Purpose of the role: 

To facilitate training workshops for kinship carers across England, as part of the national training team, through an annual programme of Kinship roadshows and in-person and online workshops. 

To contribute to the continual development and improvement of the Kinship training programme by developing new content and refining existing materials in line with insight, data, and feedback from kinship carers. 

This role is home-based with frequent travel across England

Key responsibilities include:

• Co-facilitate professional, high-quality training to kinship carers in England.

• Experience managing challenging or sensitive situations during training while maintaining clear boundaries, using Kinship's safeguarding framework where necessary.

• Ensure training is accessible, inclusive, and adapted to meet the diverse needs of participants.

• Meet training KPIs, including participants reporting they feel better supported (90%) and have increased understanding of the subject (80%).

• Contribute to the continuous development of training resources using insights, data, and feedback from kinship carers.

• Maintain a consistent and engaging approach across all training experiences.

• Use Salesforce effectively as the case management system to support training delivery, learning, and evaluation.

• Demonstrate confident and frictionless use of Zoom, including breakout rooms and interactive tools, to deliver engaging online training sessions.

• Actively support and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive, and supportive team environment.

Essential knowledge, abilities, skills and experience includes:

• Substantial experience delivering engaging online and in-person training and workshops for diverse audiences.

• Proven experience in professional facilitation using a range of techniques to engage participants.

• Demonstrable expertise using Zoom (including breakout rooms and tools) and PowerPoint to deliver high-quality training.

• Experience managing challenging or sensitive situations during training while maintaining clear boundaries.

• Proven ability to deliver training that achieves measurable impact and learning outcomes.

• Demonstrated use of a non-judgemental approach reflected in both language and behaviour.

• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with high attention to detail.

About This Job

This is an exciting training role in Army Cadet Headquarters responsible for the coordination, development and implementation of strategic training policy across the Army Cadets.

We are looking for a training professional to bring their skills, enthusiasm, and personal credibility to the team and lead on the training governance, strategic policy, and implementation of training requirements across both our volunteer staff and employed workforce.

The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. YMCA What is Sexual Exploitation (WiSE) is our child sexual exploitation project which works with children and young people across Sussex and Surrey. Our primary focus of work is supporting young people affected by exploitation through raising awareness, education and empowerment.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the WiSE team as a Male Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Practitioner. This role involves providing specialist support, working across Sussex and Surrey to provide case work support and group interventions to boys and young men at risk of or experiencing sexual exploitation, as well as those exhibiting harmful sexual behaviour. You will deliver outreach sessions in various settings, collaborate with professionals to support interventions leading to prosecutions, and provide training on boys/young men and sexual exploitation.

Due to the sensitive nature of the client group and in order to ensure that the young people feel safe, supported and understood, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder to be male, as permitted under the Equality Act 2010.

A full driving licence and access to a car are essential due to the wide geographic area covered by the service. You will be required to visit head office in Hove once a week for an anchor day. The other days will be across Sussex and Surrey in the community

In delivering the role, the key responsibilities are:

• Carry a caseload of boys and young men identified as exhibiting harmful sexual behaviours and/or being sexually exploited
• Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide intensive and holistic support
• Maintain detailed case notes and contribute to reports
• Facilitate group work interventions in schools, accommodation projects and youth groups
• Deliver detached sessions in various settings to engage at-risk boys and young men

About the role
 
In this UK-based role, with oversight of a £15m budget, we are looking for a strong, corporate business leader operating at a senior level to help take the Cystic Fibrosis Trust forward on our exciting journey towards a life unlimited by cystic fibrosis and optimising our finance and resources to deliver maximum impact for people with cystic fibrosis.
 
You will lead and develop a high performing multidisciplinary team of Heads including Finance, IT, Facilities, People and Organisation Development and Company Secretariat functions as well as work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Board of Trustees and other internal and external stakeholders.
 
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Financial leadership of the Trust’s financial management strategy and statutory reporting and audit processes as well as reporting to our Boards and Committees.
• Digital & information systems: Lead IT and Digital development and implementation strategies, including delivery of the new CRM replacement going live in 2026 (MS Dynamics)
• People & Organisational development: Lead best practice in our people management strategies, policies and practices as well as championing diversity and inclusion and staff learning and development.

To be the right person for this role, some of the requirements you will need to meet include:

• Proven ability to operate at a Director/Board level and as a senior leadership team member; backed up with strong experience and a proven track record as a Director of Finance.
• To be a qualified accountant (CCAB recognised or equivalent) with minimum five years post-qualification experience and ongoing CPD.
• Proven high level financial management skills and experience of developing and delivering business and financial strategies and managing complex budgets and financial modelling.
• Proven experience of directing, leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams and working with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrable up-to-date working knowledge of charity law including SORP, charity governance, employment law/HR best practice, Data Protection (GDPR), and strong understanding of IT systems and facilities management.

The Research, Training and Consultancy Team is transforming. We focus on providing evidence based and insightful research, training and consultancy to a range of different stakeholders within the transport and planning sectors. This is an exciting time to join and be part of a new and dynamic training and consultancy provision function. This role is a mixture of delivering primary qualitive research, delivering training, and providing disability specialist information as a consultant.

Our work seeks to change the culture of transport and street design in the long term. You need to be an expert in disability access requirements and legislation and be able to undertake primary research techniques (such as facilitation, leading focus groups, workshops and survey design.Alongside this you will need a strong knowledge of disability equality and the social model, ideally with a focus on the transport and/or planning sector. You will need to have strong written and verbal communication skills. This role will require some travel (depending on client needs). 

