The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering Doorstep Sport offers and support for the network of Locally Trusted Organisations based in the region who support young people from low-income communities to be (more) physically active.

The role involves:

• Working closely with the Network Support Team and the London & South East Place Team to implement regional plans, which ensure that projects, offers and support to Locally Trusted Organisations (LTOs) are effective
• Overseeing and directly delivering a range of workshops and courses, creating and maintaining a safe, supportive, interactive and enjoyable learning environment in all delivery
• Delivering support to the workforce within Doorstep Sport beyond the workshop environment through CPD groups, bite-size learning and other opportunities for improving practice

About the role:

As a Project Worker Complex Needs in our ELMS Service, you will have the rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals living with paranoid schizophrenia and other complex needs. Working Hours

Our Young People need care 24/7 so we have fixed rotas, with staff needing to be able to commit to weekends and bank holidays.

For Waking Night support staff; shifts are 11.5 hours from 20:00 - 07:30 or 21:00 - 08:30, on average you will be working 40 hours a week.

There is always the possibility to do overtime if you need a bit extra, this is paid time and half; same as bank holidays.

About the role

Our residents in this service have experienced long-term street homelessness and have faced significant challenges including with their mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency, and struggled to sustain engagement with support services. That's why they're here, to make a change and gain the support they need to enable greater independence and recovery.

In this role, as a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents, working to ensure the safety and wellbeing. You will build trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins. Your role will focus on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals.

Job Title: Support Mentor (Nights)

Location: Latimer Road, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) - Short walking distance from Latimer Road underground station (Circle and Hammersmith and City Lines)

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a 6 week rolling rota which includes at least one day shift per week, weekends, and bank holidays. Hours can vary between 21:00 - 09:00 and 11:00 - 20:00

About the role

Our residents in this service have experienced long-term street homelessness and have faced significant challenges including with their mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency, and struggled to sustain engagement with support services. That's why they're here, to make a change and gain the support they need to enable greater independence and recovery.

As a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provides person centred support to our residents, you will work to ensure safety and wellbeing of our residents. You will support mainly the night shifts to ensure the service runs smoothly at night, being a point of contact for residents, engaging with them to ensure their safety comes first, and running various evening activities for engagement. You will build trusting and professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through one to one sessions, group sessions, and general wellbeing check ins. During quieter hours, you will be responsible for ensuring administration is up to date, the service is kept clean and tidy, and will support with additional ad hoc tasks. 

About you

We're looking for someone who has a true passion for what we do as an organisation, and particularly in supporting those who have faced homelessness and may have other complex needs. Our residents needs are at the forefront of service delivery, so someone who can build trusting professional relationships is key. You will be adaptable, proactive, and able to use your initiative to resolve challenges, and keep the night service running smoothly. You will be able to work within a team, and have previous knowledge of the needs our residents may have. Each support plan is tailored to the individual, putting their needs first for the team to be able to deliver support to their needs. What are we looking for:

• Understanding of the needs of those who have faced homelessness and have various complex needs including mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency
• Ability to use IT systems to record case notes, email relevant people, and use other software required within the role

Overall purpose

The Employment Adviser (EA) plays a key role in supporting refugees and people from refugee backgrounds to progress towards and secure sustainable employment. The EA provides tailored employment advice and guidance, helping clients build the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to navigate the UK job market. This role will work with clients at various stages of their employment journey, with a particular focus on those in the earlier stages of understanding career options, developing employability skills, and exploring education, training, and volunteering opportunities.

The EA will deliver one-to-one and group-based employability support, collaborate with employers and volunteers to source opportunities for clients, and maintain strong relationships with referral and support partners to ensure a holistic approach to employment support.

The Project Officer role oversees the site's landscape maintenance contract to ensure the park remains attractive, safe, and well-managed. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Project Officer with good administrative skills. You will be able to foster a strong working relationship with the Southern Park landscape maintenance contractors. You will have a passion for engaging people with wildlife and nature in an urban environment, along with experience working with volunteers and/or community groups from diverse backgrounds. You will have the capability to relay information effectively to a broad audience, both verbally and written. Being flexible and able to juggle priorities in a busy, ever-changing environment is key to this role

To fulfil the role, you must be resident in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

As Health & Wellbeing Coach Lead, you will oversee and support a small team of coaches, while also delivering personalised, one-to-one coaching yourself. Working closely with Primary Care colleagues and community partners, you’ll help design and deliver a person-centred, holistic programme that empowers people to manage their health and wellbeing more confidently and reduce reliance on clinical interventions.
