The Adult Lead Worker service is based at our main hub in Digbeth but provides city-wide support to adults experiencing multiple disadvantage. This service provides flexible, strengths-based advice and support to people aged 18 years plus who experience two or more of substance use, poor mental health, history of repeat homelessness and offending history. Clients may also be serially excluded from services or be at risk of exclusion from mainstream services.

This is a targeted service that aims to build resilience, improve health and wellbeing and move people towards independent living at an early stage, in order to prevent or delay the need for crisis interventions.

The Lead Workers will also act as a community navigator linking the client into local services and activities, ensuring access to and receipt of necessary care and support that will vary for each client.

You will be leading a large team of Lead Workers and report to the Service Manager.

Selection of Service Management duties :-

1. To oversee operational delivery of the Adult Lead Worker Service to ensure that the outcomes are achieved in line with the contract requirements.

2. To manage data capture relating to the contract and ensure effective support plans, case notes and statistical data analysis is available.

3. To assist in regular reporting through a range of statistical data, case studies, client feedback and other routes on a monthly and quarterly basis.

4. Work alongside and in partnership with other services across the city to promote appropriate referrals and joint working to get the best outcomes for clients.

 We are looking for an organised, proactive and creative Events and engagement manager to join our team on a 12 month part time 0.8 FTE contract.

You will lead our core events programme. You will manage in-person and online events, liaise with speakers and attendees, prepare briefings and promotional materials, ensuring all events are delivered efficiently, on budget and in line with our environmental standards.

You will also manage internal staff events, monitor and evaluate event outcomes and manage our contacts database, maintaining accuracy and GDPR compliance. Position in the Organisation

The post holder reports to the head of communications and works in consultation with senior management and the policy and politics team on event planning. The position sits within the communications team, comprised of the head of communications, press officer, two communications officers and the events assistant. They rely on additional support from the events assistant and our team of trainees in preparing events, as well as the full staff team, who represent us at events.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Events management:

- Manage and curate Green Alliance core events programme, assist staff as required on their specialist events and be the first point of contact for all event enquiries.

- Target relevant audiences and manage invitee and attendee lists, liaise with speakers and produce briefings and promotional material as necessary.

- Liaise with venues, arranging catering and other event services within budget.

About the role 

At the heart of our operations, our exceptional Regional Casework Coordinators serve as the primary point of contact for members of the armed forces community reaching out to our Regional Offices for support.

In this dynamic role, no two days are the same. You may be supporting individuals in distress over the phone, managing email and voicemail communications, collaborating with volunteers on complex casework, building strong relationships with local authorities and charitable organisations, or working closely with internal services to secure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support them. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensuring that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service.

Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the East of England region in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, or Essex.

The post of Charity Communications Officer is an important link between the hospital charity, the local community and hospital staff. The post holder will require good knowledge of modern communication channels and considerable energy and enthusiasm that will inspire the patients, visitors and local community to choose the charity as their preferred charity to support. Also to work with regional/local media, staff and volunteer networks and related charities (Leagues of Friends, Rockinghorse etc.) in support of the agreed Communications Strategy of the charity.

About the role 

Volunteers are vital to Parkinson’s UK; they provide high valued support and services through local branches, groups and cafes. This rewarding role provides the opportunity to work directly with volunteers, together making a positive difference to the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s. 

You’ll act as the main point of contact and support for volunteers in local branches, groups and cafes. As part of an integrated regional team, you’ll contribute to shared plans and priorities. Working remotely and in person, you’ll provide the highest quality customer care and support volunteers in line with the charity’s governance requirements, as well as our policies and procedures. You’ll provide high quality business support to colleagues to promote volunteering opportunities and bring volunteers together in the local community.

What you’ll do:

• Provide excellent customer service to local group volunteers through remote and in-person support. 

• Be the main point of contact for colleagues seeking support to recruit volunteers in the community as part of a regional team. 

• Support volunteers to lead their groups in line with governance requirements through provision of information and relevant tools. 

• Support our local group volunteers with reviewing and planning their activities (including associated budgets). 

• Manage volunteer records using online tools such as the volunteer management system, local activities database, for example. 

• Support events and meetings which bring volunteers together in the community. 

• Promote and facilitate volunteer recruitment, induction and training to local volunteer roles. 

• Maintain relevant data on local group activities, or support lead volunteers to do so. 

• Produce regular reports for performance reporting and monitoring. 

• Collaborate and liaise with colleagues across the charity, as appropriate, to provide excellent customer service to volunteers in the community.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong volunteer support skills and an ability to work in a user-focused and inclusive way. 

• Experience of volunteer recruitment, induction and training. 

• Ability to manage and prioritise own workload whilst working collaboratively across a dispersed team of colleagues and volunteers. 

• Proven ability to take a solution focused approach, supporting with queries raised by volunteers. 

• Ability to confidently support group volunteers with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. 

• Practical experience of maintaining accurate data using administrative systems and databases. 

• A commitment to working in an inclusive way that encourages volunteering. 

• Experience of operating in a modern digital workplace including digital workplace including using digital communication routes.

We are seeking a motivated Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to secure vital income and build strong partnerships with funders across the UK.

Salary: £30,000 per annum (pro rata for part time hours)
Location: Remote, UK wide
Hours: 30 – 37.5 hours per week (permanent)
 

About the role

As Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser, you will play a key role in generating income to support our mission of sharing the joy of live music in care settings. You will manage a portfolio of small and medium value trusts and foundations, writing compelling funding proposals and delivering excellent stewardship to strengthen long-term relationships.

Overview of the Job:

• Preparing tailored applications to trusts and foundations in line with organisational strategy and values.
• Managing and developing relationships with funders, providing regular updates and impact reports.
• Undertaking prospect research to identify new funding opportunities.
• Supporting larger-scale applications in collaboration with the Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager.
• Working with internal teams to gather data, acknowledge donations, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Contributing to the strategic planning and stewardship approach for trust fundraising.

About you
