Could you be the impactful Programme Director we seek to lead, develop and oversee the delivery of the next stage of the Richmond Group Physical Activity Programme and We are Undefeatable Campaign (WAU), with a budget of £8m?

This influential post is offered as a fixed-term contract ending March 2028. It will initially involve improving programme oversight and integrating the Physical Activity Programme and the We are Undefeatable Campaign teams to enhance collaboration and ways of working. The Physical Activity Programme, a partnership with Sport England and the National Lottery, is entering an exciting new phase, which will focus on the evolution of We Are Undefeatable, from Above-The-Line to an 'always on' campaign, expanding our system influencing work, both nationally and at 'place' level, and building a powerful evidence base for how we can support the least active to move more

The role will have overall responsibility for the implementation of the strategic aims of the programme and ensure effective governance, budget oversight, and delivery of the system influencing work and WAU campaign. As Programme Director, you will extensively collaborate at leadership level with existing and new partnerships and stakeholders, parliamentarians and systems leaders to drive impactful interventions.

We operate a hybrid-working model and will require the post holder to be in our central London office a minimum of two days each week. Travel costs to our London office are not covered by the charity.

Essential criteria:

• Proven experience in programme management, ideally within the health sector or physical activity, in a fast-paced organisation Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership management to influence change, increase collaboration and sustainability
• Working and leading partnerships, developing and maintaining strategic and professional networks
• Experience of managing externally funded restricted income programmes.

The Supporter Journey Officer is a new role within the Supporter Journey team. This role will suit a proactive team player who has experience in the fundraising sector together with a keen interest in, and knowledge of, supporter experience and stewardship. About the role

As the Supporter Journey Officer, you will assist the Supporter Journey Manager with the development and elevation of an integrated supporter journey programme at Versus Arthritis, ensuring our contactable community receives a consistent and highly engaging supporter experience, which builds loyalty and inspires action. 

This will include delivery of audience focused, integrated organisational journeys that build on our highly motivated community of supporters, based on shared values. These journeys will be managed across our platforms and audiences to significantly grow our voluntary income and lifetime value. You will be responsible for the delivery of communications across channels, including email, post and text messaging, ensuring accurate and timely implementation of agreed communications.

Central to increasing loyalty and inspiring positive action from our audience, we share the extent of the work being done by Versus Arthritis for the 10 million people in the UK living with arthritis. Alongside product managers, you will work to optimise in-product journeys across the organisation through consultancy and shared learning. You will work collaboratively with the head of department and other directorate colleagues to create and embed a fundraising and engagement culture across the organisation.

A key part of the role is to provide practical, administrative support and to lead on facilitating the collection of insight evaluation and future development, ensuring this supports team performance and learning. We’re a small and dynamic team at the forefront of innovating the charity’s Income and Engagement directorate.

Health & Safety Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Officer to join our Estates Team. In your role as the Health & Safety Officer will be to provide support on an operational basis to the health & safety function.

Role Requirements

• Promote good stakeholder involvement and good safety culture
• Prepare and issue monthly health and safety briefing documents / toolbox talks
• Keep health and safety information up to date, including all fire safety documentation (fire emergency plans, fire safety manuals etc.), the health and safety section of the intranet and shared documents
• Carry out regular walkabouts, including at retail stores, keeping in touch with staff on their safety arrangements and ensuring control measures are in place and effective
• Provide health and safety training and coaching on topics such as, but not limited to, general health & safety (induction and refresher training), fire safety, COSHH, risk assessing and manual handling
• Develop and refresh internal online training to support staff learning experiences
• Carry out general risk assessment, as required, with particular emphasis on retail, regulatory requirements, outings and the clinical environment.
• Update fire risk assessments for low to medium-risk buildings, tracking completion of actions and updating compliance software
• Manage COSHH risk assessments and the COSHH risk register, checking on suitable PPE and storage
• Manage compliance with workstation assessments, including homeworking, using the external management system
• Support teams, enabling them to carry out their risk assessments, including manual handling assessments for inanimate activities
• Develop and keep up to date Safe Operating Procedures for health and safety.

As an associate, you will be involved in the delivery of aspects of the Board Development programme including our NHS quality for NEDs module. Description of the associate role

The Aga Khan Foundation (UK), is hiring a Finance Manager, to lead the financial management and oversight of Schools2030 programme, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant financial accounting, reporting, and oversight. The role will support the delivery of all financial aspects of the Schools2030 programme, including donor reporting, reconciliations, cost recovery, budgeting, and compliance, in close collaboration with programme colleagues and the wider AKF(UK) finance team.

Financial oversight, planning, and reporting

• Produce monthly financial reports on Schools2030 for the AKF(UK) Finance Committee.

