This is an exciting role in the Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCT UK) to be the focal point for providing effective support to the Director of Finance and the Finance Manager through the completion of month end, year end and audit, and associated processes. This post requires a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to join our charity’s finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with charity regulations, and supporting the organisation’s mission through sound financial management.

Essential Skills

· AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent)

· Evidence of continuing personal and professional development.

· Experience within a Finance Department of leading month end processes, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable 

· Experience of supporting an audit

· Experience of Sage 50 Accounts or a similar system

ACCT UK is a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people through supporting the Army Cadet Force and its activities in the community. The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. About the role

As Marketing and Communications Assistant, you will help us tell compelling stories about the work we do and the difference we make to children’s lives.  This exciting role would suit someone looking to gain experience in the charity sector and learn more about different areas of marketing and fundraising.  Experience of using Adobe InDesign is essential. 

Key responsibilities

The workload will be varied and rewarding.  Key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in developing marketing and fundraising campaigns from concept to completion.
• Design and produce print and digital materials, and support basic video editing.
• Create social media content, schedule posts, and update website content.
• Assist in marketing our mental health services to schools and promoting access to our family centres.
• Work with service teams to design engaging resources to support our work with children and families.
• Contribute to events, deliver presentations and manage communications with supporters.
• Help to distribute gifts and food to hundreds of disadvantaged families at Christmas.

The Role

The Finance & Operations Coordinator is a central position in a small, purpose-driven team. The role provides direct support to the Managing Director and works closely with the Finance Committee to ensure that the charity’s financial and operational systems are well managed, compliant and effective.

This is a broad and hands-on role that involves managing day-to-day UK operations, supporting financial oversight, ensuring smooth coordination with our in-country partners, and keeping our administrative framework in excellent order.

You will be responsible for maintaining clear systems, meeting key reporting deadlines, and ensuring that the organisation runs efficiently behind the scenes. The role suits someone who is proactive, reliable, and comfortable managing a wide variety of tasks with independence and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Finance and Reporting

• Maintain accurate financial records in Xero, reconciling transactions and processing payments for invoices, payroll and expenses.

• Allocate receipts and donations to the correct funds and ensure supporting documentation is filed systematically.

• Prepare and submit Gift Aid claims to HMRC.

• Collate quarterly financial and narrative reports from Moroccan partner NGOs and follow up on missing information.

• Support the Managing Director and Finance Committee with budget preparation, analysis and audit documentation.

• Ensure that annual accounts and financial reports are submitted in line with Charity Commission requirements.

Operations and Administration

• Oversee and improve shared filing systems (Teams/SharePoint), ensuring that all administrative and financial records are accurate, up to date and easy to access.

• Manage the main email inbox, responding to or redirecting correspondence promptly and professionally.

• Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and annual project visits in Morocco.

• Support the Managing Director with scheduling, documentation, and general administrative follow-up.

• Monitor compliance tasks, ensuring that all Charity Commission and internal governance requirements are up to date and properly documented.

Donor and Partner Relations

• Act as a first point of contact for donors, supporter schools, hotels and individuals.

• Process and acknowledge donations, issue receipts and maintain accurate donor records.

• Proactively follow up with existing and potential supporters, helping to build and maintain relationships.

• Liaise with Moroccan partners to ensure that project and financial reporting are on track and shared on time.

Governance and Oversight

• Support the Finance Committee and Managing Director with preparation for trustee and committee meetings, including gathering reports and ensuring actions are followed up.

• Assist with external audits and reviews, coordinating with UK auditors and Moroccan partners as needed.

• Maintain oversight of risk management, safeguarding and health and safety documentation, ensuring relevant information is filed and accessible.

• Experience with Xero or similar accounting software, and confidence handling day-to-day bookkeeping.

We are now recruiting a Team Lead for our Connect to Work IPS service across Kingston and Sutton. This is an opportunity to help shape high-quality IPS delivery and support a team to achieve strong, meaningful outcomes for clients.

