of 18, this would require developing and delivering tech-facilitated abuse and online safety workshops to children, young people, and protective parents in refuges across London.

KEY CRITERIA

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities, this includes a track record of securing new bids and/or retaining existing contracts

• IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, experience in Microsoft, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability and willingness to travel and attend market engagement events and to visit services to gain greater understanding of what SIG offers and to inform teams of relevant tender responses
• Ability to create and write engaging content, with proofreading skills

Key Duties and Accountabilities include:

● Ensure the deliverables of the CCX Operations Team are met in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.

● Establish and maintain agile operational structures and systems necessary for CCX's missions, including but not limited to finance, people management, procurement, IT and data management, business applications, corporate governance, and facilities management.

● Manage and supervise staff or contractors within the operations team to ensure effective performance, including roles such as Business Applications Manager, Finance and Office Manager, Data and HR Coordinator.

● Develop, implement, and maintain corporate policies, strategies, and procedures pertaining to finance, human resources, IT, data management, safeguarding, and governance.

● Ensure the capacity and capability to provide support services to CCX team and stakeholders, such as dioceses, church leaders, church planters, TEIs, and Together partners, by recruiting and retaining skilled personnel and providing necessary resources.

BACKGROUND

Amnesty Tech is a programme in Amnesty International Secretariat (the movement head office) Research and Policy Directorate with a mission to protect and extend human rights in a world of rapid, technological change.

Amnesty Tech is seeking a consultant to specifically work with our Children and Young Peoples' Digital Rights, Health and Well-being (CYD) team. The CYD team work on delivering the RIGHTS Click programme. The overarching vision of this team is of a world where online platforms and other digital technologies are safe, healthy and supportive spaces for children and young people, helping them realize their human rights.

The consultant will work collaborate with Amnesty Tech's Children and Young people's Digital Rights, Health and Well-being (CYD) team. The vision of this team is a world where online platforms and other digital technologies are safe, healthy and supportive spaces for Children and Young people helping them realise their human rights.

PURPOSE   

The consultancy is intended to deliver policy research into the various measures designed to tackle the creation and/or dissemination of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on the internet that have been proposed in legislation in a number of jurisdictions.

The assignment would include:

-Review of our current policy positions to see how they would inform a position on these approaches to tackling CSAM, including our policy on consensual teen sexual activity, opposition to the weakening or breaking of end-to-end encryption (E2EE), etc.

-Review of proposed strategies for tackling CSAM in key jurisdictions including the EU, UK and USA, as well as any other countries or multi-lateral initiatives (such as the UNODC) proposing measures that will have an impact on human rights and digital rights.

-The human rights implications of these measures, for instance how weakening encryption or client-side scanning poses risks to children's right to privacy, but also all users' right to privacy and also poses risks to the right to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly in repressive contexts.

-The pros and cons of the proposed strategies and whether or not they are consistent with human rights, particularly the rights of the child, and digital rights.

-The research should also consider consensual sharing of sexually explicit images between teenagers who may be affected by any laws or measures to tackle CSAM.

-Look into the positive role education about online safety might play in mitigating some risks and government duties to provide such education to minimise harm to children and balance other rights.

OBJECTIVES AND DELIVERABLES  

The Consultant will deliver:

-An internal policy briefing on the human rights implications of measures to tackle the creation and dissemination of CSAM on the internet.

-The main human rights concerns of each of these measures, for instance the risk to the right to privacy of breaking or weakening E2EE.

-The human rights implications of these measures on consensual teen sexual activity such as sexting or the consensual taking of explicit photos.

-An analysis of the human rights implications of AI-generated CSAM in order to inform Amnesty's position on this.

-An overview of the main measures to tackle CSAM that have been proposed in legislation, for instance client-side scanning of photos on mobile devices or actions that companies have introduced voluntarily such as scanning cloud-based services.

-The pros and cons (and ergo the proportionality and necessity) of each of these measures in terms of their ability to tackle CSAM versus the impacts they have on other rights or the limitations to their effectiveness in tackling CSAM.

-What role can education play in mitigating these online harms related to CSAM?

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS  

-Knowledge of international human rights law and the human rights framework as it relates to children's rights.

-Experience of working on the issues connected to children's rights in the digital environment.

-Understanding of key human rights issues (such as the right to privacy) related to the digital technologies such as end to end encryption.