• Produce quarterly financial reports on Schools2030 for the Schools2030 management team and AKF Geneva.

• Produce monthly financial reports on Schools2030 spend in the UK for the Schools2030 UK team.

• Prepare all Schools2030 donor financial reports and ensure consistency with internal data.

• Review all financial transactions related to Schools2030 on a monthly basis and ensure that they are correct including cost recovery, co-financing, bank balances, and coding.

• Monitor financial balances for Schools2030 programme by grant, country and donor and immediately highlight any issues to the Programme Finance Manager.

• Ensure all Schools2030 grants are up to date in the Grant Management Tracker.

• Ensure all Schools2030 grants are up to date in the Co-financing Tracker.

• Ensure all Schools2030 grants are up to date in the cost recovery forecast.

Financial controls, compliance, and audit

• Ensure all Schools2030 grants are reconciled at least once every three months.

• Monitor and review foreign exchange gains and losses on all Schools2030 grants and highlight any areas of concern to the Programme Finance Manager.

• Develop and implement controls to ensure compliance with donor requirements and maintain appropriate donor stewardship, including through manuals, checklists, templates, and other tools.

• Ensure adherence to all financial policies, especially authorisation, procurement and due diligence

• Lead the Schools2030 annual budgeting and forecasting exercise including allocation of grants across programmatic workstreams, country units, UK team and the global team and updating for changes in donors or activities.

• Support the annual organisational budgeting and forecasting exercise. 

Grants, contracts, and suppliers

• Review and approve all Schools2030 partner budgets for proposals and reforecasts.

• Review and approve all Schools2030 donor budgets for proposals and reforecasts.

• Review and approve all Schools2030 donor cash requests as required by donor contracts.

• Review and approve all Schools2030 sub-grant agreements.

• Ensure all Schools2030 SGA balance tracking is up to date for all Schools2030 grants.

• Ensure all Schools2030 partners understand reporting and compliance requirements.

• Ensure Schools2030 partner quarterly BvA reports are reviewed, any necessary documentation checks carried out and any inconsistencies identified.

• Review and monitor the internal tool (AIMS) for tracking pipeline and secured funding and ensure it is up to date at all times.

• Oversee supplier tracking, including contracts, payment schedules, and documentation.

• Ensure all Schools2030 financial documents are stored on SharePoint in a structured and accessible way.

Supporting others

• Line manage the Finance Officer, Schools2030, ensuring clear objectives, regular check-ins, and ongoing support.

• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Programme Finance Manager or the Head of Finance and Operations 

Qualifications

• CCAB qualified accountant.

Experience

• 5 years relevant experience in financial accounting and financial reporting

• Experience of designing and managing effective administrative systems and procedures

• Experience of budgeting, forecasting and financial planning

• Experience working in international organisations or donor agencies including field-level implementation highly desirable.

• Experience working with Institutional donors or Trusts and Foundations and familiarity with the various compliance rules and regulations highly desirable.

Skills

About the Role 

The Head of Rough Sleeping Services will lead our services in our centre based at 12 Adelaide Street. The core purpose of these services is to minimise the harm associated with rough sleeping and support people into treatment and accommodation options. This will include Centre Services, our Community, Street Engagement and case work teams. You will also lead the delivery of any short-term emergency accommodation including SWEP and hotel provision.    

This opportunity comes at a particularly exciting time as the Connection looks to ambitiously develop our work at Adeliade Street into a hub of harm reduction and health inclusion for people rough sleeping in Westminster. As the Head of Rough Sleeping Services, you will lead the exciting strategic and operational work to deliver this, and have the chance to be part of a centre that aims to be a nationally recognised example of innovative practice.   

The role requires someone with a strong track record in service delivery with people who have complex needs. They must have experience of trauma informed care and similar associated practice.  Alongside ensuring high quality service delivery, they must have experience of developing new approaches, building relationships with statutory services and working with fundraising specialists to secure resources. The Head of Rough Sleeping Services will be a well organised and focused manager who uses coaching techniques to develop their team. Finally, they must be a positive role model with the personal credibility to build confidence in the charity both internally and externally.

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is expanding its network of senior volunteers to boost income from corporate and philanthropic sources. 

As our Partnerships and Senior Networks Lead, you’ll play a key role in supporting our income ambitions by cultivating relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and enhancing the charity’s ability to secure advice and support.

BHF’s senior volunteers help us drive income through introductions to their networks, advice around major giving and corporate partnership fundraising, and by advocating on our behalf to high-value audiences. You will manage and support these senior volunteers, oversee key fundraising boards, and facilitate the engagement activities and administration of volunteer initiatives including Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Boards.

About you