What you’ll be doing

If you were working with us, you would be leading a team of six Employment Specialists, providing day-to-day direction, supervision, and practical guidance to ensure excellent IPS practice. You would offer regular one-to-one supervision, in-field mentoring, training, and caseload management support. Your leadership would help the team deliver consistent quality and outcomes across the service.

You would work closely with clinical team leads, contract commissioners, and health partners, maintaining strong and positive relationships to support collaborative, client-led work. You would also contribute to improving performance by identifying challenges, supporting solutions, and modelling excellent IPS practice.

Data analysis and monthly reporting would form part of your responsibilities, ensuring that performance information is accurate, meaningful, and useful. You would work alongside the Operations Manager to monitor progress, address areas for improvement, and maintain high IPS fidelity. While the Operations Manager leads on quarterly reporting, your support and insight would be essential.

Although this is a busy and varied role, you would not be working alone. You would be supported by the Operations Manager and the wider Head Office team, with access to training, guidance, and practical help to enable you and your team to succeed.

What you’ll need

You do not need previous team management experience. Instead, we are looking for:

• Experience as an Employment Specialist or Senior Employment Specialist.

• A proven track record of achieving strong performance in outcomes and quality.

• Confidence demonstrating IPS principles and modelling good practice.

• Experience improving performance or supporting change, whether individually or across a team.

• Advantageous (but not essential): involvement in an IPS fidelity review.

The Adanna Women’s Support Group provides training and skills to help women into employment and to help women excel in the jobs they are doing. Our training is in Business skills, administration, IT, childcare and employability.

We are looking for an employment coach who can support women who are economically inactive to improve their skills and find employment

The Role

This role will support a small caseload of women with a range of needs who are looking to move into work, enabling them to find the right opportunities and sustain the roles through improved skills training. The coach will also need to be skilled in working with employers to source jobs and support them to make their roles accessible. Growing and maintaining a strong employer base will be a central part of this role.

Minimum Criteria

· An understanding of the employment needs, and challenges faced by BAME women who are economically inactive or experience multiple barriers to employment.

· Experience of working with individuals on a one-to-one basis, developing personalised plans and goal setting

· Experience of managing a range of tasks at any one time, and holding positive relationships with different stakeholders

-Experience of designing and delivering entry level training e.g. digital skills, confidence building, English as a second language conversation sessions

Working hours

· The role is a part time fixed contract position with the possibility of extending pending receipt of funding. Working 21 hours per week, Monday, Thursday and Friday. Hours are flexible but ideally 9.30 to 4.30pm.

• Knowledge, empathy, understanding and proven ability to work creatively and engage homeless people whose alcohol/ drug misuse/ mental health/ complex trauma has had significant effect on their physical and mental health, social and coping skills .
• Ability to assess needs, risks (within a framework of positive risk taking) and develop user led support plans.
• Awareness of and ability to identify and address health and care issues with partners, especially substance misuse, mental health, dementia etc.
• Ability to respond to challenging behaviour in a safe way.
• Ability to develop successful professional relationships, working collaboratively with external and internal partners , sharing expertise and learning from colleagues in health, social care,probation and voluntary sector etc
• Knowledge of and commitment to service user involvement, self empowerment, equalities, diversity andservice improvement

About the Role 

Kinship is the leading kinship care charity in England and Wales. We work with all kinship carers – the grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles and family friends who step up to raise children when their parents can’t. 

We’re excited to be launching Kinship Reach in Staffordshire, a completely new contract that will extend our trusted support to many more kinship families. Reach is delivered entirely online, offering tailored one-to-one and group support that is flexible, accessible and rooted in kinship carers’ lived experience. 

As a Kinship Family Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support through a digital model that fits around carers’ lives. You will: 

• Complete online family assessments and develop tailored support plans. 

• Provide emotional and practical support over a structured intervention period. 

• Run online group sessions that build connection, confidence and community. 

• Help carers access wider services and community assets in Staffordshire and beyond. 

• Work closely with our partners in Staffordshire to ensure families receive the right support at the right time.