Your role will be broken down into 4 main areas, undertaking primary research methods (with the guidance of the Research Manager); delivery of training providing expert advice and consultancy; liaising with clients. You will be supported by the Head of Research and Training and the Research Manager to deliver your key responsibilities. 

The charity is rapidly scaling up, recently doubling its annual support to £6 million. Degrees has partnered with leading climate change funders and research partners including the Quadrature Climate Foundation, Open Philanthropy, Crankstart, Navigation Fund, Outlier Projects, LAD Climate Fund and UK Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA). Transparency of funding is essential to our work. We do not accept support from anonymous donors or funding from the fossil fuel industry. Fundraising for the organisation has been led by the Founder and CEO, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief of Staff, and the Chair of the Trustees with the support of an experienced Senior Philanthropy Advisor.

We now seek a full-time team member to build on this base. Reporting to the COO, and working closely with senior staff and the Chair, the Development Manager will support high‑performing fundraising that secures multi‑year, diversified funding. He / she will also introduce robust processes for pipeline management and donor stewardship and manage the complete donor lifecycle (from identification to cultivation to solicitation and stewardship) of a portfolio of top prospects. The post holder will receive initial onboarding support from the Senior Philanthropy Advisor. As fundraising grows, the team may expand in the future.

Initial priorities include expansion beyond the current donor pool, with a strong push to identify and engage new funders, and putting in place the systems (CRM, reporting cadence, key performance indicators) to support growth at scale.

As this is a new role, responsibilities are expected to evolve but some key items will include: 

Strategy & planning 

• Work with the CEO, Chief of Staff, COO, Senior Philanthropy Advisor, programme staff and the Chair of the Trustees to help develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with organisational objectives;

Pipeline development & new opportunities 

• Manage the fundraising pipeline, guiding the ongoing fundraising activities of senior staff and the Chair;
• Research and identify new funding opportunities from trusts and foundations, government funders, and multilateral donors in the development and climate sectors on an ongoing basis;
• Reach out to networks of donor advisors and established relationships for referrals;
• Initiate and manage contact with funding opportunities; 

Grant writing 

• Draft and coordinate the preparation and submission of grant proposals;

Donor stewardship & reporting

• Maintain excellent relations with existing funders by keeping them informed on charity and sector updates, inviting them to events, and ensuring the delivery of annual reports and notices;
• Ensure and manage ongoing formal grant reporting on behalf of the organisation;

Events & engagement 

• Often working with partners, plan and deliver fundraising events for existing and potential funders, particularly in the UK and US;
• Manage invitation lists, track attendance and ensure bespoke follow–up to attendees;
• Assist in the design of events that will inspire and engage funders while involving Southern experts in the Degrees research community;
• Coordinate all fundraising outreach and related programming for the Degrees Global Forum (a conference to be held in 2027); 

Processes, systems & administration

• Create and implement structured processes across the entire fundraising and donor lifecycle;
• Develop and track KPIs, providing regular reports to senior staff and the Trustees;
• Be responsible for fundraising data, contacts and administrative records.

• Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience
• Understanding of the issues affecting children, young people and families
• Experience monitoring, evaluating and reporting on service performance
• Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills
• Confident IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and Excel
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and travel within Southeast Hampshire

Desirable:

• Level 3 qualification in a relevant field
• Experience in the voluntary sector
• Knowledge of the local statutory/voluntary landscape
• Experience creating training programmes
• Familiarity with in-house databases

High Value Officer

The High Value Officer for our Fundraising team will focus and lead on supporting the Trusts and Major Donor teams with postal and electronic mailings; keeping the CRM up to date; supporting the Prospects Research Manager with initial research, identifying new opportunities and sources of funding; streamlining administrative systems and processes; creating purchase orders and invoices; supporting the Major Donor Manager with administration of the Mid Value pool.

This is a great junior role, offering opportunities in several High Value fundraising teams. You will get to use your administrative skills across a range of activities and also develop your research skills when looking at prospects and supporting the Corporate team in their due diligence work.

You will: 

1. With support from the MD Manager, lead on the day-to-day running of our Mid Value programme including administration and delivery of a calendar of activity

2. Support the team with various CRM system processes, and ensure records are accurately updated

3. Support the Prospect Research Manager to identify new opportunities and sources of funding

4. Streamline and manage electronic folders

5. Create purchase orders and invoices

6. Support the Trust and Major Donor teams with mailings (postal and electronic)

7. Carry out day-to-day Corporate Partnership activities and monitor incoming requests.

You will have good organisation and administrative skills. Having good time managements skills and being able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be key to making a success of this role. You will also have excellent IT skills, ideally with experience of using a CRM (we use Microsoft Dynamics).

As Finance & Operations Manager at the Foyer Federation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and building our finance and administrative functions at an operational and strategic level. You will support all aspects of the charity's work and development through the provision of strong financial assistance - ensuring accurate financial reporting, sales invoicing, bookkeeping, grant management and payroll management. You will also take day to day responsibility for HR and organisational administration.

This role will involve close collaboration with our team to ensure the day to day finance and operational requirements are met as well as working closely with the SLT and board to build greater financial resilience and strategic financial awareness within the charity.

You will have oversight of central operations, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Head of Development and Partnerships and Treasurer.
